No. I didn't forgot anything. The definition is not broader than I said. Various people which where brought up in religious settings have arrived at atheism in various ways, thats is true, but there is quite a few people that never where theists to begin with. I have essentially never in any way, shape or form been religious, and have never been in religious settings. So I didn't really arrive at being an atheist. I always was. Religion is a cultural thing. The best predictor for what religion you happen to get is what society you are growing up in. If you happen to grow up in primarily muslim country you very likely end up being muslim. If you're living in a christian country, you will likely end up christian, the same for hindu or Buddhist or any other religion which happens to dominate your living quarters. Sure, its not true for every single individual, but on average the correlation is obvious.

What I mean when I say that science in itself have no actual bearing on the belief in super natural entities is that science in itself don't have the goal, nor the capacity, to disprove or prove a super natural entity. Sure it doesn't help the christian faith, all in all, that we can reduce genesis to nothing for instance, nor does it help that we can trace the mythology all the way back through Egyptian cultures to the Sumerian times. Nor does it help that we have a fair grasp of the expansion of the universe back to a Planck length after big bang. But technically it could exist super natural beings hidden somewhere in the gaps of knowledge that we have. No, the real clincher is the absence of evidence for a supernatural entity at all. After all; if it is suggested that such an entity exists, i would expect solid evidence for it, but no such things are found, I therefore default to not accepting the proposition of a supernatural being.

So when Jesus said He would come sooner He didn't know How to measure time in respect to our fragile life span?

And He said in the scriptures "........verily I say unto you that this generation will not die and will witness the second coming of christ."

Its either that the generation still walks amongst us as immortals or they are have been taken as He promised them.

The nation Nigeria despite negative criticisms about other behaviours are known for the great men of God raised by Jehovah amongst the nation .

Father Lord we pray for these your servants , that your oil of great annointing will not run dry on their heads .
That they will run the race and not fall in Jesus name.

That the forces of hell will not win against them , their families and ministries in Jesus name .
That you will give them supernatural strenght and intelligence to do the work you assigned to them

Jehovah we pray that ever fresh revelation of your Word will continue to emerge from their mouths even as they continue to dwell under your shadow of power .

We pray father that their children -both biological and spiritual shall be blessed and protected from all assaults of the devil and its agents .

We pray against embarrasment and shame that the enemies want to bring into the church . The Lord shall disgrace every satanic agents with ulterior motives to bring down the work of the Almighty in the various ministries .

We pray for cooperation and tolerance amongst the clergy and the members . That your holy spirit continously guide each and everyone of your servants amen .

I am 100% certain now, that Christianity is true.
And most people living in the Middle East are 100% certain that Islam is true. And millions of people living in India are 100% certain Hinduism is true. Your feeling of certainty based on weak reasoning is no more powerful or indicative of truth than a 5 year old's belief in father christmas. It doesn't mean anything, especially when it is not a result of careful thinking and unbiased examination of evidence, but merely circular arguments and self-serving biases.

Every statistic shows that atheists are in the far minority in almost every country .
I personally think that the opposite is the case.

Millions of christians all over the world will head to church today to recharge their faith, their commitment to their beliefs.
In both the older and new generation churches, the faithful would find other reasons to attend one or several church services during the weekdays.

So it's quite obvious that faith is not just holding a set of beliefs, but is actually a commitment to holding such beliefs.
As such, protecting the belief itself, from oneself, becomes the primary duty and preoccupation of the faithful.


Given the fact that christians come on this forum, and in fact every public forum, to promote and sell the veracity of their beliefs, I cannot but wonder why things that they accept with absolute certainty needs to be repeated, regurgitated and recharged every so often.

Who are the faithful afraid of?
Atheists?
Satan?
Or themselves?

Can atheists ever rob you of your absolute truth?
Can Satan ever rob you of your absolute truths?

I mean, you believe with certainty that god exists. So does the Sun, so does gravity, so does ultra violet radiation. So what is the big deal ?

Do I need to recharge my belief in gravity every single day? If I did that, wouldn't that be a sign that perhaps I am bit doubtful?

I find it hilarious that the same people who actively promote the belief that god and Jesus exist also promote the regular and necessary recharge of such beliefs.

For example, what would happen to a christian if he or she ceases to go to church or fellowship for recharge?
Would the faith battery die off?
If the faith dies or diminishes, then what happens to the absolute truths held ?
Do they remain truths or do they reconfigure and die off ?
