SanDisk’s 1TB Extreme microSD card is the biggest capacity that it’s ever sold, and you can buy one... for $449.99. As for where you can buy it right now, it’s available on SanDisk’s store. B&H Photo is also accepting orders for the memory card. Amazon has a product listing, though it’s currently unavailable in the US. You can purchase it through Amazon if you live in Spain, Germany, or the UK. Per Tom’s Guide, though, depending on where you live, deliveries have been delayed up to three months at the time of writing. SanDisk’s Extreme lineup of microSD cards advertise 160MB/s read and 90MB/s write speeds, and its new high-capacity card follows suit. As such, it’s the better choice over SanDisk’s Ultra microSD card if you capture a lot of 4K video. File transfers and load times should be a little quicker, too. If you’re interested in getting one of these 1TB microSD cards, you should make sure that your device is compatible. Nintendo’s FAQ doesn’t put a cap on on card sizes accepted by the Switch, though Amazon’s Fire tablets top off at 256GB of microSD storage. According to the manufactures site, its features include: Built for extreme conditions temperature proof, water proof, shock proof, and x-ray proof(3) Delivers 4K Ultra HD and Full HD video recording and playback(1) Meets the new UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) and UHS Video Speed Class 30 (V30) for 4K UHD(4) Transfer faster with read speeds up to 90MB/(5) Up to 1TB2 for more space to catch the thrill Owning the first-ever 1TB microSD card seems cool. But if that distinction isn’t as important to you as saving money is, there are a few smaller options that are at their best prices yet. Samsung’s 512GB microSD card costs $99.99 at Amazon. Alternatively, SanDisk’s Ultra 400GB microSD card is down to $56.99. Source: https://urbanwebspace.com/2019/05/16/sandisks-1tb-extreme-microsd-card/

A new model of Oppo's Find X, the no-notch phone with a slide out selfie-camera, is coming with 10GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Details of the upcoming variant of Oppo's flagship were spotted by phone leaker Ice universe on the website of Chinese tech regulator the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (TEENA). The listing on TEENA's site was found by Gizmochina. This could make the Oppo Find X the first phone in the world with this much memory, which is also larger than many PCs available today and more than double the 4GB of RAM in the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. For Oppo, though, 10GB of RAM in the forthcoming Find X is a relatively minor bump up from the already released Find X, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage as well as an iPhone XS Max-like price tag of about $1,159. Also vying for the first 10GB smartphone is fellow BBK Electronics brand Vivo, which is said to be releasing the Xplay7 with 10GB of RAM. Oppo, known for packing higher-end features into budget phones, is the world's fifth largest smartphone brand by shipments, behind Xiaomi, Apple, Huawei, and leader Samsung, according to IDC's Q2 figures. Oppo, via its Realme brand for India, also yesterday launched the Realme 2 Pro for between $200 and $250, depending on memory and storage. The phone comes with a Snapdragon 625 processor and a 6.3-inch full HD edge-to-edge screen with a small notch at the top. The cheapest option comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and the top-end version comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The phone features dual rear cameras with 16-megapixel (MP) and 2MP sensors with a 16MP front camera. watch the video review here https://urbanwebspace.com/2018/10/03/oppo-find-x-worlds-first-10gb-ram-phone/

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARpd5J5gDMk Japan’s Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, or AIST, has developed a Japanese Humanoid robot (HRP-5P) that can carry out simple construction tasks, like installing drywall. You can watch in the video above how the Japanese Humanoid robot (HRP-5P) steps up to a piece of drywall, uses hooks to maneuver it into its rotating hands, and nails it into the wall. The robot works about as fast as a teen doing Habitat for Humanity, but still, it gets the job done. According to the inventor, Along with the declining birthrate and the aging of the population, it is expected that many industries such as the construction industry will fall into serious manual shortages in the future, and it is urgent to solve this problem by robot technology. AIST imagines the Japanese Humanoid robot (HRP-5P) being used on construction sites in response to Japan’s aging population and labor shortages. The research institute is aiming for autonomous replacement of labor at assembly sites for large structures, such as buildings, houses, aircrafts, and ships. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQu904BuP1Q Microsoft SwiftKey 's Android smart keyboard which uses the Microsoft Translator technology artificial intelligence to translate text into more than 60 languages, is now integrated with SwiftKey 's Android smart keyboard . “We wanted to make it so easy for users to translate both incoming messages and text that they type themselves, ” says Colleen Hall, senior product manager for SwiftKey from the London division. Microsofta cquired SwiftKey in 2016. Hall noted that the real-time translation feature is especially convenient for exchanging messages with relatives, friends and colleagues speaking different languages. As soon as the user taps the Microsoft Translator icon on the SwiftKey keyboard , the application will begin to translate the text as it is entered, and also to translate the incoming messages that the user will copy. "To translate the text, now no need to exit the keyboard application, ”Hall explained. The application remembers the user's preferences, eliminating the need to scroll through the full list of more than 60 available languages each time the translation function is turned on, and choose which language to translate into which language. SwiftKey users who have also downloaded the Microsoft Translator application have the option to translate offline, which allows, for example, to translate emails during trips abroad. Microsoft Translator is part of the Azure Cognitive Services cognitive services , which are a set of artificial intelligence algorithms. At the moment, the translation feature is available to SwiftKey users on Android devices . “We have always strived to make our applications available in many languages, ” Hall says, “and now the Translator helps us in this .” https://urbanwebspace.com/2018/10/02/microsoft-android-smart-keyboard-translate-text-realtime/ |
if you've been logged out of your fb account and asked to sign back in, it's because a security issue has been discovered and your account is suspected to be affected. latest Facebook security breach reports from the Facebook engineering team has shown that over 50 million facebook accounts might have been compromised, as hackers tried to exploit one of their user features known as the “View AS”. We’re taking this incredibly seriously and wanted to let everyone know what’s happened and the immediate action we’ve taken to protect people’s security,” the company said. Below, You can read the news update as written on there newsroom. On the afternoon of Tuesday, September 25, our engineering team discovered a security issue affecting almost 50 million accounts. We’re taking this incredibly seriously and wanted to let everyone know what’s happened and the immediate action we’ve taken to protect people’s security. Our investigation is still in its early stages. But it’s clear that attackers exploited a vulnerability in Facebook’s code that impacted “View As”, a feature that lets people see what their own profile looks like to someone else. This allowed them to steal Facebook access tokens which they could then use to take over people’s accounts. Access tokens are the equivalent of digital keys that keep people logged in to Facebook so they don’t need to re-enter their password every time they use the app. Here is the action we have already taken. First, we’ve fixed the vulnerability and informed law enforcement. Second, we have reset the access tokens of the almost 50 million accounts we know were affected to protect their security. We’re also taking the precautionary step of resetting access tokens for another 40 million accounts that have been subject to a “View As” look-up in the last year. As a result, around 90 million people will now have to log back in to Facebook, or any of their apps that use Facebook Login. After they have logged back in, people will get a notification at the top of their News Feed explaining what happened. latest facebook security breach Updated on September 28, 2018 at 1:08PM PT to include image of notification. Third, we’re temporarily turning off the “View As” feature while we conduct a thorough security review. This attack exploited the complex interaction of multiple issues in our code. It stemmed from a change we made to our video uploading feature in July 2017, which impacted “View As.” The attackers not only needed to find this vulnerability and use it to get an access token, they then had to pivot from that account to others to steal more tokens. Since we’ve only just started our investigation, we have yet to determine whether these accounts were misused or any information accessed. We also don’t know who’s behind these attacks or where they’re based. We’re working hard to better understand these details — and we will update this post when we have more information, or if the facts change. In addition, if we find more affected accounts, we will immediately reset their access tokens. People’s privacy and security is incredibly important, and we’re sorry this happened. It’s why we’ve taken immediate action to secure these accounts and let users know what happened. There’s no need for anyone to change their passwords. But people who are having trouble logging back into Facebook — for example because they’ve forgotten their password — should visit our Help Center. And if anyone wants to take the precautionary action of logging out of Facebook, they should visit the “Security and Login” section in settings. It lists the places people are logged into Facebook with a one-click option to log out of them all. https://urbanwebspace.com/2018/09/28/latest-facebook-security-breach-reports/
