Please gurus in the house ,for somebody that studied Industrial chemistry Bsc,which occupation can one applied for? Gurus your help is needed here...

How do people workout the employment/working issue when applying for student visa....let us know if there is a way around it...

@Gurus in the house, are there no certification courses that can lead to PR?
Secondly which course will you suggest that someone that has industrial Chemistry degree go for in Australia
Thirdly do you suggest one go for MSC or graduate entry as industrial chemistry degree was a 4years course
Again if someone have not been working since graduation ,what other options will suffice

[quote author=Daslimo post=61758219]good day EVERYONE!

i have read through this thread from page 1 till here and i have a few confusions. would really need your assistance
i am a mechanical and production engineering (B.Eng) Graduate with roughly 4 years experience in the field. single, and yet to write IELTS, PTE or TOEFL

1) has the 60-points yardstick been increased to 70?
2) are there points attached to obtaining a B.Eng (Mechanical/ Production)>? (i couldn't find anywhere on AUS website where such was stated) if yes, how many points for a 2.1 holder?
3) i am 28 (30 points),
4 years experience (5 points),
English test (10 points) i am anticipating this at the very least

5) i get paid in cash considering that its a private firm. how do i go about the whole payslip and tax clearance ish?
6) any help or link to an IELTS/PTE test center in Enugu would be appreciated (i am open to possibilities)

i really need help on these issues and would appreciate any link ups available.

IELTS center in Enugu ....Go to Nike lake hotel,as the receptionist you will be directed upstirs

=OlalekanKad]This is my own opinion. Go TRA if you can spend the money for another assessment. You can get Electrical Technician with your OND and HND easily without stress. You also do not need to leave out your BSC Certificate, include it there. TRA only considers your minimum qualification for the assessment and all other qualifications are just extra. I had a similar case with you. BSC Mechanical, HND Mechanical and OND Mechanical. Successful EA but EA reduce my years of experience so I spent another money on TRA and TRA outcome came with 9 years of experience. Entered EOI with 70 points and ITA came without stress. So my brother go for a less competitive occupation as I know mates with 70 points on Engineering technologist and yet no ITA till date. So go TRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, your OND and HND is a plus so don't waste it. Also when it comes to visa application, it is not an issue because DIBP already knows you have a BSC and looking inwards, the fact you have a BSC doesn't mean you don't have a skill on a lower level, alot of people are working with their BSC and some already are PHD holders.

@Alphador the project is a welcome development, but the gurus must be carried along,@bellong,NBB2012,I like that naijamigrant or 9jamigrant,the site should not only be limited to ausi only, but we can start with it,it can also be a premium package kind of site, where only paid members can be admitted while this thread still remains relevant.
