Wow, so sorry to hear this. Like someone advised, check the genuineness of the visa before buying flight ticket.

The information you need to link your application to a GCKey account includes the following:

1. Application Details
Either of:
a. Application Number and Family Name
b. Application Number and Unique Client Identifier (UCI)
c. Family Name, Given Name(s) and Date of Birth
d. Unique Client Identifier (UCI) and Family Name.

Just one of the options.

2. Applicant's Personal Information
Either:
a. Passport Details (such as Passport Number, Country/Territory of Issue, Issue Date, Expiry Date)
or
b. Place of Birth (City/town of Birth, Country/territory of birth)


3. Information about the applicant's study in Canada
You must provide the following information:
i. When does the applicant's program start?
ii. When does the applicant's program end? (in my experience, you can leave it blank if you don't know)
iii. Designated Learning Institute (DLI) Number.


On how to get the information such as UCI and Application number, check any letter of correspondence given to you by the agent, which is sent by IRCC such as biometrics collection letter.
For your DLI Number, you can check it on Canada's website, just Google the name of your school+DLI number. Your program start date can be gotten from either your admission letter or checking the school's website. You're DLI number might be on your admission letter as well.

When you have all these information, create a GCKey account and click on the add(link) application text.

The most important thing of all is that the information you provide tallies exactly with what was filled and submitted by the agent.

before she started work,initial payment of her workmanship was made, and as soon as the visa was approved. i.e. after PPR and the passport was sent back, her balance was made that was when i got my passport back from her, however trouble started when i requested the log in details to the school's portal and L.O.I she was reluctant to drop the info, it resulted to a heated argument we involved the police but she bribed them later on and the police withdrew the case. I had to contact the school myself to request for my details which was not an easy task on my side, eventually my login details was released to me after thorough scrutiny and explanation from me, then we discovered why she refused to release the details.
we found out that the school fees deposit we sent her to pay for last year's admission was not paid and the receipt given to us was fake as at then. my admission was deferred because decision came in very late hence my reasons for applying for another session, to cover up her criminal acts she had to pay up of recent, she must have thought the visa was not going to be given which costs her double because of the current exchange rate, i think this is why she has decided to punish me.
all i have with me are my personal details, now i regret going through an agent. what info do i need to link up my GCKEY TO A NEW APPLICATION? without my LOI i am helpleess, i really need a solution

By electronically sign, you mean the part where the applicant's full name is required before submission then yes, it should be the applicant that will electronically sign.

If truly you have completed payment to the agent, then she ought to have sent you the necessary info and given you access to your portal.

Did you make complete the payment before or after the visa was approved? And was it the agent that told you that the visa has been approved?

There's a way to link your application to a new GCkey but you'll need some information.

I need your candid advice please.
I contacted an agent to help me process a Canada study visa for my self. To cut the long story short, The visa has been approved and the agent has been fully paid, i have my passport with me already but she has refused to drop all log in to both the visa portal and to the email for receiving messages from IRCC. She has even refused giving us letter of introduction which is an important document for traveling. I don't have the LOI I remember asking her about it earlier on but she declined to provide it to me, I have gone to VFS twice but they said they can’t help. although they verified the authenticity of the visa because i gave them my passport to verify, they asked me to go and sort things out with my agent, i am due to travel for my program by January, but as it stands i am helpless, this is already freaking me out guys! she has refused to pick my calls, she is nowhere to be found, all efforts to reach her has proved abortive and even sent a message, claiming to have traveled out of the country,
please what can be done? Help me out here

I think you can submit it to the nearest to you. But it might cost you, it is usually better to submit to the VFS Office where you had your biometrics.

There's May intake. Cape Breton University (CBU) offers Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Business Management. It's a 2-year course and you'll be eligible for 3 years Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) after completion of the program. The last semester is usually Internship or capstone project, your choice. Tuition fee for the whole program is $29,293 (Canadian Dollars). The first semester is about $9.5k and the first year is less than $16.7k all Canadian Dollars.

The school is located in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. I think they have a human resources program but I'm not sure. You can check on that. But I know that their Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Business Management program has Human resources and organisational behaviour courses.

Good morning house.. I have a situation and I need urgent response.

My Visa got approved August 03, but my admission had already been cancelled by my school due to not reporting for orientation before deadline date. I wasn't given option to defer because already deferred twice. I was asked to reapply which I did, but my new application was denied by the school.

My passport has been stamped, so I want to ask , will start the whole process of visa application if I get admission from another school? Or will this Visa still be valid?

Can you let us know why they denied you admission? After they have previously given you before. Did you let them know that your visa wasn't ready in time to meet the orientation date or it was virtual and you failed to join? I suggest you appeal to them and tell them that you have everything set to join them right away, including tuition fee payment. Because using a different DLI at this point means fresh visa application and trust me you won't want that stress again with the whole backlog that IRCC is currently dealing with.

Jaiz that was a supposed leader in Form A processing time, kept me on hold since Sept. 6 for tuition. had to pull out my funds go GTB where i know say korokoro money for hand, back for ground will get me what i want.

All those emails are just for records purposes. they are not doing any 60 or 500 days anything.

They will keep you in the line and be passing backyard people over you.

UBA sent a mail last month or so, they no longer give cash. Its now in a debit card like Access does.

They also sent a mail stating that FORM A is now a minimum of 6 weeks, Access sent theirs stating that its now a minimum of 60days i.e. 2 months.

The FX challenge is only getting worse by the day with no resolution in sight. God help us

You are partially wrong ..

Each person is entitled to 4k / Quarter but because of the scarcity of FX, some banks don't even give cash. Some give the 4K in a debit card.

Also, PTA can only be applied for 2weeks to departure date as the flight ticket is checked to ensure it meets the requirement.

Also, if you can't get the 4k from one bank, you can try to get 2k each from two banks.

Oh, well. We are essentially saying the same thing, I guess that explains the "partially", lol. You just elaborated further. More recently, dollar has been scarce and people are waiting months to get theirs. So I figured out a way to get it in 2-3wks guaranteed, no stories. But if you also have specific branches or know someone at any bank that can perhaps facilitate the process and enable one to get the whole $4k then kindly let me know please.

When I travelled in June, I was only able to get $3k cash over counter in exactly two weeks after submitting the PTA form A application, but it's much tougher now.
