So the first woman selling farm produce was earning about $25 a day thats about N4,000 a day and now she earns 5 times the amount because the roads are way better and that's N20,000 a day. Lets assume all days aren't that good, but lets say she gets in N200,000 a month. Please I'd like to know who actually lives on that $1 or $2 a day BS, like! That woman is a "roadside" seller of farm produce and she can send her kids to school, someone even said university level. |
Sweeery..I drive a 2010 Range Rover Spot and am a London Yuppy... I reallly take it u never been to London
Oh really?...... And we're all meant to be impressed by this? Yea......... Lol!!! |
Juvenile. *shakes head* Please, eduction first. With that, you may understand the point I and others like Rusher and Volvo are making.
You might as well just have quoted me.... Or are you trying to shy away man?.... Nevertheless, i rather here something else than the utter rubbish you guys are spitting. For most of you, Nigeria's economy never grows; even when there are facts and stats, you'll probably be like " how does this affect the common man and shi" but when its blatantly bad gist, its all so true! No? Nahh bro, I'm done with you guys, most of you just live in your own world where you see EVERYTHING wrong with Nigeria and everyone progressing in the country as a "thieving elite"... Like!! I really don't get that till now. Juvenile?? Dude.... You can do better aii, you'll be alright ![]() |
I should have known you were a juvenile. I mean popping champagne at the age of 18 eqautes to fulfilled life to you? Go and get an eduction first you spoilt brat. You dad should be arrested for feeding you and your underagedkid sister alcohol.
My sister wasn't given alcohol though, you keep coming up with so much nonsense. I was 18, let me remind you that the legal drinking age in Nigeria and most parts of the world is 18. LOL.... You're actually trying so hard to make sense but to me..... Well, I don't know when partying with friends and popping champagne became a sign of juvenile delinquency nevertheless I'll just state it here, I am a B+ student of mechanical engineering at the Uni i go to,I'm also in my sophomore year and my current GPA is 3.63/4. You should learn to stop generalizing though, it really makes whatever point you try to put across Null and I'm pretty sure if you had stuck to your books like I'm doing at the moment rather than generalize and form "mr know it all" you'll probably be living a better life. Yea, there's actually more to life than alcohol and partying, its really not that serious to me... It's just one of those things me and my guys do for fun, but we still have our goals in life aii... You should understand now ![]() |
obadiah777: REALLY ? ANOTHER HUMAN IS BENEATH YOU ? YOU MUST BE IMMORTALYea? Chill... Do you expect me to batter words with such an individual? I really can't be bothered. Finally I'm a human like yourself, just of a greater mindset than the unfortunate dude. |
Docii001: Why so naïve? Do you live in Nigeria at all? Do you know how many bottles a 'yahoo boy' would pop at an event? The son of a politician? The politician himself? Now what's the population of all this people? They make up only a small percentage of our total population. Ask yourself how many highbrow areas we have in lagos compared to the slums....and lagos is one of the few urban cities in Nigeria. When you start thinking of other cities in the country that can't even boast of a place like ikoyi or even magodo, then you would have a clearer picture of the 80% masses who can't afford more than 2dollars a day(the uneducated northerners, the people on minimum wage with 8 mouths to feed, the unemployed, students with poor parents, etc)Complete and utter rubbish...... So its just politicians kids, politicians and yahoo boys who pop champagne yea?.... Like!!! Who the hell is this ignorant and illiterate human... |
Once a pig, always a PIG! At 18 he's popping champagne worth over a $1k for a bottle in all those major cities of the world? On whose bill? Even Paddy Adenuga didn't "achieve" such feat at 18. So, just like you...its either his dad is one of those credit card scamming bastards or money laudering Nigerian diplomats. Tell your corrupt folks to stop popping Rose' and crytal champagne with money meant for the up keep of our smelly and unkept embassies and consulates. Scumbag!
I'm 20 though..... You can prolly go through my posts and find out the kinda person i am, not everyone is an unfulfilled nitwit like yourself..... Bye now |
Mumu boi, I said on the average. Did you say your dad was popping champagaine for juveniles? First for his 10 year daughter? This is an indictment on your irresponsible dad and clear confirmation of the champagne report and my earlier submission. And look, at 18yrs...you couldn't have partied in all those cities you mentioned except your dad is a corrupt Nigerian diplomat. Faceless online lying swines!
Yes my Dad popped bottles of champagne at both my 18th birthday and my sister 10th birthday aswell. Now you insult my father cause he decides to drink and merry with friends, family and relations on his children's birthdays, or other celebratory events..... Smh Nitwit!! This is why you can never have sense ... I'm not 18 at the moment, I was 18 two years ago. I knew you were gonna say this, the whole corrupt Nigerian diplomat thingy. Well i really don't have to prove anything to you..... nahh G, you're too beneath me, and finally believe what you choose to believe, I can't really be bothered. |
I don't know why you mofos get so riled up like wild dogs with rabies when the obvious is stated about your darling hell hole country. You will be making a fool of yourself if you think only you and your govt looting and 419/credit card scam artist family members get to see the world. Listen, maybe I didn't feel any reasonable human being would find my short sentence incomprehensible hence why I didn't bother to explain in details. I never meant that whites don't drink chanpaigne or some expensive drink...after all, they produce it. Anybody who've actually LIVED (not visited for 2 days with nigerian looted money) in any of those western world you mentioned will tell you that folks there don't go popping Rose and Crystal Chanpaigne 7 days a week. The average white folks go to pubs or bars and clubs to dance, have fun, make new friends and not pose like statues as penniless Nigerians do. All these for ugly wig wearing prostitutes filled the club. I have partied hard in both worlds, seen it all! From Sydney, Shanghai, Hong kong, Dubai to Doha. Abuja, PH, Lagos and Enugu. All you see in these Nigerian clubs are dudes who can't feed in the day popping champaigne worth hundreds of thousand weekly. They run these clubs into debt and eventually run it out. They are not even ashamed to gracefully announce to anyone who cares to listen how they will be paying N15k for very ugly wig wearing prostitutes. This living beyond one's means you can hardly notice in white folks in clubs. They drink according to their income. Beer, vodka and rum. Drink, dance, make friends and go home. This is on the average. Given, the whitefolks do pop for fun but most times, its more of a culture thing than a class thing as seen in Nigeria. WHITES MOSTLY POP CHANPAGNE WHEN THERE'S CALL FOR CELEBRATION. NIGERIANS POP IT TO IMPRESS PROSTITUTES! Rosisky, enjoy the looted government funds on champagne while it lasted.
Your comment i have to say is very baseless, and filled with a whole load of inferiority complex. Nigerians pop champagne to impress prositutes? Like! Why the hell should you generalize? Just because you and your very low class and razz friends do it doesn't mean everyone's like you. My dad popped lots of champagne at the opening ceremony of all our houses, at my 18th birthday even at my lil sisters 10th birthday party. I don't know where you go to club , in Dubai, abuja, bla bla bla but i have also partied in Lagos, Abuja, Ph, Texas, NY, ottawa and Toronto... And yea, i don't know the kind/ class of people you club or party with but when me and my friends party in any of these places we pop champagne all the time. Finally, you do tend to generalize alot.... and frankly you shouldn't. |
blink182: stop being ignorant. I've been at a wedding where the back of the hilux was loaded to the roof with champagne and assorted spirit.Nahh, i don't think so.... What about the young enterprenuers who spend N1m every Friday, or every other Friday at clubs or parties and champagne bottles are everywhere... |
merengue: God be praised!!!!! So Godogwu can get his point across in this matured manner, bros shake my hand.Well true.... I absolutely agree with you but I'd like to add that a majority of the "well employed" youths (i.e engineers, accountants, IT technicians etc) whose thoughts are like "I have a good job, live in a nice apt, drive a nice sedan, have no kids/ responsibility so I'll spoil my self a whole"... These people can actually afford most if not all of these drinks. Like! It's youth, its fun, I'm not disregarding the fact that some people's yearly income can't get them 2 bottles of crystal or Ace, but hey that's life..... Everyone can't really enjoy thesame thing and yes I always try to put across my points in a mild and mature manner, if you take it offensive, I'm sorry.... But I can't really be bothered. |
seunfly: See our leaders stole the nation dry and can't even think of better ways to spend it other than to buy houses everywhere in the world, private jet, buy useless and senseless things and worst things is that they drink the finest european champagne when average hard working and honest citizen is strugling to feed himself.Obviously its not a market for the average citizen.... An average citizen in any part of the world can't pop a crystal on the go at any time ....and a huge amount of people can drink chivita juice, those who choose not to just realize that they can prolly get another cheaper drink or sth else thats worth the money. You should understand. |
manny4life: .Always bringing the true story, facts and greater reasoning. Even though we don't agree on everything... I give you a whole load of respect |
Pataki: Nigeria is cursed with locomotive kabukabu called trains. And still you and your father lineage/ generation have never and will never produce a president. |
Fhemmmy: Thanks, but tell us in detail what he has done to make life better for y'all . . . .Correct me If I'm wrong but i don't think its the presidents duty to make life better for anybody; you owe yourself that responsibility. The president and the federal government can only put policies in place that'll make living conditions suitable for everybody in the cointry and create an even playing field for each individual. A poor lazy and lazy person who lives in mushin will not afford a house in lekki after 4 or 8 years even if Obama or whosoever you see as the best president in the world rules Nigeria. It's takes a hard working and devoted person to climb up the social ladder using the opportunities on ground. Since i was born ( early 90s) there have been different governments and presidents but that really didnt affect the financial ability of my parents because they don't depend on the government or president to provide their daily bread. I even believe that over the years, we have grown stronger financially with Nigeria's growing economy and of course profits and all. P.s this might not be the case for everyone one but i believe you get my point. |
Transperency, media attentive, humility and devotion. Daz all... |
anulaxad: LOOK HOW UGLY AND CHEAP THE AIRPORTS ARE,YET YOU ARE SCREAMING NONSENSE.K. |
Rooneyboy: That is ennn !Nahhh the guard is just a thief without remorse. He was definitely briefed by his employer about how much he was going to be earning as salary, so he has no right whatsoever to say shi. he wasn't forced to do the job no? He knew what the pay was and agreed to the terms, i just believe he's just another thief trying to justify his acts. |
Adonis Ugeeseus: There's sometin u two ITK's are 4getting which I'll kindly remind *clears his throat*:KIM IS POPULAR FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!! Damn,a lady who became popular cos of a leaked sex tape is who is being paid 2 increase popularity ratings 4 a show?! SMH and u're feeding me crap about PR nonsense, mtcheeeeew! Please make a compromising video and get popular.....Nitwit Some of you really need to keep calm, its not her fault you're useless.... |
bluesaint: I'm not here to measure wealth, u can take your case to the forbes. But if u actually know what the human mind is capable of achieving, then you will understand that in whichever class you find yourself, its all a product of your to remain there. Rich or poor. The wealthy ones we read of today, most of which were not born rich, worked their way up the ladder. But I see that U and I are obviously not operating on thesame level of IQ and believe. That's cool.OUCH ! |
Olodostein: Hahaha, See this first class joker. When they ought to be reforming the justice system and using our revenues to honestly do their work by putting the right Infrastructure/security apparatus in place for investors. They go on a spending spree to attract what? Get your facts straight fella... There is an ongoing campaign to use trash entertainers to control the minds of the docile Naija youth( dem politicians must be smart (sociologists).Darey is an entertainer and a businessman, i cannot be bothered how he spends his money. If he decides to fly in Beyonce, Paris Hilton or whoever and pays $2m, its really not my buisness. You can keep whining about rubbish no one cares about, fact is he has made huge bucks from the concert he organised and you are well...... Finally, i don't expect everyone to agree with me or the other guy.. So yea, i understand you |
Vancouverplus: See pride... See wise man.. See poor man talking . Acting like a rich man. "[s]people will always remain poor, yes! And this is because they chose to be poor[/s]" I'm 100% sure that I'm richer than u. Also, I live in one of the best country in the world. I will never say those stupid words about the poor. Learn bro.seen... |
bluesaint: Thanks bro, educate some of these block heads on NL. If Darey can single handedly pay and fly a high profile celeb such as Kim K down to Nigeria Amidst all the security ish facing the nation, then Edem Duke should have been there to shake hands and show her around. That gesture alone will make alota American Celebs to wana come spend money n chill in naija, thus giving our tourism sector a high. And If Darey paid her $500,000, what's our business? Is it your money? Don't you think he must have gained even more? That is pure show business! Some of you here are so nosey and foolish! You always make excuses for people's failure such as poverty...go tell that to the government and not Darey! Maybe U want him to sink his money into charity, well, he is not Bill Gate.Soo on point!! |
Darey is very honest...cos ow will a guy who is not even worth $100,000 pay kimmy pregnashian 500
And you know darey's worth somehow because your his accountant? Frankly I don't believe kim can come to naij for a show if she's not expecting good money, like common this girl bought a $300,000 for kanye....Nigerians needs to chill...there's money in Nigeria, people need to understand that there'll always be wealthy and poor people, no matter the location or whatever. |
LMAOOOOOOO!!!!!! Aii G
