Unfortunately, this narrative has been going on for sometime now. I really don't know if this is a product of ignorance or just a way of discrediting the efforts of the administration.
---
If I may ask, how much has been recovered and how far can that solve Nigeria's problems? The FG gave aggregate bailout funds of over N500B to the states, yet that did not even scratch the problem. FG even gave another round of funds (over N500B) to states as refunds from debts over-deductions, yet it still looks like nothing is happening.
---
The fact is that most of us have no inkling about the enormity of the challenges facing the country. Sink N20Trillion into this economy today, and I can assure you we will still not make much progress (come to think of it, N20T is just equivalent to South Africa's annual budget). This country (economy) is suffering from decades of "Rape" and neglect.
---
The recovered funds is less than N200B and yet we keep talking about the FG not needing to borrow, or how it should end recession. For some reasons, you lot say nothing about how the actions of these looters progressively led to this economic state.

Finally. Some breath of fresh air. But, is it that we really don't know, or we just want to be mischievous?
You will notice that nobody has really challenged your post with facts, rather they just abuse or call you names. Just watch and see

Good Afternoon,

I need assistance of the nairalanders especially the lawyers to guide me through the process of filing a divorce and get my child back.

We got married last june and since i got married to my wife, and since then she has been displaying madness of highest order ranging from destroying my phones, laptop, tearing of money(when i give her incomplete money to buy stuff in the house),removing her clothes(completely unclad) to curse me,looking for bottles and knife to harm me,locking me out of the bedroom and so on.

I have decided to abandon her in the house since a month ago because the way her violence is going it may degenerate to a point where she may mistakenly kill me, and the ways she has been handling the my baby is very disturbing, at times she will throw the baby away just because she wants to fight me.

Please Help me on the procedure to recover my baby because she has taken the baby to her mother who lives in a very dirty environment and bad for good child up brining.

Please help

She may be suffering from some kind of psychosis. Did she have these tendencies before she delivered? Some women develop some form of postpartum psychosis. Did she have any history of such erratic behaviour during courtship?
Get a psychiatrist to evaluate her before further actions.

Pity who?

The senseless animals in Kaki that brutalised a physically challenged folk for putting on a camouflage?

The ill mannered he goats that assaulted a young lady for talking to her friend in a commercial bus?

The cursed fool that shot Mr Izu of Shooting Stars dead?

The 17th century idiots that tell people to swim in gutter for cutting their hairs Mohawk style?

The uncivilised baboons that strip nàked ladies for sagging their jeans or putting on a bum short?

You mean the power drunk bastards that brutalise motorists for overtaking their patrol vans on highways?

Why should I pity someone guilty of the things I mentioned above?

No way, I lost human feelings for NA the day I witnessed just one out the crimes they commit on daily basis.

You should support them because one should never generalise. Not all Nigerians are yahoo yahoo boys, not all igbos are 419ers, not all ijaws are kidnappers, not all yorubas are timid............... I hope you understand.

Our present economic position is purely as a result of "Cause & Effect". How on God's earth is it so hard for us to understand, the warning signs were there all along.

We all know the truth, but we are holding firm to our sentiments. It's a story of a man who frittered away his youth, but blames his children for the consequences of his actions.

Her request for 10,000$ was actually slashed to 5,500$. That's a positive in a country where, hitherto, everything went. I look forward to a day when unofficial visits are wholly funded by individuals.

Cases of Muslim girls marrying Christians are not common but they are not impossible. My neighbor a Christian married a Muslim and they keep their faiths. They are both Northerners living in the North.

I've seen Muslim girls converting to Christianity, catholicism even to get married. Though a handful when compared to the Christians I know who converted to Islam.

If you're a Christian and want to marry a Muslim girl your work is cut out for you.

About the topic, the girl is pretty. I don't expect any less.

Such marriages will increase in frequency as people become more enlightened and realise that God does not need them to fight on his behalf or keep people in a faith against their wishes or ostracise/maim them for religious reasons.
People are afraid of what will happen, hence they are afraid of change.
This applies to all religions

"The Orientation Camp clinic where the corps member was first treated has a total of 31 qualified and registered Doctors, 20 Pharmacists and 11 Nurses. There are no student Doctors as all the Doctors are fully certified by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)."

This is one wonderful lie in a long while. If we had all this personnel, we already have a General Hospital in the camp. God go punish Dalung.

We have to understand that Dalung may not be lying here. The number of MDCN registered doctors may be up to 31 as this includes all doctors posted to the state. Each state generally gets as many as 20 doctors per batch.

The question should be whether they, being young, freshly qualified doctors have the requisite experience to deal with health issues like this. I think the patient had a anaphylactic reaction (~allergy), which a young doctor may not recognise on time.
Second, did they have the required drugs in the camp clinic? Or even at the so called general hospital? I doubt it. Most times they have only antimalarials and similar drugs.

I think the minister is telling half truths, he knows many people will not understand. Would he have gone to such camp clinics for even malaria treatment?

Government is being clever by half. The dollar is not 305 Naira and we will not sell 2.2 million barrels. A significant part of the budget is to be funded by DEBT which will end up being paid for by oil.

What happens to the difference in the exchange rates .It seems this is a way by the FG to shortchange other tiers of government

We may not sell 2.2 mbpd, Dollar may be 400 Naira and above in black market. But we may sell an average of 1.9mbpd at not less that 55$ pb. The difference of at least 10$ pb compared to the buffeted price will cushion effects of your observation.

It may not be so bad after all

Bro. He banned importation of cars via land borders which we know is not efficient in collecting duties, since a large part of monies collected end up in people's pockets. Aside from that, Benin Republic, which is our main external port for importation doesn't remit funds as required, despite having had several meetings with them.
Importation via our sea ports was not banned. This ensures that revenues come to us instead of going to our neighbours. Recently, Benin Republic started experiencing economic downturn partly due to withdrawal of Nigerian imports. It tells us how large these monies can be

I don't think rare minerals are the next frontier. Rather adding value to your natural resources and technology is next. That's why apple has trounced most oil companies or other companies that deal in minerals or rare stones.

Imagine Obansajo raining animadversions on GEJ for an alleged ‘reckless’ spending, and one would think he wasn't culpable of such.

Anyway, no amount of libelous statements against GEJ can sway me, because I know and it is indelible to me that GEJ performed excellently. They attribute his success to oil price as if oil price can automatically improve the economy without good and apt economic policies in order to make optimal use of revenues. Was Nigeria the only oil producing nation when Jonathan was in power?? why was it that no other oil producing economy was able to challenge the Nigerian economy in becoming the third fastest growing economy in the world and the largest economy in africa with inflation rate at a single digit? it was clearly because of the repercussions of his apt economic policies and programmes. His policies were evaluated and rated topnotch globally by world bank and other eminent int'l and local economic institutions.

These days, the most discernible policy of the new APC government is to attack everything Jonathan. However, propaganda can only mask the truth in the short-term. It cannot destroy the truth in the medium to long-term. No matter what APC traducers say, the fact remains that Goodluck Jonathan was an exceptional president by Nigerian standards.

Babatunde Fashola, the current minister of Power, Works and Housing. At his maiden news conference, tagged grandiloquently: “Setting the Agenda for Delivering Change,” the same Fashola who spent the election campaign running down the Jonathan administration shocked his audience by revealing that, rather than embark on new road construction projects in 2016, he would only endeavour to build on Jonathan’s achievements.

Wittingly or unwittingly, Fashola gave the lie to APC propaganda that Jonathan’s years were wasted years? If Jonathan was as incompetent as the APC would have us believe, why could the party not launch its own superior nationwide road-building plan, as Buhari had promised in the heady days of the 2015 election csecondly ampaign? Why rely on allegedly sub-standard PDP foundations?

it was the state government that wanted to build a presidential lodge and not the presidency . kudos to obi for blocking such extravagance , anyway .

secondly secondly, GEJ s tenure was not a complete waste as some people say, though he should have done a lot better.
ultimately , we should not buy everything a party says, we can think for ourselves .

the road building plan was good but the implementation was poor. most of the roads were far from completion. it is only a silly govt tray will abandon ongoing projects to go and start another, that may also become completed

I support your stance, but I doubt that she will be jailed. Not because the govt doesn't want to, but because a lot of us, Nigerians, will start protesting her prosecution. Some people already protested in PH, saying that their daughter (who lives in opulence while they are poverty stricken) is being persecuted.

This govt already has its hands full, they must choose their battles wisely.
