Ko buru. What apostle is telling you is that you can't attack someone with the anointing and go scot-free. Even I that is not rich or popular, those who ever stepped on my toe had sad stories to tell. From a sadistic lecturer to stupid employers. Not all Nigerians are in love with their oppressors... Some just need the kind of "push" that a Sowore promises. There is nothing to love about the present crop of leaders/rulers in Nigeria.

He's definitely of a different class and orientation from someone like Nnamdi Kanu, hence i urge the government to grant him his freedom, as a warning to desist from such in the future should suffice in his own case.

The legal team of Sahara Reporters publisher, Omoyele Sowore, has rejected a possible offer by President, Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, to stand surety for the detained activist.
Suleman had in a tweet on Monday expressed concerns that though Sowore had hurt many people in the past — including Suleman himself — he is of the opinion that Sowore should not be allowed to “rot where he is.”
However, one of Sowore’s lawyers, Inibehe Effiong, told The PUNCH that Suleman was not eligible to stand surety for the detained activist.
Effiong said the court was clear that the surety must be resident in Abuja.
He further stated that the cleric had been involved in a public spat with Sowore and therefore, there was conflict of interest.
The lawyer said the challenge Sowore had was that the Federal Government had seriously politicised the matter thereby discouraging people from standing surety for his client.
Effiong, however, said he was confident that the activist would meet his bail conditions soon.
He said, “His (Suleman’s) offer cannot be considered let alone accepted. The man who is making the offer is on record of having had a public altercation with Sowore. So, there will be no basis for Sowore to consider it.
“The court stated that the surety must be resident in Abuja and the last time I checked, he was not resident in Abuja. So, I am not sure he is eligible to stand surety for him. So there is no way Sowore can accept such an offer.
“So, we are turning it down and we are not even considering it. The way the Federal Government politicised the matter, made it difficult for the bail conditions to be met. But we are in the process of perfecting the bail.”
Sowore had in a report published through his platform, accused Suleman of engaging in extra-marital affairs with a woman known as Stephanie Otobo.

The activist, who is the Convener of #RevolutionNow, was arrested by the Department of State Services on August 2, 2019, for allegedly trying to overthrow the President Muhammadu Buhari government.
The activist, who was the Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, has remained in the custody of the DSS ever since.

The National Action Committee of #RevolutionNow August 05 "Days of Rage" protest has confirmed that Omoyele Sowore, AAC National Chairman, and member of the Coalition for Revolution (CORE), has been arrested and taken away by the Department of State Security (DSS) to an unknown destination.

We are working to get more information concerning this development and to organise legal intervention to secure his immediate release. We shall provide information on further developments as it becomes available.

Sowore's arrest attests to the validity of our struggle to liberate Nigeria from the shackles of a ruling class that aims to keep NIgeria's working people under perpetual oppression. For sixty years they have kept Nigerians enslaved under their incompetent, corrupt, and irresponsible rule. Now, we the people have had enough and are ready to take back our country, to take back the political power and national wealth that rightly belong to us.

The arrest of Sowore is definite and clear evidence that they are afraid of #RevolutionNow.

This is why we must intensify our preparation. Get the word out to as many people as you can. Mobilise on your street, your campus, workplace, marketplace, bus stop, everywhere. The battle has begun. Let the mighty people of Nigeria stand for liberty and justice in this country.

They have arrested Sowore, but they cannot break our will for freedom from their oppression.

We shall not be intimidated; neither shall we be moved. We shall go ahead with our protest on August 5. We shall come out in our droves!

I wanted to have my interview in Lagos but my peeps discouraged me, telling me how Lagos NIV is plagued with rejections. Oh I remember embarking on a very risky journey on that bad road that leads to Abuja. Mhen, it was a terrible experience o. I couldn't believe I went back through the same route without having to fly back to Lagos. Just as some people think Abuja is tough, so do some people think Lagos is. So wherever your quest for visa takes you, keep calm and trust in God ...

I got the official offer (Tuition waiver + monthly stipends + 79% health insurance) from UNL yesterday but I'll be turning it down.

Already decided to go with Drexel and UNL's tardiness only strengthened my decision.

Didn't bring this up to make other expectant applicants feel bad. On the contrary, brought it up to show that schools are still typing and sending out admission offers so just hang in there guys, yours will reach you.

Congrats man! I trust your judgement... You've been on this for some time too..
