"These two women were beaten and battered by police officers attached to Lafenwa Divisional Police Headquarters, Lafenwa, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, last week Thursday while coming from the market where they do their buying and selling. The most unfortunate aspect of this dehumanizing acts was that instead of the DPO to investigate the matter and take appropriate actions again the animals among his men, he wanted to sweep the whole thing under the carpet by giving them N3,000 to go and take care of themselves. Some how, the women got in touch with a renounced journalist (name withheld) and the whole issue is now made public.

We implore the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Zonal Commander, Zone 2 and the Inspector General of Police to use their offices to put these police officers to book and get these women good medical care and financial compensation for losses they have incurred as a result of not being able to go to the market for their trading activities since the time this sad and inhuman incident occurred.

Please help rebroadcast till it gets to the CP, Ogun State, Zone 2 Zonal Commander and the IGP.

A teenage girl is auctioning off her virginity to pay her parents’ mortgage and also sponsor herself through university.

The 18-year-old from Sydney set up the website using the pseudonym Siena Payton shortly after birthday last month. She hopes to raise close to $100,000 to offset the bill.

So far she has received two bids, one for £570 ($1,000 AUS) and one for £5,709 ($10,000 AUS), but she hopes to raise more, The Sun UK reports.

She said:

“That’s not my goal amount. I’m hoping for $100,000.”

Payton said she got the idea after seeing news stories online about supposed “virginity auctions” where some young women claimed to have made millions of dollars.

She said:

“I’ve been thinking about it for a long time and I thought I would give it a go.

“I thought it’s best to do it now, later on I might meet someone and I don’t want to have to wait for my first time because I’m still waiting to sell my virginity.”

Payton, who hopes to study IT at the University of Technology Sydney, said it wasn’t a big deal to her and she sees it as an opportunity to get financial help.

She said:

“I just need some quick financial help and I think it’ll give me a good boost to help pay for uni fees, I know you have to buy a lot of textbooks.

“Also a car, and I can help my parents pay off their mortgage and pay bills.”

She said she had applied on the website but the process was “very tedious and long” so she pulled out, which she now realised was a “good decision as something could’ve gone wrong”.

She reached out to another woman for advice, a 22-year-old student from Brazil who told media in August she was auctioning her virginity for £740,000 ($1.3million AUS).

Payton said she didn’t want to ask her parents, who are originally from South America, for any financial help and would “probably” never tell them.

Speed Darlington’s brother and son of late singer and masquerade legend, Ichie Mezuo Okoye, Arusi Makaja 1 of Arondizuogu a.k.a Pericoma, was reportedly involved in a ghastly car accident today.

Speed Darlington’s brother who was the only occupant of the car, reportedly lost control of the car he was driving before crashing it along a road in Arondizogu Amaudo area of Imo state. It was gathered that he survived the accident with minor injuries and rushed to the hospital for treatement.

Recall that few months ago, Speed Darlington revealed he is the son of late folk singer, Chief Pericoma Okoye.. This came as a shock to lots of his fans. He wrote;

Wizkid’s bodyguard identified as Roy Emmanuel, escaped being macheted to death at a club in Lagos on Thursday, 15th of November, 2018 while defending his boss.

It was gathered that the incident occurred shortly after Wizkid’s bodyguard waded into an argument at club DNA, which denied that the Nigerian music star bought the Lamborghini Urus he recently showed off on Instagram.

Those present at the club claimed that Wizkid was owing the club millions of Naira for drinks bought on credit, and so couldn’t afford to buy a car. However Roy who defended his boss, further stated that Wizkid will clear his debt when he returns to the country.

The heated argument reportedly left him butchered by a suspect who fled immediately. The suspect who is currently on the run, is said to be a bouncer at the club. Wizkid’s bodyguard who was seen talking to the owner shortly after the incident, was reportedly rushed to an undisclosed hospital where is currently recuperating.

The Police in Enugu State have arrested a 21-year-old student for allegedly killing her baby soon after delivery.

The spokesman for the Police Command in Enugu State, SP Ebere Amaraizu, in a statement on Sunday said the suspect (name withheld) allegedly carried out the action at Royal Lodge, Agbani, Nkanu West Local Government Area, on Saturday.

“It was gathered that the mother of the late infant was said to have given birth to the baby on November 17 and allegedly killed the child immediately after birth inside her room before the arrival of neighbours.

“It was further gathered that the cry of a baby was heard in the suspect’s room, which attracted neighbours to her room, but they could not gain access until they forced themselves in.

“The neighbours only discovered after gaining access into the room that the baby that was delivered had been allegedly killed by the mother,’’ he said.

Amaraizu said that full scale investigation had commenced into the incident, adding that the suspect was helping the Police in their investigations.

“The dead body of the baby was also recovered by the policemen,’’ he said.

Alleged billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, alias Evans, has maintained his claim that he was tortured by the Police to make what they term his confessional statement.

He countered the claim by the Police that his statement was obtained under a fair atmosphere, and that the statement could have been taken in the presence of a lawyer, if Evans had hired one.

At the Friday proceedings in his trial before Justice Adedayo Akintoye at the Lagos State High Court in Igbosere, Evans said human rights lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), at the time, came to the Police station to see him, but the Police thwarted the meeting by locking him (Evans) up in a toilet.

Evans said immediately after he was arrested by the Police in 2017, his wife, Uchenna, contacted the human rights lawyer, but upon the lawyer’s visit to the Police station, he was told that he (Evans) had been taken out for investigation.

Evans claimed to have heard, from inside the toilet where he was allegedly locked up, how Falana and the Lagos Coordinator of the Inspector-General of Police Response Team, one CSP Phillip, exchanged pleasantries upon the lawyer’s arrival at Phillip’s office.

He said after being told that he had been taken out for investigation, Falana warned the Police not to come back and claim that the suspect had been shot while trying to escape.

Led in evidence by his lawyer, Mr. Olanrewaju Ajanaku, Evans, who was all tears, insisted that he was forced to put his signature to an already prepared confessional statement by men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad who had allegedly murdered several suspects in his presence “in Saddam Hussein style.”

He said, “Immediately after my arrest, my wife called Mr. Femi Falana and he came to SARS.

“But CSP Phillip told two armed policemen to hide me inside the office toilet and to tell the lawyer that I was not around.

“I heard Phillip greet him, ‘Good afternoon, sir,’ and Mr. Falana said he wanted to see me. CSP Phillip told Mr. Falana that I had been taken out for investigation.

“Mr. Falana warned him that he did not want to hear that I had been taken for investigation only to be shot dead.

“He said he didn’t want to hear that I was trying to escape and then I was shot dead. He told them that if I had committed any offence, I should be charged to court.”

Under cross-examination by the prosecuting counsel for the state, Mr. Y.G. Oshoala, Evans maintained that his statement was not voluntarily made.

Justice Akintoye adjourned further proceedings in the case till December 10.
