Car Talk / Re: Have You Ever Driven With Google Maps In Nigeria? by Gliding(m): 5:24pm On Dec 07, 2014
saxywale:

Sygic is not free. I think I paid $30 for it but it's worth every penny. Only thing I don't like about sygic is that it doesn't call out names of roads. Still beats google as sometimes google needs postcode for accurate navigation. Google also needs internet, if one drives to a town or on road with limited internet access, then one is fc.ukd. Google as no speed limit warning, no traffic camera warning, no rail crossing warning e.t.c unlike Sygic.
Thanks. I actually have it, I was wondering if one could download it free. Mine calls out street names though. I installed it on IOS.

@op, have u tried sygic GPS navigation? Then u will know google map is still learning. I have both but never use Google map, sygic beats its a$$ arms down. Google map is good but sygic rocks. Google maps need internet connection to work, sygic is completely offline and u will be surprised at the nooks and crannies this app knows, even gives u alternative routes allover the country, the ui is better and it even has HUD mode and the voice is better.

Is sygic free? I was asked to pay for it when I tried downloading.
Religion / Re: Christians Must Choose Between Apostle Paul And Jesus Christ - Femi Aribisala by Gliding(m): 3:33pm On Nov 30, 2014
People should read around the verses quoted. Do not read the verse alone and make conclusions.
If he claims salvation is costly, how much has he paid for it?
In the verse he referred to, Jesus was telling his followers that if they have lost something for his cause, there will be recompence - I wonder how this means they paid for their salvation.

Read, my people. Read .
Crime / Re: The Fiercest And Most Chilling Images From Political Unrests In Africa by Gliding(m): 5:21pm On Nov 22, 2014
We are a peculiar set of people. Why do we support some actions even when it is obvious that it is wrong. How can anybody justify APC calls for violence or justify 7 assembly member out of 26 impeaching a sitting speaker. How can we justify GEJ calling for the the house to reconvene and consider emergency rule extension while at the same time barricading some people including the speaker from entry.
Above all most of us have nothing to gain personally. They don't even know that some of us exist.
If the trouble really starts, none of them will be here.
Ultimately, we are the fools here. The politicians, who have no permanent enemy (as they have shown us several times) are the perennial winners.

We are playing long balls to a diminutive (short) IK Uche in front and we are allowing them to go wide once they get into our half. Which kind of coaching is this?

When did advertising become a crime? When will we wake up and ask for performance and not base our decisions on something as mundane as mode of advertisement?
