good day EVERYONE! i have read through this thread from page 1 till here and i have a few confusions. would really need your assistance i am a mechanical and production engineering (B.Eng) Graduate with roughly 4 years experience in the field. single, and yet to write IELTS, PTE or TOEFL 1) has the 60-points yardstick been increased to 70? 2) are there points attached to obtaining a B.Eng (Mechanical/ Production)> ? =OlalekanKad]This is my own opinion. Go TRA if you can spend the money for another assessment. You can get Electrical Technician with your OND and HND easily without stress. You also do not need to leave out your BSC Certificate, include it there. TRA only considers your minimum qualification for the assessment and all other qualifications are just extra. I had a similar case with you. BSC Mechanical, HND Mechanical and OND Mechanical. Successful EA but EA reduce my years of experience so I spent another money on TRA and TRA outcome came with 9 years of experience. Entered EOI with 70 points and ITA came without stress. So my brother go for a less competitive occupation as I know mates with 70 points on Engineering technologist and yet no ITA till date. So go TRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, your OND and HND is a plus so don't waste it. Also when it comes to visa application, it is not an issue because DIBP already knows you have a BSC and looking inwards, the fact you have a BSC doesn't mean you don't have a skill on a lower level, alot of people are working with their BSC and some already are PHD holders. @Fuller and @jamson @Olalekakd Will need your guidance on this TRA assessment, I have C$G electrical and electronics pt 1&2....have pm you |

@Alphador the project is a welcome development, but the gurus must be carried along,@bellong,NBB2012,I like that naijamigrant or 9jamigrant,the site should not only be limited to ausi only, but we can start with it,it can also be a premium package kind of site, where only paid members can be admitted while this thread still remains relevant. Have anyone here, successfully gotten a positive assessment as Electrician, please will need your Guide and assistance as I begin my journey to ausi talk2godwing@gmail.com |
lawland post=58993001]Advanced national Technical certificate is equivalent to Cert IV if the course duration is one year and obtained after national Technical certificate. Please which category does City and Guilds of London falls into,I have part 1&2 in Electrical and electronics and part 1 Mechanical @Bellong,NBB2012, and other gurus, still on the matter oooo, want to start my PR journey and needs guidance, you can also recommend some people here whobcan assist,I got and agency who say they can assist for 120k....I no wqn enter one chance abeg...send me a mail talk2godwing@gmail.com,then we take it up from there.... |
@sypyroxy1 thanks will follow up Go for PR.. Check for your Skill occupation may likely be assessed by Vetassess, Obviously not Engineers Australia (more expensive than Vetassess) The Student fee in also high, once you get in as a PR, your student fee is about 50% off as an international student. All you would be spending on the student visa can easily go to your assessment ans English test Alternatively, your wife can be the principal applicant (30yrs) is 30 points, what you need is the assessment and english test even though she has no experience 30(age)+15(BSc.)+20(english) = 65 . If shes a can try to get high score in english - Wife 25(age)+10(nabteb)+15(experience)+20 (english) =70. Only if you do well in your english test. I stand to be corrected by more experienced Felas!
|
@bellong Thanks for this help, please if there is anyone who can assist, as a I start my PR journey I will appreciate even if it means paying a token,@Bellong if you can or recommend any one for me I can I'll appreciate BTW 2018 is my Target,if you are willing to help or Guide me step by step please e-mail me E-mail: talk2godwing@gmail.com Cc:Belong, mamajaz, jewelstone, westafrican,ex vattase candidates, engineers et el You are better off as the principal applicant on PR. There is no point wasting money on student visa. You can nominate electrician general or any other occupation that matches your skills which requires a diploma qualification. For which occupation? @kemmyrocks, I think you should add the master's degree qualification. Worst case is that you wouldn't get experience point which is better than a negative assessment. There will be a document checklist when you apply, just follow it.
|
