Jake420:But God's glory appeared to his followers in the Bible countless times, he manifested himself in different ways. Despite all the physical signs and miracles, Israelites forsook him many times, how do you expect this generation that never saw such to believe his existence |
#200 in Ibadan, this surfeit of food and drinks is insufferable |

Igede boy is here again with social ills in Nigeria. Nigeria is a multicultural and religious country with more than 250 known tribes, benue alone has three tribes which are igede, Tiv and idoma. Our diversity in Nigeria is more of a curse, Nigeria has never been this polarized, our nation is still unraveling, injustice breads bad blood and circle of violence we're currently grappling with. resentment, prejudice and hostility among different tribes has become the order of the day. Our leaders have not managed our biodiversity well in Nigeria, the reason for rise in ethno nationalism and cataclysm across the nook and cranny of Nigeria, ethnic segregation in Nigeria whether at the national or state level should stop or else we can't make headways. One tribe wants to dominate others forever, the inordinate and parochial interest of our leaders supersede national interest, they engage in dangerous political games for self aggrandisement and preservation while ignoring social polarization which is a bigger problem. I look forward to the day that an igede man will become the president of Nigeria, it's not a pipe dream, it's very much feasible, the day that the membership of my country will not be based on where I come from or the language I speak, but on adherence to a common creed that we are one people and one nation. As a dove and pacifist, I will continue to advocate for non violence approach in our quest for a new Nigeria, I want a Nigeria that works for all and sundry, not the aristocrats and plutocrats plundering everything away, a formidable country that will be the pride of black race. Sadly our country has been reduced to a cesspit and God forsaken land where dreams perish. We can still salvage the situation with people of substance in government, May we all witness the birth of a new nation soon.

OlawaleBammie:Oya talk am |
We often criticize our leaders for wrongdoings, so please kindly tell me your manifestos and blueprints on governance. What will you do differently? |
Then stop engaging in sexual immorality if you are not married |
gfaruk:This reminds me of the day my friend invited me to his church, his pastor tried to force me speak in tongue, I simply left the altar for him, he was shocked that day. So many guys were rolling on the floor after he touched them with white handkerchief, but I refused |
Nothing good comes out of prostitution |
hakeem4:That's one mystery We're faced with today. I posted something related this morning, though It did not hit front page |
Nobody can answer such question, only prophet Moses saw his back on mountain Sinai |
Good, congrats to him. We only hear about them after making it big in life. In Nigeria nobody cares about your existence until you make it either here or outside. |
Good, he's a veteran, seasoned and exceptional thespian I respect a lot. meanwhile some bloggers spreading rumours about his death should desist from such outrageous behaviour, I wish him many more years on earth |
Never, was too young when my dad died, I haven't lost any family member since then. I lost a neighbor early this year where I live, but I wasn't home when he died, I only stood by the dead body when I returned back from work, it was covid era so I observed covid protocols, I thereafter went for covid test because of the text message we saw in his phone indicating that the covid test he did was positive, I became apprehensive and paranoid. Thank God my test came out negative, I was the only one that did the test then, all my neighbors refused to even acknowledge the message, it was a fake message according to them, it was then I realized how stupid some people are, even the so-called educated. A message from hospital like UCH ibadan should not be taken lightly. Eventually the deceased family members came to remove the corpse, I had to warn them to be careful with the dead body and observe covid protocols which infuriated my neighbors. |
He went too far, he shouldn't have done that no matter the level of provocation. |
I can't remember the last time I went to church, it's been yonks, though I have my germane reasons, but I live a decent life. Going to church is good for socialization but not necessary for me, the church and mosque goers are the worst sinners today, they don't keep God's commandments, they do so many despicable things behind the scenes. We were living fine in Africa before the advent of Islam and Christianity, the way we practice these religions today isn't good, our worship centers have become business enterprise, everything has been commercialised, too many fake pastors and imam deceiving and misleading the credulous, they perform all kinds of fake miracles. I wasn't alive during the time of the old prophets, the time of Jesus and prophet Muhammed and their disciples, we read that they performed so many miracles, they healed the blind, the crippled and the barren, I don't know whether those things truly happened or not. We are very religious but ungodly people, the reason for all the intolerance, corruption, nepotism, marginalisation and wanton destruction of lives and property going on across the country, no good Christian or Muslim does such a thing, our corrupt leaders are more recognised than ordinary man in the church because they have big pockets. Our underdevelopment in Africa and Nigeria in particular after decades of independence is worrisome compared to our counterparts in Europe, Asia, north and south America, corruption exist in those places too, but not as terrible as we have it here, they have strong institutions and laws. God doesn't build societies, it's time for volte-Face brothers and sisters. I'm not trying to discourage anyone from going to church or mosque, but we don't practice what the Bible and quran says Good neighbourliness doesn't exist in the minds of some Christians and Muslims, so why deceiving yourself? My beneficence/munificence alone should take me to heaven, I render a lot of unstinting and unsolicited help. Also We should not disregard science when it matter most because so many people today are dying from preventable diseases due to ignorance, only medical doctors are trained to treat us, no pastor on earth has such power, that's my conviction. I'm from a very good Christian home but I see things from another angle. |
Oh not again, I believe some saboteurs in our armed forces are doing us great disservice, this is the failure of intelligence. |
Good, bomb them to ashes. I hope this isn't face-saving information. |
Its already fait accompli, Who advised her to go public in the first place? even if your husband forgives you, his family won't, she has done the unthinkable. Women should learn how to control their emotions and not to always go haywire, some of them will brazeñ it out for awhile before admitting wrongdoing. Happy birthday to her sha |
It's all about nepotism in Nigeria |
Our players don't work on themselves, they are after money |
Good, we need to see the creativity and ingenuity in them, he should also provide the needed support |
Nazgul:I agree wholeheartedly |
Those ruffians and firebrands |
PenoDesign:You are right |
Beebah2000:Abeg no vex for me oo, na my observation |
Good, celibacy and asceticism is better than debauchery, some strumpets and Casanova will not like it sha |
This lady rose to fame through such behaviour so she won't stop, her ilk keep corrupting the younger ones who sadly look up to them! That's her raison d'etre We don't hear much about people that should be really celebrated in our society. I hate BBnaija slapstick show because it doesn't reflect our core values, it should be banned forever. |
I feel like if a woman truly loves you then she won't do anything that will jeopardize the relationship, if she cares about (both) your future, unless she wants to use and dump you, we have a lot of spendthrifts nowadays who don't care about prudence/frugality even under this privation. So guys, have you dated a profilgate spender before? |
Good, there should be reconciliation after all the unholesome political rhetoric |
Too bad, at the age of 24 and she's already this kleptomaniac |
