I have never seen a man proudly standing tall in front of Nigerian flag singing the nation anthem. Even in school the anthem was a thing of mockery.

Nigeria is a scam and not a father land. What improvement have this country made. In other nations the children of tomorrow are prepared for the future but here we still sing the 36 states and capital.

Still battling with 24 hrs power supply.

This country must be divided. Everybody should simply go their different ways.

This the same thing that happened in South Africa, they said Nigerians are killings their economies by doing their jobs at a very very cheap rate. By offering a services or goods cheap will disvalue that products

Oga it is business strategy. Are you going to arrest or fight mama put that sells a plate of rice for N300 as against a hotel that sell a plate for N5,000.

The white man said "small penny is better than quicker penny"

If you sell a product cheaper it enables you to restock and make 3 times profit than your neighbours.

Politics / The True Story Of Isaac Adaka Boro by giftedben: 4:59am On May 21, 2020
During the Biafran-Nigerian civil war, there were a few Biafran sons and daughters, who were used and killed by the Hausa and Yoruba controlled Nigerian Government. Some of them were made to believe that Biafra was dominated by Igbos and would seize all the resources in Biafra lands. Isaac Adaka Boro was among the the prominent sons who were misguided.

And he paid dearly with his life for betraying the Biafran Republic. And for more than fifty years, his tribe have suffered the nemesis of his mistakes because he was misled and betrayed by his Hausa and Yoruba friends.

The storie of Isaac Adaka Boro is a great lesson for contemporary and potential betrayals of the renewed movement for the restoration of Biafran Republic.

Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro, from Kaiama (in present day Bayelsa State), was born in September 10, 1938 in Oloibiri. Isaac Boro, while studying Chemistry at University of Nigeria
Nsukka became the Student Union President of the University.

Despite the support and political patronage he got from his Igbo brothers at the university, Boro led the first revolution of resource control in Nigeria few months after Aguiyi Ironsi became the Head of State of Nigeria.

He formed the Niger Delta Volunteer Force (NDVF), the first armed militia of only Ijaw extraction. On February 23, 1966, Boro and his NDVF declared the Niger Delta Republic. This was the first time any part of Nigeria tried to secede. He believed that the Ijaw people deserved a reasonable share of proceeds of the oil wealth than they were getting from the Federal Government.

For twelve days Boro and his militias battled the Federal forces before they were finally defeated by the far superior Federal firepower. Isaac Boro and some of his men were convicted of treason and sentenced to death, but Ironsi out of mercy decided to jail him instead of killing him as demanded by the law.

On the eve of the Biafran-Nigerian war in May 1967, then Nigerian Head of State Yakubu Gowon granted him amnesty and drafted him into the Nigerian Army. He was afterwards commissioned as a major in the Nigerian Army. With his army of 1000 Ijaw soldiers. He fought alongside Col. Benjamin Adekunle, who was heading the 3rd Marine Commando Division of the Nigerian army.

With deep knowledge of the Niger Delta creeks, Boro and his men fought along-side the Nigerian troops to push back the Biafran soldiers of the region.

Isaac Boro was betrayed by the Nigerian forces he trusted. On May 16, 1968, after a successful gun battle against Biafran forces at Ogu (near Okrika) in Rivers State, Boro was ambushed by what many of his men then believed was a unit sent by Col. Adekunle. In a brief and fierce battle, Adenkunle’s men gunned him down.

His death went down in history as mysterious as there was no conclusive evidence on who assassinated Boro. Strong allegations pointed to treacherous Col. Adekunle, envied by Boro’s rising prominence in the Nigerian Army, Ordered the assassination of Boro in order to seize the glories which Boro enabled the 3 Marine Commando Division to achieve.

Subsequent to Boro’s death, Adekunle took all the credits of the achievements of the division.

A Regimental Sergeant Major under Boro was quoted saying "Boro did not die in the heat of battle with the Biafran forces". He said, the area had already been captured and secured by their troops and Major Boro was on an inspection tour when they came under fire. The type of gunfire that erupted during the gun battle that killed Boro was completely different from what the Biafrans were known to use in that area of the war. This confirmed to them that it was one of the federal troops units that carried out the ambush. As soon as Boro died, his 1000 band of soldiers was disbanded.

According to Olusegun Obasanjo in his book My Command, Adekunle’s post-war political ambition pushed him into assassinating Boro, as he was using the war to building a ‘formidable’ name for himself. Obasanjo stated that “Col.
Adekunle, at this point saw the war not only in terms of crushing a rebellion, but also as a means of building himself up for any future political position or responsibility which he
might wish to seek, I knew of people of Western State origin who had felt politically victimized and who saw in Col.Adekunle a saviour and told him so, and he believed them.”

What Boro fought and died for had eluded his people for years. Niger Delta has remained impoverished despite the huge revenue it has continued to generate for the country. Oil fields and mining leases have been allocated to northern oligarchs and friends.

Isaac Boro remains a lesson for future
revolutionaries in knowing where to pitch their tent.

Ask her what's her tax per month

You guys should stop with this foolish assumption that Nigerians dont pay tax unless you don't pay. You pay more than enough for electricity which you do not consume. What about transporters that pays for tickets before they can start work for the day. Your tax is automatically deducted from your salary if you are a civil servant. If you are sending or receiving money, taxes are automatically deducted every end of the month. The same thing is applicable to recharging your phone lines..... If I go on and on the list is much.

The only difference between a US citizen and A Nigerian citizen that pays tax is that the US citizens actually see were their taxes are going and what it is used for, but for a Nigerian citizen you don't even know what your monies are used for or were it is going and that is why you have this foolish assumption that Nigerians do not pay tax.

Nigeria was never a great country. The only great thing about Nigeria is the ability to loot and reloot public funds.

Going by your question. If I was the president of Nigeria, I will divide the country. No country can be great if the foundation is weak, collapse is inevitable.

I am curious to know why they want igbos to join hands with them to start a revolution against the Government.

They are so pained they got fooled, when igbos did not. Complete scumbags; blinded by power sharing promised to them by the North.

The North will do to them; 'the things they did to Obafemi Awolowo and MKO Abiola'.

Sctests:
Anybody who knows the history country very well knows what to do to achieve unity. Let's stop pretending.

There can be no peace without justice, the yorubas agitated with OPC in the 90s due to MKO abiola saga, the whole country ensured that a yoruba man was elected president for the first time in Nigeria by giving them the two ticket on the 2 leading
parties.

Same was done for Niger deltans when they agitated for resource control and militancy was the order of the day. The whole country ensured that GEJ became president which was good.

Today the East have been asking peacefully that was done to Segun and Preye should be done to be Obi, but some rabid elements think they that they must try to shout down the East who are more than 50 million strong in population and resident world over.

My verdict- Anybody who is talking about 'unity' without promoting and a Presidency of Eastern extraction in the nearest future which is justifiable is trying to decieve himself and others. You are simply trying to pretend the 'infection' is not their while focusing on the symptoms of a disease.

We have a zoning formular, which means 'turn by turn'. The hausa-fulani have done their, yoruba have taken their share, Ndigbo should also be allowed to do their turn and leave.

Let 'unity pretenders' stop pretending that they can't see the problem while preferring to go on a wild goose chase in the name of 'search of unity' while the truth stares them in the face.

There can be no unity without justice and equity. It has never happened in human history.
I schooled in Lagos. I was in jss 2 when a Yoruba teacher came to class and said something to the Igbo students. He told us "igbos" to leave their lands. He does not know why we would leave our lands and come over to Yoruba lands to school, work and build houses. He specifically used the word "igbos". Mind-you my school is mixed with Hausas/Fulani, Yorubas, Igbos.
This is what a Yoruba teacher told a class of jss2 pupils. If I can remember General Odumegwu Ojukwu once said something similar, "he vividly said: why would his brothers and sisters work and then use the money and build houses and companies in foreign lands, they are goats for doing such a thing".
Why I am bringing this two scenario is to tell you that General Odumegwu Ojukwu never believed in one Nigeria. Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani have never like or loved the igbos. So if you are thinking an Igbo man would be president, then you are dreaming. Igbos are feared all over Nigeria. They would never be allowed to take a lead in this corrupt country.

That is the very reason you must fight for the future of your unborn children. We did it before and it failed and we can do it again till we succeed. That have always been the spirit of the igbos "A never give-up attitude", but other tribes mistook it for arrogance.

All we want is a separate nation called Biafra.

Revolution cannot start on nairaland. Every region should send a representative with the blue print of what his or her people wants. We sit on a round table and discuss it. As I am writing this, I can confidently tell you my people wants out of Nigeria. I don't know what other regions want and that is why there is a need for discussion. We must agree to a common goal, we kill them all.

Nnamdi kanu picture addressing EU delegate in Brussels is that not fake, anybody can go outside EU headqauter in Brussels and take picture. Nnamdi Kanu went to white house gate take picture and go to trump rally in America only to be reported that he meet trump, which every ordinary person can do on tourism visit. if I continue mention countless of his fake news that kill some of his followers who think they have a serious leaders not knowing they have a tourist leader who travel around to take picture and discieve his followers, have you ever ask yourself why you never heard of Nnamdi kanu and Biafra struggle on any of world media news.

Nnamdi Kanu addressed EU delegates and I could remember about two important words they asked him.

(1) Do you Nnamdi Kanu want to start a civil war with the Nigerian Government?
Answer: No, I Nnamdi Kanu do not want to start a civil war with the Nigerian government. I am a freedom fighter and I have been going about it in a peaceful protest without arms and ammunitions.

(2) What are you protesting for?
Answer: I Nnamdi Kanu want a referendum to determine the faith of my people. Just like the UK want out of European Union. In my case my people was forced into Nigeria by the UK without our consent, While the UK agreed to join European Union, in our case we were forced to join Nigeria.

I remembered he was asked why he wanted out of Nigeria and he told them, his people are been marginalised, when they try to speak up,they are either killed or raped.

The European Union advised him not to start a war. That they don't want Nigeria to become another Sudan. They said Nigerian should try to vote in the right leaders. While this was going on the European Union allowed calls to come in, to hear from citizens of Nigeria. Did you know the people that called? It was the Yorubas. They hated everything Nnamdi Kanu was telling the European Union. They were furious and angry. Not a single Hausa/Fulani man called.

In the case of Nnamdi Kanu meeting trump. Almost Every country leaders that have interest in Nigeria have meet and spoken with Nnamdi kanu.

In the case of foreign news media showing Biafra agitation. Those foreign media do not have Biafra or Nigeria best interests at heart. What they want is for a war to break out and not a peaceful protest. Money are made during war.

Nnamdi Kanu is the worst freedom fighter I have ever hear or read how can you be fighting for independent and all what you does is feeding your followers with fake news and fake hope leaving many of them to die of ignorant.
