Nollywood Actress Bimbo Adebayo made a name for herself recently when she starred in her own production, Jibike Alaseju which quickly became a blockbuster, riding on the efforts of her exceptional acting and the contribution of other professional actors who brought their class act game to the movie.

Speaking to Nollywood Circle on Friday about the year 2021 and how it is coming on, Bimbo explained that, “Yes! The year begins on a good note, the pandemic came last year and it affected productivity to certain extent. So, we had to invent new strategies, double up the efforts in order to make up for plans that didn’t manifest in the previous year. I have been on couple of sets this year and I tell you, I have really had a good time working with the actors, producers and entire crew.”

When asked about how she felt about the reception of her movie, Jibike Alaseju, the busty actress revealed that the feedbacks have been motivating and she looks forward to pushing out projects that are worthy of conversations both home and outside the country. She said, “There is always a reward for excellence and that is determined by the level of efforts and originality that you invest into your projects. Once I had the idea of Jibike Alaseju, I knew what I wanted and I am glad God blessed it immensely.”

On being a family and career woman, Bimbo included that she has been able to manage her family affairs successfully over the years without clashing with her desire to pursue a career. “My family loves me. They come first and I do not discount their love. We bond as family and it is just easy. Also, when it is time to put in the work, I can’t be found missing in action.”

Addressing handling advances from admirers, she said, “Almost every other week, we are back to this circle but I am diplomatic enough to put people in their place. You can’t imagine, men still make advances at me despite being married. It is funny but this is what I get to handle sometimes. I am a principled individual and this has helped me developed approaches in dealing with this people as they come.”

In her conclusion, Bimbo Adebayo revealed that there is more to come from her production table this year as she implore fans to cross their fingers for the magic to come.
