Had some carpet grass planted in my garden today. I expanded the size too. The old plants I moved to another hedge and will share pictures later.

Fingers crossed on how the grass turns out. I'd be grateful for any tips. For now we water it every two days!

I will advice you watered the grass on daily basis either early in the morning before sun rises or later in the evening when the sun is no longer visible. Water can never be too much for grass.

Maintenance has always been one of the banes of Nigerian projects and artificial looks finer. Some organizations reject artificial turfs for various reasons but it's acceptable to an extent.

@Abagworo You are very correct. Goverment establisment in Nigeria lack maintenance culture. We are only good at initiating a project but lack continuity.

Artificial turf will continue to be artificial while natural grass will remain natural. May God deliver us in the hands of our government and their policies most times.

Pls guys,
I need some tested grass killers to kill d grasses growing in the place I live without harming the dogs around.

You may use Forceup or other (weed/grass killer). Mixed it with water and spray on the interlocks areas. Make sure the dogs are tied down may be like 2 hours after use before loosing them. Make sure no rain at that time, if it rains 2 hours later it will still work. It will take 4 to 5 days after before you'll start noticing weakness in the weeds.
