Politics / South Africa's Zuma To Wed Fourth Wife by glowithdan(m): 5:56pm On Apr 16, 2012
South African President Jacob Zuma will marry his fourth wife next weekend, his spokesman confirmed...

South African President Jacob Zuma will marry his fourth wife next weekend, his spokesman confirmed on Sunday.

Zuma will tie the knot at his family homestead in Nkandla in KwaZulu-Natal province, said presidential spokesman Mac Maharaj.

"I can confirm that President Zuma will formalise his relationship with his fiancee, Ms Bongi Ngema, in a private traditional ceremony at Nkandla this weekend," Maharaj told AFP.

Zuma, a known polygamist, will be married the sixth time. He divorced Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, South Africa's candidate for the African Union top post, in 1998. Another wife, Kate, committed suicide in 2000.

"The president currently has three wives. This will be his fourth wife," Maharaj said.

The president, who turned 70 last Thursday, is believed to have fathered around 20 children.

Ngema, who accompanied Zuma on a state visit to the G20 summit in South Korea last year, has a three-year-old son with him. She has a business degree among other academic qualifications.

Nkandla was recently renovated for 64 million rands ($8 million, 6 million euros), the Sunday Times reported.

Zuma's adventures with women have often sparked controversy. In 2006 he was acquitted of rape charges after having consensual sex with an HIV-positive activist and family friend. He famously told the court he had taken a shower to protect himself against infection.

In 2009 he fathered a child with the daughter of 2010 World Cup local chief Irvin Khoza on the eve of the global event.

Asked at his birthday party Friday whether he was done with marriage, Zuma replied, "I think so."

NNEKA2015: Have been married for 6 years to a pilot and we have have three kids my marriage isn't working anymore , there is no love or trust in the marriage again, my husband gets angry at the slightest thing i do and then goes out drinking and and doesn't come back to sleep in the house until i have gone to work. He only says he loves me when he wants to sleep with me , he complains about everything from my , shoes ,dress to my hair , my food and now that i am not improving in making love. he showers me with gift once in a while but claims i don't make him happy, i have tried and tried but he is never pleased, I don't want my kids to grow without their father because they are just getting to know him but at the same time i can't take it anymore and neither can he as well. please married or divorced women advice me on what to do i can't concentrate at work , i know he loves me and i feel something for him but i can't continue like this. please i need sincere advice on what to do.

Sorry for what you are passing through right now. But one thing you should understand is that there is no perfect marriage anywhere.

It is actually a trying moment for you, and I would advice you think it through before thinking of leaving.

Mind you, there is nothing too big for the Lord to do.

Amaka G29:
Don't you have goals for yourself? I believe in marriage and I know the pressure you are feeling is palpable, but men can sense desperation and it's a turn off. If you focus on being the best you for yourself, the husband will come. Focus on being well read, well dressed, and well traveled...really anything that makes a happier and better you. People who take care of themselves and are genuinely happy attract others are them. Focus also on building strong friendships and family ties. Creating good relationships with others will make you better at navigating romantic relationships. You never know who may know just the right person for you.

From a practical stand point, putting yourself in situations to meet quality, serious minded men without hunting for them could be fruitful. It won't be the club, but it may be the library, cafe, or friend's wedding. A smile and pleasant conversation goes a long way (even with a nice older woman who has a son.)

You have a whole life ahead of you to be married, have children, and be tied down. Why not explore the freedom you have while you have it?

You said it all. Only take it easy, because there is actually time for everything!!

cugresources: Honestly, I don't want to hurt someone or go stereotyping about Nigerian girls or any other girls...u know, I don't really love answering calls cos I answer and make lots of calls @work, travel alot, and love resting and playing HD pc & video games, and watching every football match and NFL (American football), watching foreign news and business reports, which I know almost all Nigerian girls hate, and wouldnt love to participate, so getting into relationship would restrict me from exercising these freedoms, I would have to start picking calls even when I don't feel like just to please someone. I would have to watch movies (that I hate with passion) just becos she is watching it, do this and that becos she is doing it or wants me to do it. Would have to reduce my hosts of friends just to please her, reduce my travels and event attendants just to make someone happy? uh uh, thats too much a hassle to face, so scary! single people, especially men don't know the immunity they are enjoying, the wide freedom and joy they are enjoying that most married and engaged guys would celebrate to have back! All the same, the making of baby thing, is just the most difficult and the dealing with parents issue- convincing them that u love being single nd would try and get them grandchildren....sighs.

Life is a challenge my brother, so face it. If you are of age and still reason this way, I suggest you seek help somewhere(no hard feelings).
I challenge you to challenge your self today into accepting the realities of life, which marriage is one of it. And come to think of it, who told you there is any perfect one anywhere? Wonder what could have become of you, if your parents had said what you are saying now.

Life is too short to be lonely bro- Enjoy it with someone you love while it last!!

We can only sit here and talk all sorts of rubbish; you only need to be on war front to appreciate the beauty and heat of the battle.

As for those that's been opportuned to travel abroad (Europe), then you'll understand the sudden and tight situation this young man found himself. No doubt, no country is an isolation to such act, but for months running, Nigeria has remain on public domain for negative reasons. Subsidy; Corrupt Leaders (which one of them will be convicted soon on a foreign land); BOKO Haram, Niger Delta brouhaha; insecurity and the rest.

You only need to travel abroad as a student where you have students from different parts of the world, then you would understand the situation that young man found himself.

I have never been an advocate of separation, but I don't see this "Nigeria Marriage" of a thing working one bit. Rather, it's favoring only some greedy and selfish people in cartain quarters!!

Politics / The Only Solution Left On The Issue Of "bh" In Nigeria by glowithdan(m): 4:36pm On Jan 28, 2012
In as much as I chose to partially agree with the call for a speedy action on the part of our Government in the handling of the affairs as it relates to "BH" , it is believed from all indications that this problem has eluded the scope and understanding of our president; and it is our responsibility as a Nation to stand with him with one voice in saying ENOUGH is ENOUGH to these base less killings of friends and loved once,

It is indeed a trial period for us as a Nation; the foundation of our coexistence is being threatened, and how we (not just the Government alone), handle this grave situation, will definitely form the basis for our progress and eventual liberation from our "bad leaders". While setting aside our ethnic or religions affiliation, we must not succumb to the wish of this outlaw group, which only way of pressing home its point is by the destruction of lives and properties,

If we as a people could rise with one voice and occupy the world on the removal of fuel subsidy, I am of the opinion we can do better as a nation on such issue which not only threaten our present, but also the future!!
Politics / Re: Boko Haram: Attacking Right Now a Police Station Near The Emir Palace in Kano... by glowithdan(m): 10:51pm On Jan 27, 2012
Turning the Country into a battle field is never one of the reasons our founding fathers fought tooth and nail to liberate the Nation from it's colonial oppressors.

I strongly believe the activities of this sect has eluded the understanding of its founders- Northern leaders! It's a case of sleeping with a domestic dog on the same mat, and waking up with a wild lion; what do you expect in such a case?

The North is on fire, but we as a people must not forget that the soiling of a finger affects the rest, It's high time we aborted the issues of religion and tribe, but fashion out  better ways in helping the Government in finding better solution(s) to these problems. It's obvious the government has ran out of strategy and scope in handling this problem which no doubt is threatening our co-existence as a Nation. It is our duty as a people to rally round our leaders at a time like this and speak with one voice!!

Can we OccupyNigeria, and say enough is enough to the activities of this sect, not  just on Fuel Subsidy?

Paying through the nose while using any of those airlines has been an issue well overdue! This has to do with the psychology of the ordinary Brit. They see us (Nigerians) as second class being, when in the real sense, they are.

Don't get me wrong when I say, an average Brit has nothing upstairs compared to an average Nigerian. The white rat here talk about scam. Where did the black man learn these things from? THE WHITE RATS of course, They perpetuate these acts,  hide under, and blame the blacks.

The issue here is BA and it's partner in crime being caught pants down, what has internet scam got to do with it? They have taken us for a ride for too long, because of how we've degenerated ourselves in public light. They believe our representatives cared little about our welfare and plights; They can not stand if it's citizens rights are violated (locally, say less on the international scale), but little do they know there is time for everything.

Believe me when I say an average Brit has nothing upstairs! Their level  Plagiarism is second to done, and yet they come out with little scores in class. I believe, the only thing they are good for is to produce babies without fathers!! It might interest you to know that in present day England, 57 percent (un confirmed proof) off the kids here don't know their fathers!! The level of immorality is nothing compared to; yet this white rat makes noise here!

African and other international students contribute sustainably amount to sustain the British economy, and yet they have nothing to offer you, yet this white rat talks rubbish. Anyway, they are known for talking rubbish, and rubbish they will keep on saying.

How I wish our leaders can continue on this good note, only there and then, will we as a people regain our deserve respect both home and abroad. But for now, let those rippers pay up and reduce their fares, or back off!!
Business / Re: Does Travelling Abroad Truly Guarantee A Better Future? by glowithdan(m): 8:10pm On Nov 09, 2011
Different stories for different folks! It's simple, life in the UK is not a bed of roses! You pay as tax almost everything you work hard for; and one thing is for sure- YOU MAKE NOTHING AT THE END!!!

Healthcare is certain, but not free; Power is constant, but not free; road network is perfect, but 80% of the people still fail the driving test (the tax you pay on your car is enough to start a business back home; talk of accommodation, a three bed apartment goes for 1500-2700 pounds per month (calculate those figures for two years, and evaluate the cost of erecting a three bed bungalow in Nigeria); You bye a TV set, you pay tax on it (even if you get any TV station or not); paying almost 100 pounds every month on "council" tax for your home, is definitely no child's play either, I can go on and on.

Yes, someone did say something about security. In Nigeria, the rule of law is lacking totally, while in the UK, abuse to privileges and the likes is very minimal.

And to cap it up, with your black face and racial background, its almost impossible to secure a permanent job in the UK!

It's simple as those!!!

First of all, it it wrong to do that with out the concept of person's whose data is exchanged for God knows what, Secondly, What does out houses of representatives thinks about the issue in question (if it is actually right). Thirdly, I am of the opinion this will fail if it is to confront the problem the country finds it self in of recent! How many of these bombers can be recorded as being Nigerians in the first place also,

As for our leaders, the stake is presently too high for them to handle, and it has slides their widest imagination, only time will tell what happens to our beloved country, but from all indication, she needs to be operated on asap,
