chinese8107: you may say that.
but China has it's own 5000kw engine for helicopter with 20 tons payload. even if Russia don't help, just a matter of time.
Turth mi-26 is 56 tons the heaviest helicopter ever exist, but it's payload is still 20 tons, due to old inefficient design and material used.
why Russia wanna" help" China, because they see the chance getting benefits during the cooperation.rather than sitting idle see a competitor coming but doing nothing I agree with u. mostly benefit interms of financial relief. if u think u have d technology know how y not do it on ur own |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Technical Discussions On International Military Equipments Doctrines Tactics Etc by giles14(m): 9:29am On Oct 07, 2016 |
chinese8107: yes, but it is still not obsloe for many country, isn't it ? comparing with mi-17. . And I don't think it will totoally retire soon, for transport or commercial use ect, as smaller helicopter still exist.V-22 or V280 entering service doesn't mean other helicopter must retire
in fact Russia is considering cooperating with China to build a heavy helicopter with 38tons taking off weight. That would be heavier than CH-47 and CH53E d mil 26 is heavier than both d ch47 n ch53.and d heavier helo to b developed is a derivative of d mil 26 |

chinese8107: backward is probably not only China. How many country can make a" blackhawk" with all technology blocked by USA ? The Chinese version blackhawk is equipt with more powerfull engine than the original US one. The original version's Service ceiling: 19,000 ft (5,790 m),while the Chinese "clone" version is higher, the main rotor speaks.
At least China aleady catched up,in some fieldcs even have overtaken . d blackhawk will b retired and replaced by d V280 soon |

sweetsandy4luv: APGA NWC Suspends National Chairman, Dr. Victor Oye Reacts…Gov. Obiano Set To Dump Party For APC [Must Read]
The National Working Committee of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has suspended its National Chairman, Dr. Victor Oye for alleged gross misconduct.
Continue reading here>>>http://www.newsflashngr.com/apga-nwc-suspends-national-chairman-dr-victor-oye-reactsgov-obiano-set-to-dump-party-for-apc-must-read/
There were indications that the Anambra state governor, Chief Willie Obiano, would review his membership of APGA.
A member of the NWC of the party who pleaded anonymity said yesterday on phone that he was suspended after it rose from its monthly meeting in Abuja, adding that suspension of the national Chairman was in line with the provisions of the party’s constitution. He said the suspension was as a result of findings that the chairman breeched the party’s constitution and his other inordinate practices. But it was learnt the state governor, Chief Willie Obiano was not in support of the move to suspend the national chairman and tried in vain through phones calls to stop it and may join the rival All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
“The governor was calling us to stop the suspension, but nobody listened to him. “Now what we are hearing is that the governor may join the APC to realize his reelection next year. If that happens, you know what that means to our party Obiano is the only governor we have in APGA”, the source said
Chief Jerry Obasi who is the deputy national secretary of the party said the suspension was necessary to save the party from imminent self destruction and reposition it for greatness.

upko1: Lol! Maybe the thunder is not a reliable jet, throwing shades at nemesis won't un-crash the jet. Three crashes in one year speaks a lot, or would you rather have Nigeria procure a crappy airframe? They(the Chinese and Pakistanis) need to investigate and correct any flaws found before shipping it to Nigeria. am not throwing shades at him.wen even a single aircraft crashes it has to investigated another to prevent any other crash. but y bring to our notice that 2 other has also crashed |

nemesis2u: it looks like a JF17 crashed in the Arabian sea. no official confirmation though.
it will be the 3rd crash for JF17 in PAF service if true.
The fact that the mission was being flown out of Karachi indicates that the air-frame belonged to the no2. Squadron (Minhas), which operates the recently inducted JF17 block 2. news blackout from PAF sources , but the news broke out because a british airlines flying overhead picked up a distress signal and reported to the authorities. now SAR operations are on.
@henry240 came to know that Nigeria is set to sign deal in November for JF17 atleast its better dan ur 30+ years old tejas jets |

ActivateKruger: To add. The Griffin is still the only fighter I know of that has the ability to add new capabilities just by receiving over-the-air updates without adding any new hardware. It's the same ability that allowed the Tesla Model S to add autopilot features while packed in people's garages.
So a Gripen 5 years later will have more capabilities without adding any physical gadget.... Now that's more bang for our Rands. over the air update? wot a good tool for Russian hackers. |

patches689: Brazil's deal is expensive because it is for the latest Gripen which is a whole generation ahead.
It also includes funds for the development of the "sea-gripen" for their carrier.
The fact that people are willing to pay so much for the Gripen shows that it is not over-rated. and wots ur excuse for d Botswanan price. |

tdayof: J20 - It has the DSI ducts from the F-35 - It has the twin engine configuration of the F-22 - It has the Canted vertical trapezoidal tail of the F-22 - The wing uses the F-35A style configuration, but is closer to the F-35C in size - The rear horizontal tail uses the F-35A design - The rear exhaust nozzoles are standard turkey feather style designs that are on most 4th gen fighters - The internal bomb bay is reminiscent of the F-22 - The canopy is very similar to the F-35, but made with a two piece design instead of a single bubble canopy - The overall size is even very similar to the F-35C
Henry240 Chinese pentagon files at work
If DSI was used for F22 it won't be able to reach mach 2. so u believe d Chinese can hack into Pentagon and steal sensitive file of d F22 n F35 but didn't steal d d engines blueprints or file, dis really funny |
