Sometimes, greenhulk take sides without understanding what people meant.

The talk isn't about job created by Tecno or Infinix. Also, it is not about their customer service being present in the country. Outside carlcare, how many Xperia, HTC or LG customer care delivers?

We are talking about what the device is worth. Not the economic importance to the country.

Beside it is putting out money from people's wallet to theirs.

My occupation is phone service. I see heap of neatly used Tecno, Infinix and itel just dead for no reason. And this is becoming too rampant.

Eg, Tecno W3 rules in terms of Sudden Instant Dead syndrome.

Somehow you are right. Mediatek isn't as poor as you think though.. What would you talk about chipset like Spectrum, Rockerchip or CoolSand, Allwinners and Marvell? These guys do incredibly wacky devices. Even Xiaomi, Nokia, Samsung, HTC, Motorola, LG, Xperia all use Mediatek for their mid range devices even till date.

The problem is not mediatek. It is TECNO and Co + their blind users.

Though Qualcomm is the king and present incredible performance outstanding all for now. There are also very expensive chip much higher than Qualcomm too (Nvidia) but how the market embraced them matters too.

I can remember Tecno N3, P3, T1, T2, T3. These devices never dies like we see it now. These devices are based on Snapdragon (Qualcomm).

So sorry Bro. We got childish folks everywhere especially in forums.

Question: How much is your budget?
Are you good in using phone carefully or it always fall from you?
If you are given good choice, are you willing to wait?
If you cannot wait, are you willing to pay higher to get a good phone?

These are the factors that one need to know in you before making device recommendation for you.

The phones produced every since 2016 are guilty of this. Since exchange rate changed, they started giving Nigerian market substandard products. Both spare parts does the same.

I use to think it is because of this chipset MT6580. But I can also tell that Gionee still use this chipset. I hardly see people cry death on Gionee device using this particular chipset.

It should be because of the kind of sub standard materials used to produce the phone.

You have yourself an original Tecno phone. There is no phone that can give you exact memory which is stated.

Buy a brand that has a market in Nigeria like the CM. Don't buy something that when develops fault you'll find it hard to repair.

Xiaomi has parts.

Tecno and Infinix have one common problem called SID (Sudden Instant Death) ever since 2016..

This is either from EMMC or processor. And this is totally mediatek. This is why I will recommend Xiaomi for Ops

It is same with Tecno or Infinix. Mediatek is mediatek. It uses MT6755. Infinix or Tecno got device with such chipset. I will advice anyone to rather get Xiaomi Redmi 4A brand new on jumia for 32k instead.

Don't try choosing Leagoo. The phone is not strong. Three different model of Leagoo devices have arrived to my office with one issue.... Screen not touching. It is extremely fragile. Without fall, screen stop displaying or touch. That's the common issue with this device. The only choice the customers had is to wait for 3 weeks for me to order another screen for them.

P51 is mediatek Mt6580. This particular chipset is used by some of the following devices

Three things are involved.

1. The iPhone may be cloned (fake android phone that wears iOS skin and body built) worth N7000.

2. The phone may have password or iCloud lock on it. Worth N7000 if it has iCloud.

Count mediatek processor out (Reason: If fades away in 6 months later). Think snapdragon but don't come close to HTC, LG, Samsung.

HTC = Failed hardware
LG= Unfortunately camera has stopped ( LG G4 made me say so)
Samsung = Battery
Xperia = I don't know but when it services, the glasses at its back will be broken.

Think OppO, Hauwai, Xiaomi and Leeco ( except you are very good in falling your phone)
