A Nigerian lady who got ditched on a date after being abandoned by her date, took to Twitter to cry out over the 83k bill she got served by waiters of the facility she visited with her date.

The Nigerian lady who disclosed that her phone is about getting seized, added that it is too early to get involved in a drama this week. Her tweet reads;

I just got ditched by my date and the bill came in as 83k, please can someone come get me outta here it’s too early in the week for this

However since the lady is yet to reply the comments on her tweet, Twitter users have now concluded that her phone has been seized.

Eliza Reign, Haitian model who claims to be pregnant with Future’s 6th child, has disclosed that the American rapper wants an abortion.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the model who claims to be pregnant with Future’s 6th child disclosed that she had an on and off affair with the American rapper for 2-years. The model who disclosed that Future asked her to get an abortion, added that he threatened to harm her if she doesn’t.

“Eventually I found out I was pregnant and I let him know,” her statement reads in part. “He obviously wasn’t happy about it but wasn’t very forceful strong about getting rid of it either. However, he asked me to have an abortion. I thought seriously about it but waited a few weeks.”

“I got the courage to basically inform Him that I didn’t go through with the procedure and decided to keep the child,” she continues. “He went ballistic! Having members of his camp call me and friends come by my job asking about me. It got so bad, Out of fear, I started to slow down on working.”

Regina Askia-Williams (born Imaobong Regina Askia Usoro, Lagos, 1967) is a Nigerian-born, American-based family nurse practitioner (FNP), healthcare and educational activist, television producer, writer, and public speaker, who found fame as an actress and model.

In 1988, Askia-Williams – a former Medical student who had transferred from the University of Calabar to the University of Lagos – was crowned Miss Unilag. That same year, she competed in the MBGN 1988 contest. Though she was the crowds favorite contestant as well as the outgoing Miss Intercontinental, Joan Maynard, she placed second. However, she became titleholder the following year when winner Bianca Onoh resigned. In 1990, Askia-Williams represented Nigeria at Miss Charm International held in Leningrad, Russia, and came second.[4] She also made history by becoming the first Nigerian at Miss International in Japan, where she made an impact with the most outstanding traditional costume.

After gaining public recognition in Nigeria as a beauty pageant winner, Askia-Williams began a modelling career. As a model, Askia-Williams appeared in several Nigerian print and television commercials including Kessingsheen Hair Care, boutique chain Collectibles, and most famously, Visine. She also worked on several runway shows. In 2007, she modelled for the 2000-N-Six face cleansing range alongside her daughter, model Stephanie Hornecker.[5] In 2005 she hosted a fashion show at the Nigerian Embassy in New York City to raise awareness for the plight of children's social amenities in Nigeria, and in 2006, she hosted a charity fashion show at Lehman College in the Bronx, New York, which displayed the creations of top African designers and her own label Regine Fashions.[6]

Askia-Williams's acting break came in 1993, when she played gold-digger Tokunbo Johnson in Nigerian soap Fortunes (later Mega Fortunes) on NTA Network, a role which earned her critical acclaim and roles in Nollywood movies. She has received several awards for her performances – including one for "Best Actress in Nigeria" by Afro Hollywood London in 2000 – and has produced several television shows and films.

Askia-Williams starred in several "Nollywood" films during the 1990s and early 2000s, most of which were filmed to be released directly to video, reaching a wide audience in Nigeria and elsewhere in Africa such as Tanzania and Ghana. She became one of Nigeria's biggest acting celebrities.[7] Askia-Williams' films, and other Nollywood films are regularly broadcast by Nigerian television networks, including ITV, StarTV, and the state broadcaster TVT.[8] Askia-Williams was compared to Elizabeth Taylor for her fame, and was paid around N300,000 for a starring role, on par with other top Nigerian actresses.

Actress, Efe Irele, shocked many people at this year’s City People Movie Awards where she got the awards for Best Upcoming Actress and Best New Actress. Some people have also questioned the credibility of the awards ceremony, claiming that organisers only gave awards to entertainers who were willing to pay.

However, in an encounter with Sunday Scoop, Irele rubbished the claims that she might have paid for the two awards. She said, “If anyone says that I lobbied for an award, my best reply is for them to see my body of works. Within three years, I have featured in over 40 movies; so, my works speak for me. People will always say whatever they like, but I know who I am and I know I didn’t pay any money for the awards.”

The graduate of Bowen University, Iwo, stated that she didn’t expect to win two awards on the night. She added, “The feeling was out of this world. When I was called on stage for the first award, I was shocked. Inasmuch as I have been working hard, I didn’t know people were paying attention to me. As I speak to you, I still feel I have only done little as an actress. After collecting the first award, I was actually preparing to leave. But while I was being interviewed, I was called again. At first, I didn’t hear my name; it was when people started looking towards my direction and screaming my name that I realised I had won another award. I couldn’t hold back tears. The two awards have motivated me to want to do more.”

Zimbabwe’s ex-leader Robert Mugabe is in Singapore for medical care and now unable to walk because of ill health and old age, President Emmerson Mnangagwa said on Saturday.

Mnangagwa told his ZANU-PF party supporters at a rally that the 94-year-old Mugabe had been receiving medical care in Singapore for the past two months.

“He (Mugabe) is now old. Of course, he now is unable to walk but whatever he asks for we will provide,” Mnangagwa told hundreds of supporters in Mugabe’s home area of Zvimba, about 100 km (60 miles) west of the capital Harare.

“We are looking after him. He is the founding father of the nation of Zimbabwe. He is our founding father of free Zimbabwe.”

He said Mugabe was expected back in the country at the end of this month.

“He should have been back on October 25 but his health was not yet good,” Mnangagwa said.

“But yesterday we got a message that he thinks he is getting better. He will come back on 30 November.”

This month marked a year after Mugabe was toppled in a brief military intervention to end his 37-year grip on power.

Mnangagwa took over from Mugabe and was elected in disputed July 30 elections. He has vowed to revive Zimbabwe’s ailing economy by attracting much needed foreign direct investment.

The name Ebun Oloyede might not readily ring a bell but once the pseudonym, Igwe Olaiya is mentioned, then a popular Yoruba actor with tribal marks comes to mind.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, the actor described his tribal marks as a problem for him, adding that he was glad he was not a professional footballer.

“These tribal marks happen to be a problem. As you are looking at me, I do not have the privilege to be a footballer but if I were one, I would not have been able to play professionally because of these tribal marks. They would believe that you had surgery and you would be banned from playing. Our parents thought it was part of our culture but it was an uncivilised act. What they did was not something good.

“They believed that with the marks on my face, people would be able to identify my lineage but they were fooling themselves. How would they have known if my father had sex with his housemaid and she gave birth to me but his wife decided not to make a fuss about it? Yet people would believe that I am from that lineage. Tribal marks are not a DNA, many people might not agree with me but I know what I am talking about. However, there is nothing I can do about it,” he said.

He, however, added that he had grown used to the marks but vowed never to give his children any tribal marks.

He said, “I travel abroad but I cannot go and do surgery to remove them. In fact, when I started travelling abroad, I saw a lot of people with more visible tribal marks than I have. I do not see it as a big deal anymore but I can never put it on my children’s face because of what I went through.”

The Ondo State Police Command have arrested one Moses Olaniyi, for allegedly killing a 70-year-old woman, Medinat Ala, and carting away with vital organs of her body in her room at Okeegbe area of Ikare Akoko in Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State.

According to reports, Madam Ala was found dead by neighbors on Wednesday morning, November 21st. Her breast, womb and private part, were cut off by the suspected ritualists.

One of the neighbors of the deceased said;

“The deceased was clubbed to death with a pestle by the ritualists in the early hours of Wednesday and a neighbour, who was trying to rescue her, was almost killed by the ritualists. The neighbour was living in the house with the late Medinat Ala; she woke up when she heard strange voices in the deceased’s room; and as she was trying to go into the room, one of the ritualists hit her with a pestle on the head. She was rushed to the hospital. “

Her remains was later deposited in the morgue of the Ondo State Specialists Hospital, Ikare Akoko.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, Femi Joseph, said the killing was perfectly done because the assailants opened the door to the deceased’s room and after the dastardly act; they closed the door and left the house.

“We have arrested one person and we have begun our investigation. We shall get to the root of the matter,” he said.
