I can think of commiting suicide but will never do it. So many people have people who love them but they will let one experience or circumstance change it all, forgeting that somewhere, someone or some group of persons love them. The family should investigate the cause of her death, to know what actually happened or possible reasons why she conceived such thought, at least that will help than just burying and forgetting her. R.I.P and may God console the bereaved. |

Nairaland General › Re: Have You Ever Fainted Before? What Happened And What Did You See? by gluv01(f): 1:07pm On Oct 14, 2013 |
Yes I have. When my mom knew i had a crush on someone whom I didn't want her to know. She then told my sisters and I was only in Junior high school then. She never stopped talking about it. She recognized him once when she dropped me off at school and thought out loud 'oh dear, you are the guy my daughter has a crush on'..he was close by. I literally fainted and almost didn't want to forgive her for the embarrassment that day. And the damn guy was feeling fly and boasting that i fainted because I couldn't take in his cuteness all at once |

Health › Simple Tips On How To Eliminate Body Odor by gluv01(op): 10:09pm On Oct 13, 2013 |
--Apply extra virgin coconut oil to your smelly skin; the lauric acid in coconut oil kills bacteria, thus making you smell better. --Clean your armpits after shaving. --Concerning armpits, antiperspirants, and deodorants: Bacteria that produce the odor can grow only if they have moisture, so try an antiperspirant rather than a deodorant. Deodorants that specifically inhibit bacterial growth are also an option. --Deodorants don't work anymore, diluted lemon juice may do the trick. You will have to experiment with the concentration; if it is too harsh, your skin will burn or develop redness and welts. If this happens, wait a couple of days and start again. Taste first to judge the acidity. It is the acidity that will keep the offending microorganisms from growing under your arms. This remedy is amazingly simple and works. --Shaving beneath your arms can help eliminate body odor and make antiperspirants/deodorants easier to apply. --Don't mix too many soap, deodorant, perfume, etc. because the various scents don't always mix very well. --Reduce the odor through diet if possible by avoiding processed food or try to mask it (baking soda and cinnamon powder both work well for some people). Don't stop vital bodily processes. --If you have body odor, it may be due to fungal growth. Anti-fungal shampoo, applied to the armpits while showering (lather it up and leave it on for three minutes), can work wonders against this problem. Consult your doctor for stronger medications, they tend to be prescription only. --If you use a razor to shave ensure the razor is clean before you shave. You can clean the razor with disinfectant or antiseptic. --Don't put on cologne to mask odors--it will make matters worse. --Change your sheets frequently, and use white sheets because they can be bleached. After all, you spend eight hours every day in your bed on your sheets. --Foods with high sulfur content (such as garlic and eggs) are a definite culprit for those with body odor problems. Look at websites for listings of foods. --If you are taking any prescription medication, consult your doctor, as some medications may cause body odor, sweating, etc. --Apply talcum powder to the armpits of your clothes and rub it in (remove the evidence on dark clothing by rubbing it off from the outside). Also apply it to your skin after deodorant, but don't rub it in. --Use Chlorophyll gel tabs or Chlorophyll liquid from Wild Oats/Whole Foods or health food store. It's an internal deodorizer that minimizes or eliminates body odor. --Spray perfume onto your clothes, and put perfume in the washing machine when you wash them. --If you suffer from foot odor, you should wear socks in your shoes (preferably cotton, which absorbs moisture and dries faster), and change them at least daily to keep your feet dry. --If you smoke and don't want to stop, consider electronic cigarettes that only emit water vapor. eddiebruk: Pidgin is a local Language in Nigeria, it is also spoken by choice, If you visit the Chinese country, they wont speak English with you, so why are you ashamed of Pidgin.? or find it funny.? The only thing i find funny in pidgin is the tone when used and the situation it is applied to. There are some 'modified sweet pidgin' and some 'utterly irritating' ones as well. The very thick pidgin accent i hate is when every word is pronounced raw, but the other is used just for fun or to get a feel that you are still Nigerian anyway. |
