merengue: Why do you go on every thread telling people that you are an international student whose father owns this and that & on an anonymous internet forum? Are you really that young, shallow, insecure and daft? SMH for the poor sod who calls you his son.Pleaseeee!!!!!!!!!! I only respond when I'm asked. If you go through those conversations you will notice i just tried defending most middle class nigerians who work hard and earn their money contrary to what some of you who think that anyone holding his own in Nigeria is into aome fraudulent activity. Sorry to disappoint you but my father is forever proud of me and my siblings... His children are his priority and my parents went any length to give us the best upbringing. Now bye ![]() |
defbond1: Just to mention, education in nigeria is a sorry case!!! And this is not an attack on anyone. I'm just pointing it out in case an educational instructor or minister (whatever you call them) is reading.Old man here's a bench \________, now tell us how u've failed yourself |
jennykadry: Those Aluu 4 boys that were killed, wouldn't be 6 feet under if they lived abroad. What a failure that country is, even the so called police in the community encouraged the villagers to burn them. Those kids that died at sandy hook, the ones of columbine, Virginia tech and the rest wouldn't have died if they were in Nigeria. Would you stop displaying your disgusting level of ignorance and inferiority complex. |
kingoflag: You do know that out here most kids your age dont depend on daddy or mommy to do anything for them, right? Take a wild guess why people become financially independent starting from ages 16-18yrs old out here.....Well its not my fault my parents are able to provide for me and my siblings till we become independent. I'm sorry you didn't have such luxury but don't come sobbing over your misfortune. P.s I've made a few bucks on my own, and I knw a whole lot of people ( Americans) that still depend on their parents for every single thing, you shouldn't generalize. |
jennykadry: So in other words your father knew you stood a better chance studying overseas than NIGERIA?I dunno, I'm not my father.... |
jennykadry: I chose not to be mentally retaaardeddd like you so stick to the question and stop shitting on your pants or getting all excited cos Jenny gave you a few minutes of her time.Yea definitely. A lot of people study in Nigeria and work in Nigeria. My point was just the exposure and experience you get in some schools abroad. You can't compare NYU to Unilag, same way an NYU graduate is believed to possess a better understanding of a particular case than a Unilag graduate. ( nevertheless, this may not be the case in all situations) Jenny, you clearly have nothing else to do... |
kingoflag: No, Nigeria will NEVER get there especially when people like yourself that have been exposed to the benefits of an organized society still insist on the status quo.Smh..... We will. I'm done with you |
jennykadry: So studying in nigeria will not guarantee you a good job?Why don't you have sense? Did I ever say that?.... My dad studied in Nigeria, i know so many people who studied in Nigeria and have good jobs..... Do you have a dead life ?..... Like what is your purpose on earth though?.... Nahh i just can't with you .. |
jennykadry: Be quiet please. Some people were once international students whose parents paid 25k grand per semester for a 6 year course. You think it's cheap to Study medicine ? They don't go about announcing to the nairalanders on each thread.Oh yea? Should I jump over the sky? LOOOOL... Wait! I don't get how medicine came into the discussion. Like how is it itching you though, I'm not announcing, I'm just saying. |
kingoflag: No its not "Anyone's luck"!!! God, do you even understand how a proper society is supposed to be run or do still have that 'Fresh Off The Boat' scent oozing from your underarms?!? Dude, If you made a report to the police about the robbery will the cops investigate or not? Will they ask you for a bribe before carrying out their duty? Do you run the risk of going to the Precinct to report the crime only to end up getting falsely detained and accused of a crime you didnt commit just because the Police wants to extort you? Do you trust the Nigerian Police? Now, tell me, HONESTLY , how you feel about their American counterparts.I completely get your points and sentiments and Nigeria will definitely get there. It's just a matter of time... Things cannot just change overnight, systematically and steadily we are getting there. The US is a developed nation, its over 3 centuries old, Nigeria has its problems a 52 but the good Nigerians are fighting the good fight to bring the country to its even greater heights. That's all I'm saying.... I can never diss my country because the US or UK is bla and bla ... Nahh not atall |
jennykadry: You should have said no. He won't force you. Why would he even send you overseas when he know yous could get it done in Nigeria?Because obtaining a degree abroad in a good institution would guarantee you a good job in Nigeria not to talk of better exposure and a somewhat better knowledge especially in my field of study |
kingoflag: Ummm....why do you feel the need to impress it upon me that youre an International Student? Is that meant to impress me? I already went through your old posts and I noticed you make it an habit to remind everyone that youre an international student? Remember, like you did that Ghanaian dude, and the other Nigerian one before him?LOL, its never that serious.... Nahh G, I'm not trying to impress you, not atall...just stating it as it is. I'm not one of those caught with the whole yankee or jand thing .... Nahh naija all the way ![]() |
kingoflag: How was that an insult? Are you ok? And do you realize you used "resort" in the wrong context, because you never referred to me in the first instance. That wasnt anywhere remotely close to an insult, an "insult" is probably the next post I addressed you. I guess you havent seen it yet, but I bet when you refresh you computer.....K. I live in port harcourt but we have a house in lagos so i chill with my dad there atimes and yes I go out late at night either alone or with my friends/ cousins and we chill. We obviously won't roam all the streets of lagos. We go from this guys house to that guys house.... That sorta thing like i said "my neighborhood" ... I hope you understand now. |
Bros, what do these Countries you listed have compare to Nigeria? Is China not a 3rd world country? Only Lagos state is richer than some of them but they have amenities that Nigeria as a whole don't even have. A child from a poor family only ask for Chicken during festival while the rich kids argue about what color of cow to buy. Nigeria is not a poor country and deserves better which was the reason for the Op frustration of those living outside Nigeria. The poverty level is naija is increasing the hatred its people have on fellow Nigerian living outside! And some of you wonder why some NID don't like coming/visiting Nigeria.
Please don't bring baseless beliefs based on sentiments into this place. Poverty is increasing while the middle class is growing stronger and larger? GDP is growing a poverty is increasing? ..... I keep saying this; the fact that your life has remained stagnant for 20 years doesn't mean that people aren't moving forward. |
jennykadry: Wow, so why did you leave Nigeria to study in the US? You could have done that in Lagos you know and saved your guardians money? why did you leave nigeria?Because my my dad wanted i and my brother to study abroad but hey, I'll be right back after i graduate ![]() |
kingoflag: You my friend, are a bloody liar. You arent safe walking the streets of Lagos even in the day, and you wanna take that risk at night?Oh wow, 2004 though? .... Actually Ive lived in Nigeria all my life and i always chilled with my older cousins when I was in senior secondary a couple of years ago. And we always went out late and came back in the early ours and NOTHING has ever happened. The first time i was jumped was in the US while taking a stroll to a party with my cousin on campus. Myself and my cousin were jumped by like 5 guys who were obviously drunk or have been drinking and they took our phones and cash....two of them had daggers. you are not safe in any part of the world. It's just anyone's luck. |
kingoflag: Apart from saying: "YOURE OBVIOUSLY SPECIAL", I dont now what else to say.LOOL you nitwit I'm an international student in the US and I've been studying here for about 3 years and yea, i know how things are here. Frankly I can't be bothered about how you feel about Nigeria, you're obviously a nonentity and you might as well be happy with your US or whatever first world nation you would like to compare to Nigeria. |
kingoflag: Unconsciously?! Do you have a sleeping disorder or something?!Yes result to insults..... Well I mean... I took a walk with a couple of friends around my neighborhood out of my own free will and not because someone said i should try it . You'll be alright okay... |
OmoEziokwu: No place is free from flaws whether its London, Tokyo or New York, but I swear if you have lived outside Nigeria and experienced how things work in a normal society, anytime you think about Nigeria you would just get mad! This post is annoying. RUBBISH!Nitwit! When comparing try and compare Nigeria with te other third world nations why didn't you move to Somalia, Sudan, Burkina Faso, Tanzania, India, Venezuela, chad, etc than compare Nigeria to your glorious first world nations. Obviously anyone driving a Bentley would get angry even if he was given a very tricked out Toyota or Honda and the Bentley taken away from him. So why not go these countries i mentioned then tell me how exactly you'll look at Nigeria from there. |
MacDaddy01: What if I told you that I'm actually one of the few rich Nigerians in diaspora?Lol wealthy people don't speak this way, you broke old man working in a nursing home |
Prof Corruption: I had a good laugh. This is exactly what the poster is addressing... Why lament on this? Why are yo even on a Nigerian forum? ... You left the country and you call wherever you ate home no? Now stay the F U C K OUT!!! |
elopee3000: All What u said is good my brother all nigerians can not live in oyibo land allso all nigerians can not live in naija, but if u say better thing no good buy Apple juice made with bitter leaf juice, every body like better things, and Pls one day in ur life take à walk from your house by 3 am in thé morning to to your nearest destination in naija tell me about ur journey ,ka chineke mezie okwuWhy will I just get up at 3am and walk around my neighborhood although I've unconsciously done this a couple of times and yes it was peaceful and beautiful....NOTHING HAPPENED. My God you people make it seem like everyone lives in some adjegunle or some other ghetto, like TF! |
PetroDolla: which yeye power?phcn abi nepa?population?as in producin kids like rats?wealth?with 90% of u monkey survin on $1 a day?deluded lunaticI mean power in terms of POWER and not electricity nitwit. I swear I'm yet to see that Nigerian who lives on $1 a day even my gateman gets paid 35 grand every month, that's like $270 that's like 9 bucks a day and we even feed the guy twice a day, he basically just saves his salary. The woman selling bole ( roasted plantain) will earn about N3500 that's like 70 grand a month so dude frankly you should get your facts right. I'm done with you.... |
PetroDolla: hahaha that sh1tty,dustbin country called nigger-ia is a crazy asylum filled with lunatics.demons.fake country!Awwww you poor black thing |
. |
Bigo8291: No shame in that, after all Lagos has the same pop as Ghana. Name one aspect where Nigeria beats Ghana. Look at per capital and HDI, gini, health care, education, and all other ranks.Power, population, wealth, intellect, infrastructure, entertainment, oil production..., i can go in and on |

Oh please spare me the jealous sentiments. Go and google Dangote, Adenuga, Jim ovia, Alakija and the rest. Not even one Ghanaian made the Forbes list on any ranking,; power, wealth, awards..... None! You can't compare Nigeria to Ghana... You guys don't even have the stable electricity that you continuously brag about, so please sit \____ |
Bigo8291: Yeah, u r right at least u did your research. At one point three universities in Ghana were top thirty and Nigeria had one.Nigeria produced the richest black man and woman in the world. The infrastructure in Nigeria is miles ahead of Ghana and many other African countries.... Frankly I don't want to compare both nations but your very myopic view on Nigeria is utterly disgusting. |
Bigo8291: Yeah, u r right at least u did your research. At one point three universities in Ghana were top thirty and Nigeria had one.Are we dwelling on the past or present? |
redsun: Our problem is not our African neighbours, but our leaders that are destroying our destinies even with all our natural endowments.Shut up and stop blaming politicians who already made their money before getting into politics for your misfortunes and inability to make yourself happy. |
Bigo8291: I am really trying to be civil, but I guess fools don't know how to reason without insults. Ghana universities are rank higher than its Nigeria counterparts and over all well kept unlike its Nigeria counterparts. It's only uni of Ghana that ranked higher than all nigerian universities, uni of Ibadan follows right at the back of uni of Ghana... And then OAU, Unilag and UNN before another Ghanian uni... (Google) |
COOLDUN: You are partially right, but why not the government take up more important projects like this one than Les important ones like the 16billion Vice presidents house project, this is only millions of Naira project, if you calculate the 16billion naira meant for a single house , you will see that it can give the 6 Geo political zones this great project with enough change remaining. Or how do you see it?The medical city would cost 650 million "dollars" , go and re read |

Why do you think I said this:
