It was great, not crowded like before. Although it's difficult to get a seat where you can relax if you have a long waiting hours. Due to the social distance, Chairs are demarcated.
A team of hygiene are available at the airport to make sure Full use of Face masks.

Wi-Fi is available, you have two options of logging to the WIFI in instanbul airport.
1. Mobile Login: You make use of your phone number to register and a verification code would be sent to you. (Just 60min access).
Provide another new number if the 60min exceeds (in case you have 2 SIM cards). MTN works smoothly in instanbul, although 60Naira per incoming calls, while message is free.

2. WIFi Kiosk. There are some available, it's also free of charge. To get access to it, after scanning the WIFI network , sign in and select the second option instead of MOBILE.
Then input your International passport number and create a password, to create the password:
Swipe in your International passport in the WIFI kiosk, A password would be generated. You have just like 18 seconds to get the password. Advice: Just make use of your phone camera to take a screen shot of the password on the WIFI kiosk. or if you are a fast in typing , just stay on the page after inputting your passport number

If your last PCR test was done within 48hrs before arrival in Germany.
You won't need another PCR, you are to fill a locator form with your details and where to stay within the next 14days and you are required to self isolate. A fine of 25,000 Euro is imposed for false information and not adherence to the protocol

Thank you for this detailed info. Please did you fill the locator card online or did the airline give you the form to fill?

I had similar issue, dob on my waec cert is incorrect although it's same month and year but different day. I got an affidavit from the court pointing out the error in my waec cert and attached it to the documents I submitted. Everything went well.

Guys pls help with this.

If someone who is going for MSc in Microbiology but has 3 years experience in banking.. Should it be stated in the CV. Or that date should be left blank?

Cos i don't want risk the chance of getting admission maybe because banking and microbiology are not related.

Any advise pls??

What was your Bsc degree? Is it related to your Msc course? For me I filled my years of experience even thou it was different from the course I went for and it didn't affect my admission/Visa approval. This is because you may be asked to explain what you have been doing till the date of application. Saying the truth is always safer.

Catholicism has no boundary hence the church is universal. You can join the opening of mass in lagos, follow the gospel reading in brasil, have communion in australia and final blessing in new york.

A priest is born in Ireland, becomes a mass server in san francisco california and serves in lagos/bodija-ibadan as a priest.

He died in Nigeria and was never even a monsignor but touched so many lives.

We are catholics first, be you a monsignor, monsineur, bishop, archbishop, cardinal or the pope.
You are all Catholic Priests.

The rest are administrative positions to manage the church seamlessly.

Ahiara diocese is taking the church back to an era corrected with the appointment of Pope John Paul II to date that not only Italians can be pontiff.

While one appreciates the contribution of Ahiara Diocese to the priesthood, been a Bishop is not a birthright.

A Bishop can be posted anywhere to serve.

From Ahiara to the Vatican, politics still needs to leave the church.

Benedicamus Domino

Well said.

Thumbs up!

In the whole of Imo State, Mbaise has the highest number of Catholic priests and the most qualified ones for such post. So, how can someone from from believe that he can continue to suppress the will and wish of a whole people just to install his stooge on over qualified one to determine their "catholical" bearing?

Bros (@Donkafor) I dnt think its a new rule.
I believe there is more to this person's issue (that must also be the reason why the email screenshot started with the statement "Based on this information"wink. Look very well at the screenshot, d cash was transferred July last year.

Read carefully you would discover that the usual period Fintiba recorded for his blocked account started from September 2017 that's why it will end in August 2018 (which means it was for winter 2017).

You would agree with me that so many persons dat went for winter 2017 also used fintiba and they didn't experience dis, because if did, they would have informed us.
So I dnt think its a new policy (like for summer 2018), except those of winter 2017 semester also experienced it but decided not to relate it here (which I doubt).

My own assumption: maybe the person transferred early July and also traveled to Germany few days/weeks after.

Then I also believe instead of a total of €8829, the person transferred let's say €10,000. Remember fintiba would say in ur first withdrawal u can decide to withdraw the excess (in dis case €1171) alongside d usual €720 if u choose to do it dat way.

So maybe in d first month (July in this case) the person withdraw only €600 out of the total amount which means the person had the complete blocked amount as well as xtra €571 from the excess transfer. Then the 2nd month (August) the person decided to withdraw the bal €571 thinking since the usual blocked amount is still intact then fintiba won't charge him for those xtra 2months, not knowing that since operation of the account has already started since July, then fintiba must definitely charge administrative fees of €4.9 monthly for those additional months (July and August in this case).

Dats just my own perspective of d whole issue, so I can be totally wrong especially as regard the figures I used in the above explanation.

Yes there was an issue....I was paid less, so I had to write them for an explanation. That was the response I got.

NB: I arrived in October and not in July or August as you assumed.

I disagree!!! Fintiba blocked account for Wintersemester starts from September. If you unblock in December or later,
September, October and November will be paid at once then the 3 deductions. Deduction starts from the month of pay out. Only the initial fee of 89€ is deducted immediately your account is funded.

See attached.

No need to argue. Writing out of experience.

Oh boy you wan make fear catch me.

I was meant to go for Winter 2017 but i didn't meet up with my school's enrollment deadline, so i will be going for Winter 2018 and i already funded my fintiba account since August 2017, does it mean they will be deducting 4.99 monthly from it because i left the fund there until my next visa interview?

Secondly the passport i used to open my fintiba account has been renewed so now i have a new passport that i will use to apply for Winter 2018, will that be an issue when i want to process my visa for Winter 2018.

cc. Honourableseyi, jigba, donkafor, all the gurus in the house please help.

Update:

Yes they will start charging you from the month you transferred the money. They deduct it once you start operating the account. (4.9 * the number of months: starting from the month it was transferred).

abeg answer guys, help a brother

Hi,

A simple Google search would have answered this question.

The formula is as shown below.

Your Gp in German scale should be around 2.4 which means you are good to go.

Shalom

GR_TUM = 3 * [(GRmax - GRd) / (GRmax - GRmin)] + 1

GR_TUM = the GPA you're looking for, converted GPA (German/TUM system)
GRmax = highest possible grade in the non-German grading system, expressed in numbers
GRd = grade earned in the non-German grading system.
GRmin = lowest possible passing grade in the non-German grading system (i.e. the lowest possible grade that would still allow you to pass the course

An example is illustrated below:

GR_TUM = 3 * [(5 - 4,25) / (5 - 1)] + 1 = 3 * 0,75/4 + 1 = 0,562 + 1 = 1,562

--> one digit after the comma --> your "new" GPA (to use in the application form) would be 1,5

Please keep in mind: The German system recognizes grades from 1,0 (best)
to 4,0 (lowest possible passing grade) - so the result should be within this range.

Hi Tinder,

For your first question, the answer is No. The deduction starts when you activate the account. So your money is intact for now smiley

I am not so sure about your second question, but I don't think its an issue because u only need block account confirmation from Fintiba for your interview. I am sure the new passport still bears your name and same passport number. Our gurus can explain better.

Shalom

Hello All,

Greetings from Deutschland.

One advice, if you are above 30, please just go through the stress of opening Deutsche bank account, I think the stress is worth it. #start early.

Reasons:

1. If you are above 30 you pay bank charges.....lol, some banks charge as high as 7.69 euros monthly, I think Deutsche bank charges 4.99. I stand to be corrected by the gurus in the house smiley

2. Remember you are already paying a monthly charge of 4.99 for Fintiba ( if you decide to use it).

3. Kindly add the charges yourself and see how much u forfeit monthly.

Finally I am currently having an issue with Fintiba, they deduct more than 4.99 monthly. I have called and sent mails, still the issue is yet to be resolved.

Please choose carefully especially if you are above 30.

Shalom.

It's not a lie please. Just because you were not affected or stopped by those aimless people does not mean it's not true. Similar issues happened

to 2 people that I know this same week.

So to those of you, who wish to fly Turkish Airline please make sure you go to their stand/Office at the Airport about 1 - 2 hours earlier before boarding and ask them if there would be any issue with buying a One way Ticket or profer a possible solution to avoid been harassed.
