Good evening mamas, please help me torchlight this matter abeg. I noticed that since I weaned my daughter, it's been from one rashes to another, we would used drugs and it will disappear only to appear again. We have used all sort (Agnesia, rising raving, tetmosol soap, Angy yo-yo, ABF, cacatin e. t. c) both prescribed and u prescribed. Am even tired, please help out.

PS: She is almost 17 months

Are you sure most of it is not just heat rashes cuz the weather has been really hot.

Tanx for d suggestions, my neighbor's sister who is a matron came visiting and i complained to her, she examined her legs and noticed one knee was pointing outward and told dat could b d cause and it could be as a result of poor handling during birth as they had a similar case, she gave me a contact of a bone doctor and asked i go see him, i called to book an appointment but he said i hv to be recommended by a pediatrician, so I'm going to our pediatrician and take it from there.

Gud day mamas, pls i need help concerning my 13months old daughter, she doesn't put her feet firmly on any surface since birth, even wen held upright, she is not crawling yet nor standing but she sits well and play very well, hv been to three different reowned pediatrician based on recommendation in benin and warri and they all attributed it to fear after series of test and examination but I'm worried because if u trow her up she doesn't exhibit any sign of fear, and even if it fear atlest she shud be able to put her feet down wen held upright. Never read anything like this here so I have no idea. I'd recommend getting an opinion from other specialists rather than just pediatricians. Maybe doctors that specialize on bones or walking related issues.

But how do you people pacify your baby after weaning E.g sometimes if baby fall or takes an injection, we quickly shuk breast in their mouth and that settles it. Any alternative Wonder working bwrees

Lol wonder working abi lazy method. After weaning, just carrying and rocking them would get you the same result. Other methods depending on the severity of the situation include, singing, lollipop, Ribena, letting them play with (and break) their favourite toy, which might not be a toy at all. E.g. your phone .
For GB I put her on the bed facing down and tap her back and sing for her to sleep but I regret getting her used to that cuz now she hardly sleeps without it. So with the next baby, no backtapping

I used to wonder about the same thing b4 I weaned but it's really not an issue.

We weaned successfully, these days she comes to bring out breast but I tell her it is smelling then she starts covering her nose...she sleeps from 9pm to 4am , she takes just water and goes back to sleep.. she still refuses to eat but we will get there soon... Thanks

Stop the coconut oil and the powder. Powder has never worked for heat rashes on my baby, I've tried different ones and they always end up making the rashes look worse. Try Baby tribotan, that what I use.

Hi mama's in the house help, we will be 6months on the 18th our nose is plugged that can't even suck have v droped silver bird in his bathing water. Took him to the hospital they gave bells vitamin c and paracetamol still no improvement, went back they gave him antibiotics (augmentine) it stop like two weeks and came back yesterday. How did it come back again in 2 weeks? Does he go to Creche? Take him to the hospital and insist they run tests for malaria and infection.
You can put a drop of silver bird in hot water and do steam inhalation for him. I don't think you're supposed to put the oil in his bath water. You can also put some drops on his bedspread. Take care

Update: She appears to have caught it and its more obvious on her face. I got calamine lotion for the both of them. Is there any other supporting drug to add? The Paed in the hospital we use only comes on selected days of the week

Sorry no recommendations but you must not see a paed for this, you can still go to the hospital and see any GP.

Mamas abeg my son poop has been green for some days now, say 3 days. Since we started solids he poops thick brown smelly poop like once in 2 or 3 days ( sorry, tmi) but for 3 days now, its been green and he goes like 3 times a day. The consistency is almost like the yellow new born poop but it is thicker. No vomiting, no temperature, he is his normal self. Could it be teething? He is 7months + and no teeth yet. What should i do? Or is it normal?

What formula are you giving him. Maybe it's the iron content in it. GB had similar poop at 6 months ish when we tried Gerber cereal, finally had to stop the cereal even tho she was taking it well.
