Unfortunately Mercy alongside Sir Dee and Khafi were disqualified for not impressing Biggie by their performance and she bust into tears.

The winner of 'Pepsi Know Da Lyrics challenge' will get 1.5 million naira and a VVIP ticket for the Pepsi One Africa Music Fest in Dubai.

Ubi Franklin replies critics attacking claims of him not being responsible for TBoss' pregnancy

Ubi Franklin is staying unbothered, in spite of critics deflecting his claim of not being responsible for TBoss' pregnancy.

Recall we reported yesterday that the music executive had in the interview with Daddy Freeze disclosed that he never planned having his kids with different women, and would have loved to have them all under same roof. He also denied claims of being responsible for TBoss' pregnancy, while stating he doesn't even know where she lives in Abuja.

A Biological Science student of the Federal Univeristy of Technology, Owerri, ( FUTO) has been arrested after an alleged failed attempt to use one of his colleagues for money ritual (Yahoo plus).

The incident happened overnight at a hostel, Bliss Mansion, in Umuchima, Imo State. During interrogation, the suspect revealed that he decided to take the action so that his “Yahoo” involvement can start going smoothly.

Recounting how he managed to survive, the victim, identified as Daniel, said: “He called me, at night, appealing to me to allow him sleep over at my place and I sent him my address.

When he arrived, he told me how he was arrested by the police. He said he doesn't want more troubles, so he decided to lie low at my place.
.
.
Some minutes past 12:00am, he came to the bed telling me that the music I was playing was disturbing him because he hasn't slept for about two days. .
.
Suddenly he started chanting incarnations. I initially thought it was funny, until he started asking me why I haven't slept off yet. I told him I would sleep when the time comes, although secretly, I was praying. .
.
At 2:00am he started beating me up and when I was shouting, he told me that no one can hear my voice. I struggled with him for so long, destroying the properties in my room.

At 2:30am, my lodge mates started coming to my rescue and by God's grace, I could open the door for them. He also told me that his plan was that in the morning, he would collect money.”

Ayomikun Juliana, a corps member serving in Osogbo, Osun State, has died after allegedly applying popular insecticide, Sniper, to her hair to kill the lice troubling her.

It was gathered that she had gone to a salon, where it was discovered that her hair was infested with lice. On getting home, Juliana decided to get rid of them with Sniper.

Upon application, she allegedly covered her hair with a cap and slept off. However, the following morning, she was rushed to the hospital but never survived.

Rape allegation: CAN disowns COZA pastor

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) says the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) whose senior pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo, is currently enmeshed in a rape scandal, is not one of its members. This comes a day after the Pentecoastal Fellowship of Nigeria PFN released a statement saying Fatoyinbo is not their member.

Biodun Fatoyinbo was recently accused of rape by wife of singer Timi Dakolo, Busola.

In a statement released by Kwamkur Vondip, the National director, legal and public affairs of the Christian body, CAN says it is troubled by the recent reports of sexuual assault leveled against some of the clergymen in Nigeria. The body advised Pastors to desist from having unregulated closeness with any member of his/her church so as not to make themselves vulnerable. Read the statement below

“CAN is deeply concerned about the ongoing rape allegation saga arising from a confessional statement by a former female member of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Mrs. Bisola Dakolo, against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the senior pastor of COZA.

The association recognises that COZA, to the best of our knowledge, is not a member of any of the families that belong to CAN. CAN, as an association, it is equally sad that there have been recurrent allegations of rape and infidelity against some gospel ministers and other Christians as well.

While efforts must be made to get to the root of the matter through thorough investigation, the association condemns totally, any act of infidelity either by a pastor or any member of the church of God. We urge all ministers of the gospel to shun all appearances of evil especially, unregulated closeness to persons in the church. Rape by every standard is sinful and an act of wickedness.

We do not know for sure whether or not some or all of the allegations of rape and illicit relationship leveled against members of the clergy are true; we strongly appeal to all Christians to avoid blackmail against any brother or sister in the church for whatever reason. All of us must avoid making ourselves vulnerable.

The association understands the challenges of preachers who, by virtue of their position as parents of all in the church, may stand the danger of being accused. All Christians, leaders most especially, must be circumspect in the way they walk, not as unwise but as wise.

CAN recognises that this must be a very trying time for the ladies who leveled allegations against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo and on the other ministers whose stories are trending presently.

The association equally recognises that this is a very hard time for the Christian church in Nigeria, especially for worshipers in COZA and all other churches whose pastors are accused.”
