meobizy: “Dear Nairalander,
Please pass the upcoming JAMB exam first before concerning yourself with world issues.
The upcoming war does not concern African nations for the foreseeable future so continue your existence like nothing happened. The combatants will follow strict COVID restrictions and use maximum protection if time comes to copulate with the local female folk.
I can not guarantee the full safety of Ukrainian civilians because history has shown innocents are likely to die during war. Combatants in authority positions will ensure casualty figures stay low.”
Yours Sincerely, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. lol, can't stop laughing. Do you know that a lot of africans and Nigerians are in Ukraine studying and working as well, your government doesn't care about their existence, that's why I'm appealing to Mr Putin to embrace peace ms meobizy I get the sarcasm in your comment but please show little respect next time, I don't appreciate people that talk down to me. Unwarranted vituperation is unacceptable, don't be too savage and satirical For your information, I wrote jamb in 2011 and I go to work everyday, so why would you think that way young lady? meobizy please kindly answer my question, what exactly do you know about me? |

seunny4lif: Africa continent and South America will be the next place those people will enter after making North America, Asia and Europe continents wastelands.
But Africa continent will enter new civil war because we can’t even stand each other as an Africans. Nigeria will break up we Africans don't love each other, but hopefully new leaders of great minds will be incharge then. |

BKayy: The way most of the people in Africa view things show that this exploitation of Africa by the West might not end in this century but I am optimistic.
When you worship your oppressor, you complicate your liberation. Asians are not better or different, they are even worse. You've never heard about the dehumanisation of Africans in Asian countries. The only way to liberate ourselves is to love ourselves, unite together and build a prosperous future, by shunning corruption, tribalism, nepotism and marginalisation. |

BKayy: Just look at this one.
Oga, every black man should be praying for this war to happen so that the West will be defeated.
Just like the fall of Ottoman empire and the Axis, once the west is defeated, their colonies (Africa) will either be liberated or enjoy more degree of freedom. Probably from the current 0-5% to maybe 40-60% you are praying for a nuclear war, so you think Africa will not be affected? |

Full scale invasion of Ukraine will lead to thousands of deaths and unprecedented humanitarian crisis, the aftermath will be a complete devastation and suffering.
President Vladimir Putin should think about innocent people especially women and children.
No war please, the world is still grappling with covid pandemic.
Diplomatic solution remains the best option, not aggression
He should not go down in history like Joseph Stalin.

Flets: Cutting off sourcing of US dollars is huge ….. meaning Russia need to find other ways to source its dollars to trade internationally amidst existing trade sanctions.
Of course Putin already knew these were coming and have response plans…… but how far can he hold out. What will be left of Russia’s economy if this is sustained for two years or more?
American Allies and NATO countries have no choice than follow suite yeah it will be devastating for Russia with the entire European Union doing the same |

FERNANDEZISBACK: Let me see how Putin will get out of this mess..he thinks cos of his nuclear weapons and all then he can do whatever he likes?haha..
For those who don't know now..those sanctions are capable of crippling Russia's economy in no time if not we'll taken care of..let me stop here.. The nuclear weapons are more of deterrence and to avoid the repeat of world war II outcome, no nation wants a humiliating defeat and surrender in any major global war now, that's why countries like USA, UK, China, India, Pakistan, North Korea, Russia and Israel all have them, it protects you from your enemy, but no leader in the aforementioned countries will be so stupid to make the first move of using them against another country Economic sanctions will have far more reaching impact on Russians than any military conflict. Cutting Nord stream 2 gas in Germany is already a big blow to Russia, its just a matter of time before they start feeling the heat, though Europe will face minimal energy shortage for now but they will get it from somewhere else. |

internationalman: Basic things for life are luxuries in Nigeria....
Thunder will fire anybody who has been to abroad, enjoy good life and saw how system works but come here and start having unnecessary rage on hearing about people's plan to japa..
They keep yammering about how people live from paycheck to paycheck...
But at the end of the day an American who lived from paycheck to paycheck will have still lived a good life than the yahoo boys in lekki who camouflaged as oil company workers and Bitcoin traders...
In Nigeria forum all everyone talks about is money money money. I won't blame anyone cause one needs enough money in the country to even qualify as a human living other one is just merely existing...
Stupid country though I will never leave Nigeria in search of greener pasture, it's not all peachy out there. Desperation is pushing many young Nigerians, we need to stay back and build this country, who will elect credible Nigerians during elections if we all leave? though it's a personal decision. |

Many have denied ever voting him. thanks, as a Christian it wasn't easy then for me, but I looked beyond tribe and religion, my desire for a great and prosperous Nigeria actually pushed me to vote for him, I know a lot of intellectuals and media houses that campaigned for buhari indirectly considering the corruption under Jonathan and boko haram as well, some well meaning Nigerians like myself couldn't tolerate it any more then. These sanctions are weak to say the least and Biden not taking questions after his address only tells China and Russia that he's being controlled and not really in charge. That was the moment of "I am weak" what more do you want Biden to do, he can't intervene militarily since Ukraine is not part of NATO He has supplied Ukraine with weapons to defend themselves |

Joe biden asked, who in the lord's name does Putin think gives him the right to declare new so-called countries on territory that belonged to its neighbours, this is a flagrant violation of international law and it demands a firm response from the international community
