I personally think it is foolishness & stupidity to attribute every developmental stride in Lagos to Tinubu. Tinubu was the governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007. He may av influenced his successors, however, it is a sign of a leader who is power hungry and corrupt. It will interest you to know that every novel investment in Lagos State has nothing less than 20% of Tinubu's stake. If u think Tinubu is the leader of the Yoruba tribe, then ask ursef why only Lagos state is thriving? What investments has he brought to Osun, his home state? This is not about 2023 election, it is a statement of fact.
We lead you fools follow.

Have you ever see we yorubas talk about any state in your sad easthuh We won't cos we know they are all shit holes.

Keep hating tinubu and lagos.....keep moving into lagos in your night buses.

Some animals from sad east prayer is to always hear bad news about this country.

No good news give them joy.....they always want to see our soldiers dead.

We true Nigerians will continue to appreciate the effort of our force men/women putting there life on the line for us to be safe.

It's funny how foolish, ignorant & myopic urchins say that Lagos State which was the former capital of Nigeria for almost 80 years was built by Tinubu.
So, if for example the capital of Nigeria is moved from Abuja to Rivers state, & Tinubu becomes the governor of Abuja tomorrow, would the foolish urchins also say he built Abuja?
It's really difficult supporting Tinubu without sounding foolish.

I'm sure you must have heard about revitalisation fund. These funds are not meant not federal universities alone. The TETFUND most states' universities enjoy today were outcome of ASUU's agitation.

After the strike, whatever agreement reached by federal universities with FG, will serve as a yardstick when states' universities are negotiating with their individual employer.

Btw, do you know that polytechnics and colleges earn more than university's staff.

Do you know that River State Government pay state University staff more than the federal University staff.
Ok

Just this quick question.

When state universities have issues with the state government how come the whole body don't go on strike.

I finished from lautech.....when our lecturer were have issues with the oyo and osun state going on numerous strikes....why didn't the whole body of ASUU join the strike??

Tetfund my foot....how many projects did tetfund execute in lautech compare to unilag.

River state is paying more but most lecturers will prefer a federal universities job to state.....what am I missing??

Education › What Does State Uni Stand To Gain From ASUU Strike by Godoverevery(op): 9:58am On Aug 25, 2022
I don't get the rational behind state Universities involved in this strike.

This are my questions

If FG should agree to ASUU demand today this only applies for federal Universities or is it applicable to all universities in nigeria.

State universities pay high tuition fees compare to federal universities so are state universities no meant to channel there demands to there respective governments.

Are ASUU state universities chapter negotiating with governors of there states aswell because whatever FG approve are they ready to approve as well.

We all know state governments cannot fund universities like FG so won't this lead to another crises.

I need someone to clarify things please.

What did I just read?
Hostels are overcrowded, labs are grossly lacking in tools, research work is zilch, libraries are shii, power dead, everything that makes a university what it should be in the 21st Century is totally absent, yet this buffoon expects business to continue as usual?

Is fg also going to fund state Universityhuh

I don't mean to drag this; I just wanted to drop a comment and leave.

But you mentioned intimidation in your comment, when all I did was say I'm not broke.

That aside, women who want to marry men earning 100k should go ahead. All fingers are not equal. I wish them well, and pray that God will expand their coast.

It just can't be me. I can't be caught entering hot oil with both eyes open.

You didn't call me broke. My saying I'm not broke only shows I already live in a certain way, enjoy certain luxuries, and would not accept anything below that standard.

And yes, it's totally wrong to expect someone to provide certain things you cannot provide for yourself.
Very good...........let everyone stick to there class and not intimidate anyone.

No matter one's level.....there will always be people lower and above you.

That the beauty of life.

I agree with you.

I'm not broke and I don't intend to marry a man who earns 100k. He will drag me down from level 10 to 1.
Where did I say you are broke or force's you to marry a man who earn 100k

Am only saying it makes no sense for anyone to desire a lifestyle you can't earn for yourself.

Even the bible says dependent on any man is vain.

You're right, to an extent. Everybody cannot be the same.
I know families who earn less than that, and they're living fine and happy.

But it can't be me. I no fit see fire come enter am with my two legs.

Make people wey fit survive with 100k continue. God will see them through. I wish them well.

Those wey dey go Maldives for anniversary and UK for summer holiday no get two heads.

If a lady is comfortable marrying a man who earns 100k so that chicken republic will be looking like luxury to her kids, she should go ahead. More power to her elbow.
So a man has be the one to give you that life style you desire huh What a nice plan.

Rich men marry rich ladies......look around you.

If you have being visiting the UK for summer with your money or parent money then there no issue but if your plans of visiting uk is solely dependent on the man you marry then I must confess there something wrong somewhere.

If all men should stick to standards when it comes to marriage alot of ladies will never ever marry in this country.

How many ladies have make 1 million naira ??

So after reading the thread a lady made saying 100k is too small to run a family....I must confess that one myopic thread I have read in awhile.

(Firstly single guys this a serious warning to you all......make sure you never date/marry a ladies who want things they aren't ready to work for)

Earning 100k in lagos isn't the same as Earning 100k in kwara.....cost of living varies from state to state.

How many people have a job that pays above 150k this dayshuh People have different side hustle to support there income.

As a man you must be honest with yourself on how you want to run your family based on your income.

No matter how hard we all hustle people will find themselves in lower class, middle class, upper class financially....this classes are not permanent because alot will happen over the years.

Let me use a state like osun or kwara which I have stayed before as an example with 100k Earning.

Rent (2 bed room) =10- 15k per month that about 120-180 per year depending on area of the state.

Food is very cheap in this states so with 20-25k you can buy foodstuff that will last a month.

Transportation is extremely cheap so 10k is okay a month.....depending on the nature of your job or business.

You can conveniently save15-20k every month.

You are left with 25-30k to spend on emergencies or unforseen expenditures.

In this states you will live comfortably with 100k with your wife if you don't live a luxurious lifestyle.

Guys dont let a confuse human being staying in her parent house who feel every part of Nigeria is lagos discourage you from starting a family.

Once you Earning 80-100k constantly you can start a small family....you just need a partner who can assist with 40-50k you are good to go.

When you start having kids you must have save up to easy things.

Guys if you know your family is dependent on you don't marry a lady from a family who are also not financially buoyant.......save yourself from stress and burden.

Most of our parents got married with absolutely nothing but today they have houses and cars through hard work and dedication.

We all have our times in life and we are free to choose whichever type of life we want.

There is no one way to living a good life never forget this.

Nigeria doesn't start and end in lagos,Abuja,pH.......alot of families are in many states earnings 100k and are doing fine.

Throwback:
Dude stop disgracing yourself.

Any major shareholder or an appointed delegate of such can become a bank Chairman or Chairwoman of the board.

That is how it works.

Oloye Olusola Saraki was a Medical Doctor that partnered with the French Société Generale Bank in Nigeria, and became the Chairman of that bank.

The same way Femi Otedola can later push to be Chairman or have anyone he delegates to become the Chairman of First Bank.

As long as you have the funds to buy the shares of any company and be the majority, you can become its Chairman as long as you are literate (you can read or write), no need for any fancy tertiary education.

And how did I belittle Ob? Na beans to become Chairman of a multi billion Naira enterprise?

What we are clarifying is that being Chairman of a bank does not make you a banker. It only means you have a substantial stake or you represent someone who has a substantial stake in the outfit.

Being Chairman of a Furniture company or an Engineering company doesn't make you a Carpenter or an Engineer.

Bukola Saraki who also graduated as a Medical Doctor like his father, is a Banker because unlike his father, he worked in the bank as a staff in different capacities before becoming a Director.

Shettima is a banker who worked with Zenith Bank. Peter Obi is not a banker but was a Bank Chairman.

Anyone who can be Chairman of any large enterprise regardless of the sector, can as well function as a Bank Chairman. It is the same function regardless of the sector of industry.

Let me bust your bubble.

Advertising doyen, Sir Steve Omajafor of erstwhile Lintas Advertising and his own STB-McCann Advertising, later became Chairman of Zenith Bank.

I hope I have educated you? You can keep your wager.
Bukola sariki isn't a medical doctor rather veterinary doctor.

Just want to correct that.
