Pls she should disregard my advise as you say, but you should know that every person is faulted, nobody is without flaws. His mistakes can be corrected, at least he's not an abusive person. She is hitting on her boyfriend not caring for her, and nor giving get money, she could explain or have a heart to heart talk with her guy after all he has a heart and not a stone. He could see his mistakes and correct hiself.

What makes you think the other person she might jumped to next is all perfect?

I'm only giving advise based on what I've experienced. If it sounds foolish by all means she should adhere to people that advice her to leave her bf.

I'm in your shoes, my own is pretty worst. I have been dating my bf close to 6 years now. We are both young and he doesn't have much money to give me. I beg from people to get by sometimes. There's this guy that has been bothering me for 5 years for a date, he's rich, handsome and has finished schooling, now working on his own.

I was pressured to date him, every body won't let me rest. But my heart wasn't convinced, I later learnt he was a first degree liar, deceiver, playboy.

I thank God I never gave him a chance, that would be how I would have broken my relationship and jumped into fire.

O.p be contented with your bf, don't leave him for that guy cos the devil you dont know is better than the angel you know.

Leaving him for any reason is sensible, but dumping him for that guy is not. What do you know much about that guy? What is the point of attraction, is it his money or what?

Pray for God to change your bf, he's a good guy and I can bet he's caring as well.

I love my bf, I've come to appreciate him cos of his personality and manner of guy he is. No guy I've seen has his attributes, he's so caring, understanding and selfless.

We need the pre-sex and kissing pictures or we won't take it.

We also need the bathroom pictures of both of you to know if you guys are meant to be together.

Thanks so much for the contributed comments, now I know nairaland is truly an online family. I'm grateful and lost of words for the kind advice I have gotten.

Today I went outside to weed the compound, had small conversations with my neighbors(it was hard) and slept all through the morning, just waking up now and logging in to nairaland and I saw those that gave me mentions.

Thanks a lot, I appreciate. One step at a time and i'll learn to associate myself with people.

Ginaz you aren't TOO introverted, you are too reserved. I could explain the difference if you want. You can't change your introversion, but how reserved you are depends on you. You don't think anyone could understand you because you don't give them a chance to.

Never mind the suggestions to go to parties or clubs. If you force it, you'd get drained faster than you can make a new friend there.

Introvert or extrovert, we all have a social need, just that introversion makes one alot more selective. There's a thread for introverts somewhere. You'd be surprised how many persons are like you in many ways. I'd mention you there.

I hate social gathering or activities with passion. I just like to be with myself...

My dear, people tend to take us like an outcast cos we live inside our head everyday. I feel out of place in a gathering and I find it very hard to express myself. Going out of my house is like war, I so much enjoy my company that when someone calls to tell me they want to visit me I lie or make excuses I'm not at home. Or if they come sef, I will be praying they go quickly.

They take advantage of it a lot, everybody knows I will be at home so all the errands are on my head. I just feel angry when my family doesn't understand I like being alone, I don't have to be in your gathering to have fun. I have fun in my head. They look me like I'm not mentally OK, which gets me very mad and more indoors. I didn't go to my cousins marriage, lol. I told them to leave me aloneeee.

I love my novels, my sleep, my space, my head. If I get married one day how do I cope?

I can relate to your personality. It's obvious that you're a highly sensitive person not necessary an introvert. However, out of prejudice, petty people will always mistake you for a miserable, evil, rude and gutless person, whereas in reality you're a direct opposite of all such negativities they held against you - anyone who have had the rare privilege to earn your close association will testify your goodness. You abhor hypocrisy, right?

What are the things you like to do? find someone who is equally interested. Seeing a movie, talking about stuffs you both like, exchanging learning materials, it's a start.

Just last month I took interest in sewing, so it's a start. I go out to see some friends but it's just business and I go home. Lol, no long talk just business.

I can relate somewhat to what you are saying.I have periods when i actually enjoy my own company , i am not lonely nor am i alone.People are different that is what makes us unique and interesting. The unfortunate thing is our society has expectations when it comes to gender. Do you have a friend(s)? it is not mandatory either. Its about getting a balance going out when its perhaps not too busy , and it does not have to be at parties either. There is NOTHING abnormal about preferring your own company. We are not clones.Embrace your individuality focus on your career life is not a race its a journey.

people differ, situations differ, not all roads are broad and straight. I'm very friendly, people always say I have a pure heart. Just that I prefer being alone to myself if I could. I like entertainments, fun, and everything that makes a human feel good. My body just shuts it out though it loves it. My friends have to beg me to leave the house sometimes, it's that bad.

Whenever I plan to go out I panic, visiting someone I panic also. Only person I can go out with is my very good male friend, apart from him I stay indoors 24/7. Once I make friendship with someone they always wants more from me which automatically makes me more introverted especially if the said person is too loud and likes outing a lot. I prefer a quiet place, nice small fun with just very few crowd. I can talk eh, I talk a lot lol. That's why people wonder really I can talk.
