You just hit the nail on the head the military is so messed up because the soldier's who where trained to fight have been converted to the tools for the senior officers, doing all sort of odd jobs for them like u rightly mentioned. What a shame and the government has not seen any reason to checkmate the military and put an end to this bastardeous act perpetrated in the armed forces of this country. It is not so in overseas where men of the military will be use as farmers to their superiors

When Commissioned officers are getting killed like chickens in a military structure every now and then, then you know the country's military itself is an eyesore. In the Nigerian army for example there is zero Intelligence, an almost non-functional airforce to provide aerial support, obsolete weapons , zero welfare for soldiers . Very pathetic.

If you go to ojo barracks , Lower ranked soldiers are used to clear farmlands of superior officers. They are used as gateman to watch over their wives and kids living outside the barracks. They serve as their body guards and are sent to mount road blocks just to keep them busy. The whole system is bad, it needs overhaul.
