How can you even ask that, Gifty's English is queen's English compared to some I've heard in some movies. Most Naija actresses only focus on perfecting accents from countries they've never visited, no effort at all when it comes to grammar.

Lol, are you registered in the same state u are serving, if yes they you can collect the cert and head to the hospital from there.

No be small belle today february 2nd, carry oo. I and DH decided to kpekus at 12a.m of all the oddest hours, just for kpekus sake, na hin one kain "BHicks" contraction start wey I no understand oo. Didn't sleep till this morning. Only for me to visit the hospital to complain, na hin dem kidnap me oo.

Zara Akuchukwu Okom, weighing 3.3kg (yes, scan lied!) de with us since about 11am as I de knack una this gist soo with no episiotomy but 3 tiny tears sha. Now I don't know if there can be a more complete BS to sama for later.
I don hand over the baton for super-supernatural delivery to other february mamas. God bless us all.

Sorry about the headache, never experienced it but many mamas here complain about the same thing, just forget the paracetamol if it's not working and try to get a lot of rest.
My lo's kicks are out of this world too, these days I sleep with my tummy pressed to my husband so that the baby can be kicking both of us. The kicks always wake him up at night. Last night she kicked us so much, hubby started asking if I'm feeling ok and if I think the kicks are normal lol.

I discovered I had taken in around December, so using my LMP I calculated the EDD to be 31st of August. B4 pregnancy show me hin real name, I was still able to do some exercises andd hubby wud just be making fun of me each tym, ashey na play the thing still dey show me, wen e Sama me well ehn I nor even remember wetin exercise be. It wasn't funny at all this first trimester probably cuz being a FTM, I hated the smell of food, couldn't eat, vomiting everything down to water, no strength, I've lost 10kg from December till now.

About 2 weeks ago, someone recommended pregnacare with omega 3 which I've been taking and I've been able to eat well since then, I eat almost 2-3hrs apart although in small portion each time.

I live in Kubwa,Abuja and after much consulting, I was told the general hospital is better for ANC compared to a private one. I then went to General Hospital Kubwa last week and was directed to one of the nurses for registration. She asked me how far gone I was and then scheduled me for REGISTRATION on the 17th of March, I felt I didn't hear well, I was like "Madam, I'm almost 3 months o not 1month" and she said "ehn now, come on 17th march b4 six a.m"

In my head I was having meeting and confused so I met with another member of staff and explained my ordeal to which he was also affirmative that I shud come by 5 on the given date.

My dilemma is that isn't the given date too far away. God forbid something happens to me or my cutie in between.

Is there anyone in the house who lives in Abuja specifically Kubwa and has used the general hospital and can share her experience or tips on choosing an hospital for ANC.

Also please I need all the advise I can get on what I'm not doing yet.

I think 3 months is the perfect time to start, except it's a high risk pregnancy. I believe the only reason private hospitals register you in first trimester is cuz they want customer and don't want to risk loosing you. Nothing would happen to you, besides in first trimester, and doctors can't even prevent much from happening to you. Just start taking your folic acid until next month then go and register.

What never reach 3 months, we have like 10 weeks to go o. I don't even still know my blood group and no one has asked to test me or maybe they did but didn't tell me. I only know my genotype cuz my parents and all my siblings are AA. I'd confirm when next I'm at the hospital, just in case I'm adopted

You've already named the baby, what does it mean, I've only heard of Jayden. If not for work me sef would have changed environment since, I'm missing my mother's TLC and I want to go and see her.

Wait until boo would stumble on that diary, nobody would tell you to come to diaryland and do it the new school way. Don't let the shopping bother you, I haven't started either, highest we would order the baby list online and have it delivered to the hospital

I don't even know whether the first trimester symptoms are back, all i sha know is that nowadays i feel nauseated, i can so eat and most times feel sleepy and tired.....like i should stop working and start my leave right away but ehmmmm the money is tempting(na small change oo)

as for baby's gender...i dont know why i'm just not so anxious, i will be having my second scan soon(next week) probably we get to know the gender there.

Also i have been trying to register at government hospital too but my work and boss aren't cooperating at all, i have been using private hospital all this while

for baby's things i'm yet to start buying, i'm just been lazy about it maybe it partly because i'm yet to know the gender.

In other news, baby is too playful, e be like say my belle look like playing field to him, just kicking somebody anyhow(especially above my belly button and belly button) like someone who dey dance azonto, e will now be using the hand to look for lost items around my waistline. If i mistakely rest hand on the stomach e go kick me so tey until i remove am, like say the stomach na him own and not mine.

Also I'm getting more beautiful and thin(directly opposite), doctor had to ask me if i just fined a tin of milo, weight is just skyrocketing anyhow....me i yaf tired to use my money to dey buy clothes.

But on a more serious note, the last urine analysis i did, it was detected that i have both glucose and protein in my urine, i dont know what i should be eating again, me just jokingly(i cant come and kill myself o jare, there's God) told the doctor that with the state of things in nigeria i cant escape eating carbohydrates.

Lol, you and I are in the same category in almost everything. My baby goes into a
kicking frenzy sometimes, I find it odd the few times she's quiet for long periods.

My feets looks like elephant feet but the doctor never takes it seriously cuz there's no protein in urine. Try to follow your doctors instructions and you'd be fine. 3 months more and we'd be free.
