With the new dimension to the wave of killings in the Northern parts of Nigeria, it's only a matter of time before this madness spreads to other parts of the country! Going back memory lane, countries in the Middle East (Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Palestine etc) have known no peace since the beginning of organised violence (Bombing). The theories, modus-operandi and activities has all been the same- Kill the West!! If the Holy books preaches about love, Tolerant and Peace, why then is the madness fast spreading like an evil fire without any reasonable extinguisher? It's high time we started facing facts and stop playing politics with people's lives; if the country have been an organised one, by now for sure, some notable Nigerians should be answering questions regarding comments made not too far from now. Only bullies forces their wishes on other people without considering who get hurt in the process. I strongly believe in one Nigeria, but if the price of unity becomes the shedding of innocent blood, what then is the need of being together when there is no guarantee and security to human life? Western conspiracy some might call it, For sure such exist, but why give them the opportunity to land with their tools in the first place by your barbaric acts? When a stranger arriving in your house for the first time is welcome with an open harm and given a piece of land to build, what else do you expect? (Without any bias intentions), I strongly believe the Northern leaders (Traditional elders) has a lot role to play in eradicating this new wave of madness from their domain. They need to STAND and COME OUT with ONE VOICE in making a proclamation of ENOUGH is ENOUGH!! , That the presidency has refused to act supposedly, is because of the sensitive nature of the situation, which I strongly believe these leaders know much about. Judging from experience, It's obvious the arrival of the FBI will only worsen the already tensed situation, and make the country more vulnerable to outside attacks under the pretence of BK!! Let's pray God take control of the situation, else, , |
All the best; and please keep old friends close, never can tell how useful they might be in the near future!! |
Tribe and religion are the two major factors our politicians till date has only succeeded in blindfolding us with for their selfish interest! Abort these two impedance from our mental capacity and understanding, we will realise how this "little group" of people have deprived us of our lawful rights, stole our present day happiness and fast encroaching into destroying the future of the unborn generation too! Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is a Nigerian, and also a serving minister in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I wonder the tribal sentimental brouhaha some folks try to build up here! With this kind of barbaric thoughts, how then can we hold our leaders responsible for their short-comings on governance? If the country is to progress any further, not just corruption, but the sentiment of religion and tribal affinity should be eradicated from our mental storeroom too!! As for comments on "nairaland" I suggest only progressive thinkers should have says in the medium, not every dick and harry!!! |

, The Northern parts of Nigeria gives nothing to the co-existence of the country, yet they take more of the country's resources, yet gives more trouble! What is really going on? I think the Northern representatives in both houses of assembly should do the right thing for once in their lives in putting these mad men in order!! The president on his part, has shown great level of maturity and understanding on this sensitive issue; the killings and destruction of properties perpetuated by this men, should be blamed on the northern leaders that has failed to put their house in order!! One may ask, what are these men actually fighting for? Is it neglect, lack of good roads? (The Petroleum Trust Fund has definitely done that) or the extraction of the cattle in the north to feed the nation? Let truth be told, if "Oil" that feeds the nation presently has been discovered the north, it's obvious this region could have mapped out a country for themselves from the present day Nigeria!! When other nations are busy implementing laws to better the lots of it's citizens, we still chase ghost! This is distraction which is in fact, unacceptable, to say the least. Let the truth be told and lets stop deceiving ourselves, these men are not ready to stop this madness, if their leaders don't come out with one voice to condemn its activities; the said "Peace Pane" will only end up wasting its time and tax payers money, One Nigeria we all stand and believe in, but if this region wants a go, it's high time we stopped shedding innocent blood all for the sake of being together!!! |
@all: Try eBay, and I can help deliver it for free from the UK!! |
@whatalife: I can't still understand what actually you want, and don't want to sound funny or rude. I'm a Nigerian, came here as a student, and now does contracts jobs coupled with my personal business-Cars, Buses, LCD, PLASMA, MOBILE PHONES, LAPTOPS, and PRINTING MACHINES, To be frank with you, people in the UK here are busier than Nigerians, and every time counts in everything you do. I will be sure of the angle you are coming from if you can answer these questions!! 1, Do you want someone that can only confirm this address and the genuineness of this business? YES there are! And have spoken with them confidentially too 2, Do you want someone that can only go there and check the goods before delivery to Nigeria? 3, Have you thought about shipping? 4, Do you need a business partner? 5, If you need only help on this business Personally speaking, I have other places where I get mine- just like the "Alaba Int'l kind of market" in London, but won't mind taking my time off to check these goods for you (that is if your chose to do it alone) Take your time, and think about these questions!! Cheers!! |
What do you want to know about the website? Maybe I can help, since I'm into exportation of such to Nigeria too!! |

, All we need right now is progress, and let no man put asunder!! How many shady deals perpetuated under the ground have they addressed with this NATO kind of Army? Is is because the poor masses seems to gain from this little devidence of democracy that the Governor chose to embarrass himself ? Imagine our leaders!! With the way things are going in the country, I strongly believe they (our selfish and corrupt leaders) will meet the force of the masses sooner than latter. For proper reference, they should check the amount of unemployed youths scattered all over the country, and yet they fill comfortable in their stupidity. Like I also say, the clock is ticking and the pointer is shifting from country to country, and continent to continent; Nigeria will soon catch the bug, and our corrupt leaders will have no where to hide!! Just pray our illiterate brothers keep religion and sentiment out of it, |
If the deportees has the legal right to remain in the country (Nigeria), I think the Nigerian Government has questions to answer! If any group of people are to be deported, why are the Lebanese that treats Nigerians like second class citizens in their own country still remain and work in the country, even with expired papers!! I wonder when priorities are placed right in Nigeria, |

, With the way things are going in Nigeria, I begin to wonder if there is any hope for the Nigerian youths!! |
If creating more universities will reduce the amount of corruption and move the country forward, then kudos Mr. president; but if the other way round is the case, I think the president's head need to be examined! Can someone in the house please check where the most ranked university in Nigeria is presently in the African ranking of universities for years 1999-2011, and tell us what and where the future of our educational system is heading to? Where lecturers go on strike almost every session, funding for research is not available, and when even available, is passed to "block heads" that don't even need then in the first place; school buildings look like community playing grounds, and graduates produced under such circumstance is nothing to talk about. I pity this generation, because it seems not to be getting anything right, and has refused to learn from the failures of past leaders. At times, one begin to think the "Boko Haram" men's fight is justified! Just wish the innocent are not dying among. The Government really need to slap on the check to wake up from it's slumber. It has happened in Greece, and other European countries, and wondering when Nigerians will wake up and tell these corrupt leaders that enough is enough, else we will continue sacrificing the happiness of the unborn generations to the creed of the present day corrupt leaders!! We need to wake up, and start acting, instead of looking!!! |
It's heart touching. The present day Government feels deporting people back to their respective country will solve the problem the United Kingdom faces presently. But come to think of it, the number of jobless people in the country is increasing on a daily basis, which a reasonable percent are Nigerians! How I wish out leaders will stop the selfish behaviour the exhibit, and face the problems in ordinary people faces in Nigeria, as they struggle for survival. No doubt, the country is stingingly rich but nothing to show for it. Let no one deceive anybody that the grass here (UK) is any greener, because you might end up drowning the hand of your clock backwards. I can't speak for other European countries, but for the United Kingdom, "NOTIN DEY HAPPEN HERE" |
, When we start looking for sustainable means of power supply, that's when we begging the search for the solution to the countries' problem. Countries with little income or potential for natural renewable energy sources, produces and supplies little countries say less of a country like Nigeria- GIANT OF AFRICAN!! I wonder at times what happens to the hot-killing sun in the North, the Rivers all aver the country (position of the country in the belt region), and the heavy winds in the arid region of the country? When we start acting properly, things I believe will begin falling into places. |

Can the lawyers in the house please spell out the functions of the president of a country? And what the constitutions says if such is fell short of. If the activities of these "freedom fighters" or what they call them selves is tantamount to treason, and nothing is being done about it; what then happens to such people mandated to uphold the constitution and protection of such country? Immediate impeachment I concur to at this juncture before it's too late! It's very obvious from all ramification, we elected a man who's afraid to go for what he believes in (no sentiment, even though I cast my last vote for him), because he's avoiding certain toes, These men are fast gaining popularity and followers, which with time, even the NATO forces will find it difficult to crush. This is a pure sign of failure which is unacceptable and unprecedented of a president!! I think it's high time the wind of pure change blow across Nigeria (After all, Libya, Egypt a few counties has done it); since our leaders only care for their pockets and the financial security of their unborn generations to the detriment of the poor masses which contributes 70 percent of the population. Tick, tick, tick says the time! |
I wonder what GEJ is still waiting for? Is it till the whole Northern region turn into a war zone? Or because the full battle ground has not moved to Abuja? This is not what we voted him for into power. Action delayed can never be excused for any reason, and posterity will never forgive any one or group of people that sheds innocent blood! The president should at this point made to understand that, the loss of any other innocent life as a result of the activities of the "Boko Haram" or the Nigerian military men, the blood of these people shall be on his head. It's high time they stopped playing politics with people's lives and face reality! God help Nigeria!! |

, Stay back home! It's actually a wrong time to want to spend all those amount of cash, and sent home immediately after your studies. The rules have changed here, and I hope Africans (especially Nigerians) understands that! Invest that cash in another business back home, while you try fulfilling your dreams when you are financially stable; but in all you do, please don't leave your present job now!!! |
