Use Whatsapp Web log option from your main whatsapp account to delete any unauthorized device.

Or enable two-step verification.
To do so go to;
WhatsApp → Menu options at Top Right → Settings → Account → Enable 2 Step-verification.
When someone tries to activate your WhatsApp on another device, he will be asked for a security code that only you know. Without that code, it will be impossible for another person to register your WhatsApp on another computer.

Someone close to me somehow got access to message on my WhatsApp and showed me the message to my greatest surprise.

I am thinking it could be when I temporarily disabled the password to my phone, but am very worried also about the possibility that my WhatsApp transactions are being spied on or monitored.

Therefore my appeals for tech savvy guys to pls share tips on how I can determine if someone is reading my WhatsApp messages or listening to my conversations and how to rectify if it is so. Thanks in advance for your help.

WhatsApp now use End-to-end encryption, which ensures only you and the person you're communicating with can read what's sent, and nobody in between, not even WhatsApp.
May be! just may be he got hold of your phone and removed your sim card and inserted it to another phone and activated your WhatsApp account. I have once done that in a windows phone, just that the messages take time to arrive.
Or you sold an old phone recently and forgot to wipe your data.

Besides, stop glorifying crime - if Innosson boss and IVM strongly believe they aren't guilty, why is he deliberately avoiding court proceedings. The previous judge was changed by NJC yet he still wouldn't show up in court. That is outrageous and unbecoming of the chief executive officer of an indigenous company. He must remember that he can be convicted in absentia but I guess the court really wants to address his disregard for the court.
