blackpanda:sure. you obviously have nothing else to say. |
blackpanda:LOL, 90% living below $1 a day?. that's rubbish and you know it. as of 2013 the population below the poverty line was 25% https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Nigeria. I agree that Jonathan was in no way the best for Nigeria, but his achievements far outweigh whatever Buhari has had to offer so far. Buhari's constant wailing over the past govt is becoming redundant and unnecessary. I believe he should focus and work rather than blame everyone but himself for the current economic conditions in the country. |
banki:Please don't joke around. you cannot compare Ngozi's achievement for the economy and the country to whatever Kemi thinks she is doing now. its in no way comparable. |
piperson:real tears . LMAOO! |
luvinhubby:Did you even read or calculate the figures? |
so??, How much is are hummers? utter rubbish |
This post is so BS it's ridiculous. Look at the source some of you illiterates, nigerianfilms bla bla bla... What the hell is that?... Total legit salary of a senator is not more than N35m a year. They likely earn a little over permanent secretaries and commissioners. |
SirShymex:Bentley Mulsanne man not a flying spur |
TDstarr:why you dey vex? is it your money...is it your money? |
jojoki:Ok fam, so whats the use of anything? why not just stay home, do nothing, don't eat even since everything is vanity. I'm sure the bible also specified that Solomon was rich, a number of Pastors around the world own private jets and live the lifestyle of the elite, no one complains But when it comes to showing off a few nice cars and a nice house which he probably thanked God for giving his father, it becomes vain. Fam! lets face it, most things in this world are vain because they are manmade and don't glorify God. |
jojoki:LOOL hypocrites....hypocrites everywhere. |
BiHung:This is true, however with the social class you keep in schools like this, you are likely never going to be poor. 9 out of 10 times their parents are already well to do, probably influential and have connections. Therefore getting into Uni and eventually getting good jobs won't be as difficult. |
mickyarams:well thats UK and they have had over 100 years to make their education the best it could be. Try not to compare it with a that of a third world country aii |
rattlesnake:Loool Rubbish! |
pendy79:I completely agree. He was probably naive of the effect this would bring. Nonetheless there is only so much he can do as a president that could stop these terrorists for good and release this girls. Its a very sticky situation to be honest, not to make excuses for the president but I doubt he has just been folding his arms and doing nothing over this issue. |
pendy79:I see your point clearly but the guy is human and this may be his wife's or family's idea of a close knit gathering amongst family and friends to celebrate his birthday. Its not like he took over the intercontinental or Hilton hotel to throw a big bash. |
Both are talented and beautiful. Seyi edges out Tiwa in looks... She's hot. |

khanivorous: Batty boiHe's just human....that's a weakness. |
geeez: With BRF, Bill Gates looks like he was visiting the president of a developed countryshallow, to say the least. |
sanniemoe: A hardworking Nigerian CANT AFFORD THIS.now this is complete and utter rubbish. what do you mean a hardworking Nigerian can't afford this? what about Ceos, bank managers, directors, Engineers and contractors can all afford this without too much stress. There are even hard working government officials like, permanent secetaries, head of service, ministers, commissioners etc who can also afford places like this. Frankly, its really not that serious. |
dhensity: donJazzy 4uckup dis tyme sha, he should ve called wandecoal at least...instead of disgracing him on social media!!!.i heard donJazzy's version nd wandecoal's own ..WC actually stole it..but there re better wayz 2 settlle it than bringn d brawl online.why should he call?, did wande call him in advance to let him know he stole his song word for word and beat for beat?. Its really plain and simple; Wande coal totally messed up and he's falling back to sentiments just like brymo is doing in his own situation. Its really because its Nigeria, this sort of rubbish wande pulled can ruin careers on the international platform. Wande could have just ended everything by apologizing and even in a fun way give Don jazzy credit for the song but nahh the guy wants to pull the crowd by using sentiments. |
okoli chibuzor: Hahahhahahahhahahahhahahahahahha ...... Yes u can't survival in nigeria politics reason because no one to link up also even if u survive in nigeria politics u will still be a rooter....... Who told u are the best cbn governor. Even what have u don. Thank God for ;Dsoludo who has laid down some map for u......... plz go and sleep mr lamidowhat exactly is this nitwit saying? If you read the statement, he clearly states that "being a good central banker" he never said he is the best. Which is quite humbling considering that he has bagged the best central bank governor in Africa for the past 3 years and one of the best in the world. Finally, i completely agree with Sanusi. Politics in general is for a unique kind of people and Nigerian politics needs a lot more than brains and eloquent speaking to be successful. |
GustavoFring: I agree.you and anyone who believes this is obviously deluded. |
kingoflag: Biased cus I pointed out that youre a soft biyytch aszz punk that got robbed on campus probably cus you went out there with your nose in the air thinking, as always, that youre better than everyone else and some youngns decided to let you know this aint Africa? Lool We are not in the same class? Of course we are not---and cannot be--- in the same class. You should hand your father the keyboard lets compare class. Dummy, you think its by being fake bourgeois on an anonymous forum? Man, GTFOH!this guy....whatever helps you sleep at night, I just can't with this Lmao! |
kingoflag: This dude, youre just dumb as hell its unbelievable. No wonder those kids in your school knew you were soft enough to get robbed of your belongings without a weapon on---of all places--- a college campus! Can you please get a life....like! please leave me alone!!. You are a really biased person and can result to insults too easily. I've told you that we're clearly not of the same class and can't batter words with you. I and the other poster acknowledged each others points and there were no insults involved. Like i said before when you let go of your sentiments and hate then we can have an argument. Bye. |
kingoflag: Wait, didnt you say you lived out here in the United States for a few years now, so how the hell do you know how the electricity situation is?My entire family lives in Nigeria, I on the other hand go to school in the US with my brother and theres google; you can always do a little bit of research. |
ba7man: How is G.E.J's administration creating a favourable environment for investors??refer to my last post, I gave an "ok" explanation...I think. |
How? Is it by better access to funding, better power, better technology infrastructure like cheaper Internet connectivity, better road networks, tax breaks for startups, investment in research, 72 hour cheap business incorporation etc. What has the government done to ensure that an entrepreneur will find it easier starting up in Nigeria than, say, Kenya? Talk to any of these entrepreneurs and they'll tell you how difficult the market is. The only reason they're here is out of necessity to create livelihoods in a 160m market. The population is huge and at least 10% of them have decent purchasing power. That's the biggest selling point, not "enabling environment and fresh air".
I don't work for or with the federal government so I cannot give you stats but you can see it in the everyday lives and activities. 1. power generation has increased significantly over the past few years and yea its a fact that some people get close to 23hrs of electricity everyday. 2. I don't know about cheaper internet connectivity but there has been a surge in technology and infrastructure in Nigeria. (well I guess thats why the world bank, IMF and other organizations keep saying the economy is one the fastest growing in the world.) 3. Better roads are built or repaired as the days go by in Nigeria, every unbiased Nigerian would testify to this, its not the perfect or the best but its way better than 5-6 years ago. A large number of airports are being remodeled or built in different states in Nigeria to enhance the free flow of business for these entrepreneurs and business owners. The government also set up programs like SURE-P, YOUWIN etc and they are already yielding productive and effective entrepreneurs in the society. 4. I don't actually know if the government has done anything that will favor Nigeria over kenya for entrepreneurs but thats really subjective. Personally i'd rather invest or start a business in any of the two than in South Africa, just by looking at the figures of GDP growth, Economic growth, financial stability etc. 5. Nigeria on its own is a very competitive place, you can't be lazy and expect the government to give you everything. As an entrepreneur, you have to be creative and take all the risks (calculated). If you eventually make it, you'd probably make it big depending on the scale of your business examples are Jason Njoku, Dangote, Adenuga, Dbanj, Donjazzy, Coscharis etc. Finally, i'm not going to give all the credit to GEJ or his government but I really don't think entrepreneurs will succeed as much in nations like Somalia, Chad, Sudan, Haiti etc in comparison to emerging Nations like Ghana, Nigeria, Ethopia and Kenya. |
ba7man: Which favourable environment?Your assessment is just amusing, is it the FG thats kidnapping, employing militants, boko haram or creating corruption?...Corruption alone starts from the everyday Nigerian; the people in government aren't from mars. Thesame goes for kidnapping and the rest, its mostly useless and unaccomplished people like yourself that go about doing all sorts just because you believe the federal government should provide your every need. Finally, i totally agree with the other poster that the federal government has made the economy more favorable for entrepreneurs and investors. |
kingoflag: This dude sharrrap if u don't have a good retort, no be by force to post. Look at u all over the place like rastafarian dreads, answering to everything but his point.Get out of my hair man, i'm done educating you...you really have alot of issues you need to deal with. When you let go of all your sentiments, hate for my country and probably sort out your issues then we can have a discussion, till then....cheers! |
debbleopto: unbelievable lying. So you enjoy pumping water, generating electricity, securing yourself. with that money. That's why you don't have rest of mind and Mr GODOGODO HAVE YOU NOT READ THAT THOUSAND RICH MEN GO INDIA FOR TREATMENT AND SPEND MUCH OF THEIR MONEY THERE. SOME EVEN DIED THERE AFTER SPENDING ALMOST THEIR WEALTH.Yes, yes i enjoy pumping my own water and generating my own electricity until the government fixes all that. Come to think of it, i'll still prefer to pump my own water and not pay ridiculous water bills to the government. I can run my Generator for 30-40mins (thats if there's no power at that point) and have water for 2-3 days so what the heck?...i'm good. I don't care if a thousand rich men go to india for treatment, thats totally their business. Nigeria is still developing and we'll definitely come to a point where the need to travel abroad for treatment would be obscure. I really don't get what you're point, should we all leave Nigeria because its not as developed as the first world countries? |
?? Omo,its either u a drug baron,politician,or most likely a fraudster.
