CastedDude: The suspected leader of a gang known as the "Great Men" Mr. Chinedu Akpunonu (AKA Obrocho) that allegedly masterminded the shooting in St. Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu, has opened up to his counsel Okechukwu Ikenna and narrated how the shooting was carried out in Ozubulu.
Recently, the Anambra State Police Command paraded four suspected members of a deadly gang (The Great Men) including their leader Mr. Chinedu Akpunonu (AKA Obrocho) who confessed to have masterminded the Ozubulu massacre that had 13 people killed and about 22 injured on August 6.
Chinedu who further confessed to have never sent his boys to attack the St. Philips Catholic Church that led to the shooting of the congregations said: "our target was Bishop, I sent my boys to get me bishop, and when they went to his house and could not find him, they decided to check him in the church and after they realized Bishop had left the country back to South Africa they resorted to killing members of his family which resulted the careless shooting in the church.
One of the suspects, 44-year-old Vincent Ike condemned the killing and disassociated himself saying it wasn't in their plan but the boys overreacted.
Penalty82: The proscribed Indigenous People People of Biafra on Monday justified its agitation for Igbo’s self-determination.
It maintained in a paper it filed before the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday that the Federal Government fraudulently obtained the order proscribing it and designating it as a terrorist group.
The group stated that contrary to the Federal Government’s contention painting it as a violent organisation, it was a non-violent group operating within the confines of domestic and international laws in agitating for self-determination for the people of Igbo extraction.
The Acting Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Abdu Kafarati, who made the proscription order on September 21, 2017, will today (Tuesday) hear IPOB’s motion challenging the court order.
A lawyer in IPOB’s legal team, Prince Umegborogu, who deposed to a further affidavit filed in support of the group’s motion challenging the court’s proscription order, described the group as a freedom fighter for the Igbo.
The further affidavit read in part, “That the respondent/applicant has been operating strictly within the confines of constitutional frameworks, and international covenants.
“That the respondent/applicant’s members are ethnic nationality-based group, genuinely and non-violently agitating for self-determination and doing so relying on the full principles of self-determination.
“That the respondent/applicant represents a group of recognised freedom fighters, for the rescue of the Igbo race from undisguised and obvious repression, marginalisation, disrespect and ridicule as second-class citizens.
“That demonstration towards the realisation of the right to self-determination is recognised as Fundamental Rights in International Law and the United Nations Charter.”
The group stated that it had never killed any person contrary to the Federal Government’s allegation.
It stated that the huge crowds its rallies often drew had never been shown to carry weapons.
It also added that the Federal Government had grossly misinterpreted its activities as amounting to the intimidation of the whole nation.
IPOB, through its lead counsel, Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor, had filed the further affidavit, after receiving the Federal Government’s counter-affidavit opposing the group’s application seeking the discharge of the proscription order issued against it.
Justice Kafarati had on September 21, 2017, issued the proscription order upon an ex parte application by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami (SAN).
But in a motion filed by the group before the same judge on September 22, the group contended that the proscription order was unconstitutional.
The motion was anchored on 13 grounds, first of which was that the proscription order was made without jurisdiction “as the order was granted against an entity unknown to law.”
The AGF office subsequently filed a counter-affidavit justifying the proscription order of court.
But in its further affidavit filed on Monday, the group stated that allegations levelled against its leader, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, by the Federal Government to justify the proscription order were false.
Human rights activist and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Festus Keyamo has taunted the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, over its announcement that it had sacked Nnamdi Kanu as director of Radio Biafra.
Keyamo wondered why IPOB, who had alleged that Kanu was killed by Nigerian army, was still announcing his removal ‘in the grave’.
DAILY POST reports that Radio Biafra upon resumption on Monday announced through one Ifeoma Okorafor that the radio was restructuring.
She announced that, “Mazi Nnamdi Nwanekaenyi Kanu, the former Director of Radio Biafra is hereby dismissed and removed as Director of Radio Biafra following extensive and intensive consultations”
“Kanu’s actions and his decisions to incite members of IPOB towards violence leading to the death of many innocent young people in Onitsha, Aba and Umuahia is totally unacceptable and grossly irresponsible.
“Kanu privately collected £14 million and another $22 million to purchase landed properties abroad in his name and that of his father, Igwe Israel Kanu, in a clear case of ‘monkey dey work baboon dey chop’.”
Reacting, however, Keyamo rhetorically asked if Biafra was now a zoo.
He tweeted, “So, after IPOB earlier claimed the Army killed Kanu, did they wake him from d grave to ask him questions over allegations against him before sacking him as their leader? Or did they sack him without hearing from him? Would that not be the style of animals in a zoo? Is Biafra now a zoo?”
Yyeske: This one only feels like something anytime he says anything Biafra, Igbo, IPOB and Ojukwu. He can never say anything about making Osun state a better state
Kingstel: To add, the rate at which innocent and indecent girls abort pregnancies these days make guys to be considering virgin girls or nothing else as better wife option.
I know 2 differents guys who have aborted for 2 different so-called girls; and this is just the little information I am told.
Mehn...ladies need to keep themselves virgin or celibate (Men too). Most guys saying they will never marry virgins are just deceiving ladies or simply ignorant.
Have you ever entered a brand new car? What's the feeling like? How much more human beings that are worth more than anything in this world.
Davindal: Please guys, trust no girl wholeheartedly oo. Trust any girl at your own peril, if you fail to heed my warning.
A girl I have been keeping for almost 2 years - with the hope of marrying her once I pass out from here in NDA - just disappointed me, thereby shattering me to pieces. Right now, am in pains.
I was given 3 days pass to enable me attend an important event at home. Before the permission, my supposed babe have been disturbing on how badly she needed to be sexed, and how distance has been a barrier to that effect. I kept telling her to hold her chill, that am gonna be back soon. Although I had heard annoying stuffs about my babe - now an Ex, on how she was frolicking with different guys in my absence, but I was not deterred; simply because, I didn't believe in hearsays.
Yesterday, she called and sent me sweet text messages as she normally do. I asked her to come over to my house around 4PM which she reluctantly obliged. But the way she sounded over the phone made it clear that she never wished to see me any time soon, maybe due to her schedules with other stuffs.
However, I pondered how my babe who has been disturbing and informing me on how 'conjirized' she is suddenly feel not too excited coming to see me dispite being aware that I came home on Tuesday(17th) night.
Time ticked to 4pm yesterday, I didn't see her. I exercised patience till 5pm before I gave her call, but she didn't pick. I called for the second time but no picking again. I decided to hold dowm my anger and not to call her again for the day. Around 15mins to 6pm, she called back saying that her phone was on silent. I ask why, and she told me she would explain when she reached my home that she was running short of airtime.
Finally, she came and apologized after explanation of what led to her phone being on silent. I asked her never to worry that am not holding anything against her, that she should be free.
However, situation changed the moment I tried making love with her as she undressed. Down her private part, I perceived the 'SCENT of CONDOM', and that was it. I enquired why she smells of condom there, but she couldn't give me coherent and articulate answer.
Being furious, I slapped and pushed her out of my compound.
Today in the afternoon, I sent her final warning to stay clear from me or I will shoot her skull to pieces.
Finally, guys be weary of whom you date. Most ladies out there are evil.

ibukunobi: I went to Awoyaya Junction to buy A BAG OF MAMA GOLD Rice from one UCHENNA VICTOR. My wife checked this bag of rice all to discover that the Label on it has expired as at May 2017, aside from that, I put the Bag on my scale and it reads exactly 45kg.
My heart bleeds for this Country whenever I see dishonesty ravaging all businesses in this country and when someone comes up to correct the wrong, that person will be victimized. This country seem to condone Dishonesty at the same time claim Holiness. how can you be cheating on people and still tell us you are a Christian Where is it done on earth that a 50KG bag turns to 45kg in Nigeria at the cost of 50KG.
We need someone to help us to raise alarm on this problem to the Government. I hope Osibanjo can get to know this one day When are we going to have a regulatory body that monitors this gross dishonesty and controls them Until the Government torch peoples life in this way can the Govt. gain respect from the people.
why going for country banded product? you never see any thing.
Mbkite: I sincerely need to know our views about getting married at the age of 35 for men. Is it late to marry at 35?
you can be 35 at still not ready mentally its not a competition .but their are some factors to be change checked 1.Mentaly stable (known that married is beyond sex and making babies) 2.spiritualy stable(be a Good Christian,Moslem, pegan or a Jews.) 3.Financially stable.( once u can provide daily meal for more than 2 persons in 25days.
Proudlyngwa: It is being painted as if it is surplus. With what I understand, if supply is more than demand, there is surplus and prices tend to fall or normalize.
And in the East here cassava(garri /fufu) is the number one food followed by indomie. Rice is a distant third.
the truth is that since importation of some food produce has been stopped partially. more people need to embrace Agric more for prices of food produce to reduce. in the east a chain of cassava (11x11) m goes for 30-35k. now can u imagine that. God help us all
rice has become the stable nigeian food every house cook rice once in a day there by making the demand high and quantity produced still low as population is increasing by d day.
princetom1: Una see something, and government go dey shout we build mill, we give them this and that... Why then is all these ones not processed? Do we need a fortune teller to know that they will make more money wen it is processed?
some are seedlings no need for processing besides agric is chains producers -processer - marketers consumers .
love23401: Photos: Ayo Fayose's Son Graduates From Covenant University, Says; "Children Of Public Office Holders Should Attend Schools In Nigeria"
Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose's fourth son, Rogba, graduated from Covenant University in Ogun state yesterday July 21st. Fayose in company of his wife, Feyisetan and other sons, attended the convocation ceremony which held in the school's premises. While speaking to newsmen, Fayose called on Nigerians to invest in the country's education sector expressing belief that a Nigerian university can one day emerge best in the world with proper funding. According to him, Children of public office holders should attend schools in Nigeria.
"I won't condemn people for sending their wards to study abroad but I have always believed the best could be gotten here in Nigeria. During my first tenure as governor, I withdrew my sons from a private school(Olashore International School) to SPEB public primary school in Ekiti, an initiative of my then administration. My Sons graduated from Nigerian Universities, I want others to emulate me, we have the best here, we can choose to invest here. We talk and do. Whatever we say is what we practice. Apart from the fact that none of children attended schools abroad, I have never travelled out of the country for Medicare. Even though views of people like us might not be popular among the powers that be because we say the truth and act the truth, we won’t stop telling them what they do not like to hear and one of such is that the only way to improve the standard of education in the country is for children of holders of public office to experience what children of ordinary Nigerians are experiencing in schools in the country"he said.
Speaking further, Fayose said "As a parent, we are fulfilled. Graduating from here is a value added to his life, as the fourth son of the family and the third to graduate from this University, it gladdens our hearts and we are happy to identify with him, we thank God for his life and we thank the University for helping us to train him. When you have certificate issued to you, it comes with character, I urge modern day Nigerian graduates to make a sense out of the certificate and the character and take advantage of the opportunities they were exposed to so as to have a better tomorrow for themselves and the future generations. I wish these graduands the best and pray that the parents reap the fruits of their labour over them".
brainpower: This is definitely a wrong move for them. Let's assume it may not happen the way you said, the other option will be indirectly handing APC the governorship election on a platter of gold. A few people will come out and vote without being checked and they will do whatever they please. When the APC wins, the cry and wailing will continue and the only party that truly represents the Igbos will go into extinction all because of Nnamdi Kanu.
you sabi book APC people will come out and vote and since apga is claiming it Igbo party. the will want to follow NK.at the end of the counting . APC 2,9076. APGA 18 the 18 vote is from. Willi and family members.haha haha haha haha s
