According to Alexis De Tocqueville, in every democracy people get the government they deserve, is this statement true in the case of Nigeria? Social polarization in Nigeria under president buhari is worrisome, politicians from both APC and PDP have plundered this country, they call it national cake, general sani abacha and other military rulers embezzled billions of dollars as well. Nigerians are now faced with unprecedented privation under this administration due to the ineptitude and turpitude of the leadership class at all levels of our government. Fulani herdsmen, bandits, boko haram and other criminals continue to commit carnage with impunity. President buhari was elected by well -meaning and patriotic Nigerians in 2015 including myself, I looked beyond tribe and religion then, it was about the bigger picture called "project Nigeria" buhari being our Hobson's choice then with APC outmanoeuvred Nigerians with their duplicity, they campaigned on areas where good luck Jonathan performed abysmally and promised Nigerians eldorado, but instead he(buhari) took away our felicity and brought misery, Nigerians are just trying to subsist now, we're facing existential crisis amid rising ethno nationalism! insecurity, corruption, poverty, bigotry and intolerance, nepotism, marginalisation are numerous problems bedevilling our country. Nigeria has never been this polarized due to buhari's divisive policies, our country is still unraveling. This hardship is insufferable, a country that should be flowing with milk and honey has been reduced to a cesspit and God forsaken land where dreams perish. The agony, anguish and anxiety Nigerians go through everyday while trying to make ends meet is unacceptable, it appears our leaders are the enemies of this country, they benefit immensely from the broken, dysfunctional and corrupt system, the reason they want the status quo to remain, they don't want restructuring or any positive changes that Will not favour them. Their parochial interest and inordinate ambitions supersede national interest, but we need to end this ugly circle of recycling politicians. We need to come together and dislodge them from power, we cannot continue like this, we've become a laughingstock and mockery among nations of the world. All we need are men and women of good-will that will bring good governance and dividends of democracy, it is feasible, it's never too late, Nigeria will bounce back with sound leadership if we all play our part. Don't worship or defend corrupt politicians even if they are from your tribe because they don't care about your existence. Our inalienable rights are sacrosanct, fight for your right and liberty, don't be afraid to die, nothing good comes easy, just make sure you die for the right cause. As for president buhari, our governors and every past leader from both PDP and APC that put us in this mess, history will not be kind to them, they are the real enemies of this country, we know all of them and their families. They hate this country to the extent that they abandon our schools and hospitals, they prefer traveling to Europe, Asia and America for medical treatment and education with their children. They engage in gaslighting and their credulous supporters continue to worship them. We are tired of their shenanigans, vote wisely come 2023 my dear brothers and sisters, for now we don't have any other country apart from Nigeria, let's work for her progress, peace and unity. God bless the federal republic of Nigeria. Moderator should please move this to front page.

Jerry built houses will always collapse. |
The way he flaunts his wealth is injudicious |
ThickSharon123:Lol, Please tell me more, are you currently dating one? |
taiwotimitt:So many of them are confused bro, her exit from your life is actually a respite, so don't feel bad. |
GBOKASINCHA:Na wa 4 you oo, is it all about sexual prowess and who told you that good guys cannot Bleep well? good guys respect women's bodies than bad ones, so don't try to normalise and rationalize such noisome behaviour. |
Vanilla4:You are an upstanding woman |
OLDESTWARRIBOY:Thanks bro |
Palema007:Any guy that doesn't care about rectitude and established norms, guys that engage in anti social behaviour |
OLDESTWARRIBOY:Don't mind them. |
chatinent:Abi |
Bruno3000:Too bad |
Shedrack777:Lol, sweet ke, that sweetness will soon turn to bitterness |
I've been pondering on this for some time now, do we live in a morally bankrupt society where good values are not considered anymore before dating or marrying someone because there's so much weird behaviour and news nowadays, there's another trend of females going after the toffs and socialites, mostly the harpy and snobs! how about marrying someone you know that has a bright future, I'm not trying to stereotype or profile the entire female gender, we still have a handful of good ones, but the preponderance/vast majority of delusional and misquided ones prefer bad boys for the reasons known to them alone. Back in school I had a guy that dated countless ladies due to his ruggedness while I struggled to even date one, some ladies don't like calm and gentle guys which is an aberration and anomaly to me. If good virtues are no longer a consideration, then that explains why we have too many unholesome unions these days and I fear for the future of this country. So as a lady what are the qualities you look out for in a man? Intelligent and calm guys or cult boys? The invasion of western civilization into our culture is another problem Lastly I understand the fact that we all cannot be the same, or behave in a particular way, life is about choices, we all have our preferences regardless of compatibility, but I will also advise young people to be circumspect to avoid sad stories, don't get yourself into an entanglement that will mar your life, be painstaking and wise, there's no need getting into a relationship with someone you're poles apart. Wishing you a blissful and fabulous Sunday.

PDP that plundered this country with unprecedented looting, they still have the nerves to talk balderdash, I blame APC for making PDP look more like a better party now. |
Drella:Exactly, una pass us 4 that, and they can make you sleep with them so easily if they choose to as well. Man doesn't have such power I salute your probity on this, some ladies will never admit it. We both suffer silently |
Sad, may his soul rest in peace |
Drella:Wow, this is revealing. Without you telling me this today, I will see such as normal in women. But it appears women have more self control and restrain than men in this case. erection control in men can be very difficult, I've experienced it before and it wasn't easy, thank God I raised my leg up and the lady didn't notice |
Bullshit, this man is a big disgrace |
Drella:But the difference is that no one will ever notice female erection in the public, male reproductive organ is outside and more noticeable |
Joylove2324:Just imagine oo, maybe they are acting based on their body language. |
Hapinex01:Are you blaming him for that? |
Latakia:Haha, please be my new chum, I like your sense of humour |
I was sad at the passing of my dad at 44 but at least they are no longer in this cruel place. Some people will be happy when I am no more,” the mother of one wrote.
|
Latakia:Lol, why insulting me? Firstly I'm not Igbo. Your case is beyond redemption sister, calm down and reason well. |
Latakia:Why not do a little research yourself, prayers Indeed, leave religion out of this discussion, just know that it's everyone that was born with a silver spoon, some are proteges and mum/dad lapdogs, everything is in place for them to scud in life, except you want to engage in crime and criminality which is illegal and immoral act, to make legitimate ends meet in Nigeria isn't easy at all especially if you don't know anybody, but some Nigerians from privileged homes are insensitive to the plight of their fellows, they will rather engage in gaslighting than condemning bad governance. I don't know your background and I'm not trying to assume anything here, but hardwok alone isn't enough to blossom in Nigeria without connection, unless you are extremely lucky. Without enabling environment and government support, so many dreams and talents have perished. |
Latakia:This is very untrue, I know you are referring to South East and Ipob/ESN nefarious activities which I don't like as well, but these people have been pushed to wall through years of marginalisation at the federal level. Beyond south east, the entire northern Nigeria is engulfed in an unprecedented crisis today, from banditry to Fulani herdsmen, boko haram etc, look at the middle belt and South West as well, the entire Nigeria is at a rock bottom. Poverty, youth unemployment, corruption, intolerance and nepotism is on the rise, Nigeria is the global headquarters of poverty on earth now with a population of Just 200 million compared to China and India with over 1.3 billion respectively. Nigerians are just trying to subsist nowadays, we're facing existential crisis and I find it difficult to believe you actually typed these words with your fingers. Go to the market today and see how expensive food items are, our naira is worthless. |
ahnie:I hope you are an upstanding woman because I still believe we still have a handful of women of good virtues and noble character out there, it's just that they are rare these days. |
Latakia:Are you happy with the current situation of things in the country sister? Leave politics and tribal sentiments aside |
loveth360:You're doing urself a disservice and there are consequences |
Such a funny response. |
mysticgal:Easy ma'am. |
