Hian maybe that's his hospital policy but he seems rude. In other words he's saying seeing is believing. Sha don't agree to any scan until you are atleast 6 weeks, so that they won't start saying they can't find their head.

Go see a doctor that accepts bpt, maybe they would test you for malaria tho I think it's just ms doing you. I tested +ve before I missed my period and no doctor told me this 21 days story, all they needed to confirm was bpt.

Primary health centre. Ambode has put signs all around lagos so you should be able to locate the one in your area. All except Rota are free for the first 3 sets. Can't remember the others. They also do family planning free so if you choose to go that route don't go and waste money

Hey mamas,my son is about 1month old. He throws up Everytime he over feeds and I really do not know how to control the quantity of breast milk he takes in. Sometimes when I feel he has had enough he just keeps crying and turning his head left and right in the most pitiable manner,when I give him more I get the whole breast milk on my cloth. I have been the hospital on 2 occasions we were placed on admission for 5days and he was given antibiotics.

I am really worried because I wonder how he will put on weight with this habit. He also poops say after 2 episodes of breastfeeding,the paediatrician says it is normal though. I am a ftm,I am getting very frustrated with all these. The colic thing isn't helping matters too

Try to hold her still and in a head up position for like 10 mins after feeding, don't dance or move her too vigorously. I think it has more to do with the size of their stomachs. Or you could take frequent breaks in between feeds where you just make her sit up for a minute before you continue feeding.

Why was she admitted for 5 days tho, they only kept my baby overnight cuz they thought it was an infection and when the result of her blood work came out clear the next day we were discharged.

As for the colic thing, it's just a phase that's going to pass, your baby can handle it. Don't let yourself get frustrated, what I usually do is to google her symptoms, if you do you would find so many mums that have been in the exact same situation and it kinda helps you feel better.

PHCs are primary healthcare centers, they give almost all the vaccines free except rotavirus and any other after 12 months of age. However, depending on which you decide to attend you have to get there very early .

Lol. I won't even lie. I'm lucky cos my own even covers Rota. If you want to save cost you can do the govt issued ones free at PHC close to you then just go to our hospital to do the ones not covered by govt.

They do Wednesdays and Saturdays, venue is that place where we used to have Mothercraft

Small fever. Just buy paracetamol and give LO after the shot and at 8 hr intervals. It's usually gone by the next day

Mine happened earlier than that. Hope they test your urine at your Hosp check ups, as long as it's protein free your swollen feet is nothing to worry about.

They asked us to supply delivery things because they said they don't want to be running around wen somebody come to deliver in the midnight and find out that the bag is not complete. So they will check everything before the day

Am telling you! My hubby and my mom still yabs me till today. How is giddybaby? Does she still sleep for long

Hian Giddybaby has conquered me. I am hers to do with as she pleases. When she says jump I ask how high, and when she says you must dance all night, I ask 'which kind of dance do you prefer, local or international'. . She still sleeps a lot during the day but she wakes up 4-5 times at night

He should be old enough for a pacifier now, you should consider that as an option first before quitting. Sometimes they just wanna suck for reasons other than hunger. Giddybaby is here getting fatter and farting . She too has got me breastfeeding 24/7, sleep is now a thing of the past. Life would be so much better if I could express and refrigerate but NEPA won't let me be great.

Someone on the preggy thread once recommended lemon/lime. Same as the concoction above just that lemon or lime would replace the hot water. If lemon is safe for breastfeeding mums then you should def try it cuz it worked wonders for me. @hunniesuzie

Hi mamas, I went for a scan yesterday and d doctor couldn't find any baby in the sac at 9 week. Pls is this normal.

9 weeks is far along enough to find a baby, mamas that have had similar experience would answer you better when they come online but for now I think you should try a different scan place.

Use eucalyptus oil steaming. Also if you can just swioe with hot towel at night, cover the head.

If symptoms persists after 3 days please consult your doctor

Hmm u re a strong mama oh, I can't breastfeed more than 15-20mins. And before I start breastfeeding, I always grab a bottle of water and my phone cos I always feel so thirsty with the thought of breastfeeding and my phone keeps me going especially when I am not in front of the TV.

Mine is usually 30-45 mins at a time but today was different, don't know why.

Choi I just breast fed for very close to 2 hours. I feel milked, is this how the EBF use to do or am I the one that's doing it wrong. I read on google that you should feed until she acts full. She's finally sleeping again, I feel like I need to grab a massive bowl of pap before she wakes up again

It's normal for babies to sneeze a lot as that is the only way to clear their airway of particles. As per the coughing is it constant,is her nose blocked ? Babies do cough a bit as they grow and saliva production picks up. If it's the above mentioned then it's not an issue but if her nose is blocked and she's coughing a lot . Try the eucalyptus method if that doesn't help please take her to clinic.
