At 8 months she can eat
Garri, semo, fufu and the normal family soup, you only need to make sure there's no bone in hers and not much pepper. But to be extra careful, you can make hers too. Blend the okro to be smoother. Wash the fish yourself and debone thoroughly then cook the soup like your normal okro but no pepper,
just a little salt and no msg.

congrats, I'm suspecting she would start accepting more foods now after the weaning. GB started loving cereal once I weaned her. She's still not a big fan of cerelac but loves nutribom with plenty fullcream milk.

Christmas clothes ke. GB is going to repeat her birthday outfit for Christmas cuz I spent a lot of money on that thing and she only wore it for like 2 hours on the day before she got cranky and had to wear a bodysuit. And she would soon outgrow it and what if I never have another baby girl, my money can not just go like that.

Ok back to your question. I noticed that there are lots of baby shops on my street, that's where I buy outing clothes. But they are expensive. Most times a pair of anything would cost 5k more or less. Dresses are even worse. Those shops are everywhere really. Baby clothes is lucrative business

Lol I put one Ribena in her creche bag and it stays there all through the term and I don't even ask cuz I know why. The nanny had probably tried a few times and seen pepper. The child kukuma loves water, she can finish 2 to 3 bottles of water in a day so I focus on that.

I consider them more of a treat than feeding even at 19 months. We can spend months on one carton of Ribena cuz I only give like once or twice a week normally. As for tea, GB has just never liked it and even if she did, it's not a drink I can give daily cuz of sugar . Theres one cocoa drink hunniesuzzie once recommended. It doesnt have sugar, guess you can sweeten with formula. I was going to try that one but GB started sleeping through the night. Someone also recommended making your own fruit juices. I think 10 months is old enough for ribena and home made fruit juices but start very slowly, and dont make it a routine.

Jay is enjoying. I'd try this with GB maybe it's more filing. To give her Ribena now scares me cuz she's ready to drink 3 packs before she would be happy. Giving her one pack of Ribena is finding trouble. She would finish it, shake the empty pack, fling it and start tantrum.

We have stopped daytime feeding for 2 weeks now he feeds only when we come back in the evening. As for the night own I just confused small but I had to find a way out. He doesn't like tea but he sleeps throughout the night when he drinks it so I gave him tea Thursday night and he slept till Friday morning then I gave him with real struggling yesterday, we had to hold his hands and legs o and this boy still woke up around 1am I just quickly put water in the milo I kept beside me and gave him he didn't sleep but kept on crying I was petting him and pinning him to the bed las las he slept. While i appreciate WHO and their suggestions this is why I can never do it past 12 months. The things I was seeing at that 12 months sef. Hope you are not timing the breastfeeding. Try breastfeeding as often as possible.

I am angry with myself right now and I feel like spanking dd myself :Dfor falling off her push chair. I left her in her push chair in front of the tv to prepare her food (ignored the fact that she has learnt to stand in the pushchair). Saw her wriggling trying to get out quickly dashed into the kitchen and lo I heard a sound. If he likes watching videos, keep playing nursery rhymes about brushing for him. GB used to fight me at brushing time but now it's so easy cuz all I do is sing a brushing song she likes and she would open her mouth. If this doesn't work, you just have to keep doing the by force one.

Eyah sorry, hope he's ok. Check his body to make sure he's ok and give pcm if the fall was a hard one. He's probably ok. Give it one year now and you would be screaming 'Sorry, get up, I told you so' from the bathroom. No need to feel horrible, next time you would know to push him in and barricade with pillows before you get up, they operate like lightening.

Two weeks is long o, have you checked that theres nithing else wrong with her? Every time my baby gets treated for infection, I give multivite and folic acid until she regains her normal appetite again. Also give her whatever she'd take for now. Last time GB was sick she was taking things like Ribena, biscuit, puffpuff and the likes for like a week after the sickness, she would take only like five spoons of most of her normal food until her normal appetite returned but that took like a week.
