A corps member who was admitted for 5 days at a hospital in Imo State after she was ‘knocked’ down by malaria, went on to show a rare act of kindness to a lady detained at the hospital after a miscarriage.

According to corps member Funmilola Adeniyi, she noticed that the lady who had a miscarriage had no visitor and slept on the cold floor at night as her husband failed to settle her hospital bill. Read her post below;

October was a remarkable month…mid of the month I was admitted in this hospital somewhere in owerri, imo state diagnosed with acute malaria and serious typhoid, was there for 5 days but during these days I noticed this woman in the pictures she say beside my bed with her chair 24/7 no food, nobody coming to visit her always looking, sleeping on the cold floor at night after everyone might have slept, she will just remove her chair and sleep beside my bed on the floor. After the 3rd day, I saw the way a nurse talked to her very insulting, I pitied her later in the day I called another nurse to ask what happened to this woman and she said “haa my Yoruba friend, this woman gave birth and lost her baby after 4 days of bleeding and she and her husband doesn’t have money to settle the bills. So the doctor didn’t allow her go for 2 months now he said until they pay the money” n I said you mean this woman has been going through this for 2months, Father!!

I felt very bad and I asked how much is her bill and she said her bill is #45000 dat d doc gave them that cause of their condition, my friend was with me in the hospital (the guy in the picture wearing yellow attire) and he said Funmi let’s take this woman out of this hospital, I said I want to but we are corpers and I’ve spent alot at the hospital. He said don’t worry we will do it. I left the hospital very weak, reached out to few friends and we were able to get the money, we got more than enough sef, we were able to pay her bills, bought her food stuffs, the doctor (the man on left carrying the foodstuffs) was very happy surprised that nobody has ever challenged him and collected #30000 instead of #45000. We bought her foodstuffs, her husband (the other dark man in the picture) was so happy and grateful and we gave them extra cash to take home to get somethings…

Grateful to God for this opportunity to put a smile on people’s face. The doctor said ‘Funmi don’t worry God brought you here to help this woman, so don’t worry no more weakness”. No man is indispensable cos if I don’t another man will. Happy for the priviledge

A 79-year-old Chinese woman, who begs at Hangzhou East Railway Station, has been exposed as a wealthy woman, who merely enjoys begging.

According to Global Times, the woman is well-off, has a family, who cares for her but prefers to beg. So, the railway resorted to broadcasting a message, telling passengers not to give her money.

“An elderly woman in the station uses her age to win sympathy. Her family financial situation is quite good, so please don’t fall for it,” said the broadcast played on repeat.

The woman’s son, who was identified as Zhang Ming confirmed that she was a woman, who owns houses and has savings.

Zhang told a local paper Metropolitan Express that his family makes money from numerous rental properties and a factory, which he runs.

“I serve her delicious meals every day. But she just insists on going out to beg,” he said. “In terms of money, she is a lot richer than most of the people here. She has savings in a few banks around here.”

Railway staff have appealed to local police, who deferred taking action.

The 79-year-old woman reportedly started off by selling maps at the railway station, but the management there disapproved of her little side hustle, so she started begging instead.

She reportedly arrives at the station every morning at 10am and doesn’t leave until 8pm. According to some sources, she makes around 300 yuan per day.

Railway staff hope that the broadcast will ruin her panhandling prospects, force her to give up and go back home.

A 22-year-old girl, identified as Sandra snatched a Toyota RAV4 2011 model SUV belonging to her Facebook lover car at gun point.

The man who lives in Oganiru Estate complex, Awka, Anambra State was lured out by the girl while they were chatting each other, using the Facebook messenger.

Sandra with a gang of three armed men, lured her victim to St Vincent Primary School, Ogidi, Idemili North local government area.

Instead of the love both of them professed to each other, the 30 year old victim, who is said to be a businessman was pounced on by three armed men who dispossessed him of his vehicle, while the girl joined them to flee, leaving the ‘lover man’ victim stranded.

Police Public Relations Officer of Anambra State police command, SP Haruna Mohammed revealed that the vehicle was, however, recovered after police in the area mobilised and went after the robbers. He said;

“Following the incident, Police Patrol team attached to Ogidi Division in conjunction with vigilante group quickly mobilized to the scene and pursued the suspects who later abandoned the stolen vehicle and escaped into the bush.

“Case is under investigation and efforts are ongoing to apprehend fleeing suspects.”

Just some few weeks ago, a viral sex tape of Lagos pastor, Apostle Chris Kevwe Omatsola, caused uproar across social media and it was claimed that the tape was released by a phone repairer.

However, according to a new report by a lady identified as Rita Egwu on Facebook, the pastor allegedly released the sex tape just to spite the lady involved in the video, who happened to be his ex-girlfriend and he wanted her back at all cost.

The pastor was also reported to be violent and repeatedly abused the victim physically before they finally decided to end the relationship.

I met Apostle Chris Kevwe Omatsola, an author, the founder and presiding pastor of Zionwealth of Life Assembly (Zola) in Lekki, Lagos and we started dating in February 2018. It quickly escalated to become a sexual relationship and when we had sex the first time, he told me he was human to have such feelings inspite of the fact that he was a pastor and because he was madly in love with me, we should make it right by getting married.

I was in love and was ready to do anything for him. We continued our romance and one of the things we did together was recording videos and taking pictures of our intimacy.

I informed my mum about a guy coming for my hand in marriage and she said was going to pray about it. Everything was rosy until he became violent and constantly beat me up till I bled (I have pictures of my bruises).

He came begging after each episode and I forgave him because I thought I was in love. The vicious cycle continued (He would beat me, come back pleading, and I would accept him back).

Fast forward to late July, there was no response from my mum about bringing him to her as my intended spouse. I was also beginning to develop cold feet about the relationship as the violence increased.

He was very temperamental and we had series of altercations which eventually degenerated to more beatings. In August, I called off the relationship and I was surprised he accepted it in good faith initially given his penchant for violence. We agreed to remain friends, but he just wouldn’t let go…crying, begging and prostrating on many occasions.

Sometime in August, he asked that we meet up to talk on platonic grounds. After sometime during the meeting, he got really hostile with me upon realizing that I had moved on and wasn’t interested in making out with him.

He also refused to drop me off at home. He beat me up, seized my phone, forced me to unlock it and retrieved a lot of contacts from it just to track who I was seeing. That was the final straw for me so I never saw him again till September when he showed up at my place, crying and begging. I refused to fall for his tricks this time and there was no further communication from both sides till sometime early October when he apologized yet again for all what he did.

On the 13th of October, he contacted me with an anonymous number via WhatsApp with pictures, videos and threat messages saying if I didn’t come back to him he was going to release everything. I profusely pleaded with him and also called everyone I knew to help beg him.

A family friend called him and he promised he wasn’t going to release them, that he was just angry with me, he was trying to get my attention and hopefully win me back. I was calm after hearing this about 12noon that day.

Shockingly, at about 7pm that same day, I started getting calls from all my contacts about my nudes (pictures and videos) circulating all over the internet. A strange number also sent them to me via WhatsApp….my friends, my family and everyone on my contact list (recall he forcefully got the contacts from me in August). He even sent them to the same family friend who had earlier called to plead with him!

He was arrested the next day and didn’t deny posting the pictures and videos (there is a recording to this effect). According to him, he activated WhatsApp on someone’s number (a former girlfriend of his) and used the number to send the pictures and videos to my contacts and his church WhatsApp group.

This went viral in a matter of minutes. Before he was arrested, a distraught me contacted him to ask why he eventually released them after he had promised not to. He said that now that my pictures and videos were out there, no man would want to look my way again, that it was best we got married and informed the world that we are a couple and its our business.

After the arrest, in the presence of his Dad, he yet again confessed to releasing the pictures and videos himself and admitted he was wrong. He apologized to myself, my family, his family and the general public. This was recorded 19th October 2018 and I am in possession of this video. He even accepted to pay for damages. We accepted his apology and thought we had laid this to rest.

We woke up Sunday morning (28th October 2018) only to discover that he had released yet another video, recanted his previous apology and claimed that the recording of the nudes and pictures happened when he was an unbeliever in the world.

He even shed crocodile tears during the recording to make him appear like he was the victim. Chris and I started dating in February 2018 and the recording of nudes was done during the relationship (Feb 2018 – Aug 2018). There are currently posts from his church blog on the internet dated as far back as December 16th 2014 (http://zolanigeria..com/…/zola-raising-zolite-army.…) which is proof that the church had been in existence for some time.

So how could we have recorded the videos when he was in the world, when we only met and started dating February this year and he had been a pastor long before we met? When exactly was he in the world

I was wrong to have been involved in premarital sex with a pastor. I was wrong to have allowed him persuade me to record our intimate moments. I was wrong to have continued dating a violent man. I have been having sleepless nights thinking about the consequences of all I did and wondering how to get past this, how to move on. My family and friends see me differently.

A lot of people look at me and whisper when they see me pass. I have been fielding questions from my colleagues. I hope that this will pass soon.

Apostle Chris Kevwe Omatsola is an unremorseful vengeful liar and a psychopath who will not stop until he destroys me and I have no clue what he wants from me. My only offence is that I refused to continue to be abused physically, verbally and emotionally and called off our violent relationship. I moved houses when he started stalking me and he still managed to locate my new place. I have waived anonymity and come out to refute all his lies.

I fear for my life and that of my family and friends who are supporting me. I feel helpless and vulnerable and I don’t know what his next move will be.

Michael Essien’s wife, Akosua Puni has reportedly packed out of their home in London over his alleged affair with actress Princess Shyngle.
According to GhanaCelebrities.com, Micheal Essien’s wife Akosun Puni moved out of the former Chelsea star’s home in London and may start divorce proceedings soon.

Akosua Puni, the report stated, is angry with the former Black Stars midfielder for cheating on her with the actress.
It will be recalled that the Gambian actress recently disclosed Essien to be one of her ex-boyfriends.

In an interview with Delay, Shyngle revealed that she had about seven ex-boyfriends and the former Chelsea midfielder was one of them.
The revelation had come in response to a question on Shyngle’s claim that 99.9% of her previous boyfriends could not satisfy her in bed.

Though the actress failed to give a timeline for their relationship, her admission that she once kissed Michael Essien at the Checkers Pub in Accra suggested their relationship was after Essien’s marriage to Akosua, which is about five years old.

Meanwhile, Essien is not the only popular footballer who is having troubles in his marriage as Asamoah Gyan seems to be in the same soup.
The current Black Stars captain Gyan has filed a suit at a high court in Accra, seeking to leave his marriage of five years.

The body of the missing Army General, Retired Major General Idris Alkali has been found, reports Channels Television.

The remains of the retired officer were discovered in Guchwet in Shen of Jos South LGA of Plateau State.

A Honey moon couple have told of the terrifying moment their plane dropped out of the sky and crashed into trees during a volcano sightseeing tour over the Pacific islands of Vanuatu.

Jason Fox (30) and 26-year-old wife Sally escaped unharmed from the wreckage of the single-engine Cessna after it hit a line of trees 100 metres short of a grass runway while returning to the main island.

One of two Australian tourists in the aircraft suffered a suspected broken ankle and had to be helped away from the scene by Mr Fox.

The plane was left embedded nose-first in a woodland, badly damaged and with one of its doors hanging off.

In a video filmed on his phone at the crash scene Mr Fox, who was visibly shaken and still wearing his life jacket, said: ‘So, we’ve just been in a plane crash and I’m not joking.

‘We were flying back from a volcano trip over the islands of Vanuatu and on our way back the engine failed. Thankfully we were flying past an island... so fate... I didn’t believe in it before but I kind of do now... having an island next to us, otherwise we would have been in the sea.’

Veteran Nollywood actress, Iya Rainbow has revealed how men discouraged her from getting married again after the death of her husband. While speaking with Saturday beats recently, she said:

. “I had the intention of remarrying after I lost my husband, there was even a time a man visited me in my house when we were all eating with my children and some other youths that stayed with me; he had to ask me if all the youths in my house were my children, I replied him in the affirmative. Due to my reply, he asked me a rhetorical question that insinuated he was overwhelmed with the number of children he would have to cater for when he married me. After that time, I never saw him again. After this incident, I never thought of getting married again because I was no longer interested because most of them used to lie a lot.

On remaining ageless, young and beautiful after 76, she said:

“Nobody can take care of us like God, considering the type of things we eat these days. I can’t even say how I keep up such ageless beauty but I can say I try to eat right; considering the fact that I had to take care of my children all by myself after I lost my husband. I used to take them to my mother’s place when I had to be on set; I used to go to about four locations in a day just to get some money to enable me cater for my children,” she said.

Iya rainbow, who recently got some major endorsement deals, said she never knew she would be honoured by those endorsements at that age. “I never expected all the endorsements that I have right now; I am amazed at the grace of God over my life.".
