Can’t complain about the lineup as that’s what we used to win last match but I’d still like to see us in a 3-5-2 for MF solidity instead of 3-4-3.

Drop Chuks for another strong MF (Onyeka or Onyedika). Push Dele higher up the pitch to support Lookman and Boniface.

Aina and Bruno will give us the width.
Nice point!

Congratulations to Charlesemeka85 and TheGoodJoe.

Thank you Humility33 and Maidaboi for being available and stepping up to do the count and co-organize with Lelion.

And Lelion... thank you for donating a good chunk of your money and resources to a fine cause. I hope it indeed inspires us all to always drop ideas and opinions devoid of tribalism and nepotism.

And lastly My Thanks to those who voted me 3rd. To be honest, I didn't think I will get a look in that much but was surprised. Thank you for thinking me Good enough.

Lelion, I just mailed you via NL mail. Thanks again. And may the Super Eagles give us much cause to smile again this Fine afternoon.
You're one of the most patriotic citizens here, take your flowers. Congratulations

Did he show signs of lack of match fitness in our last game? I agree Osimhen misses chances but Boniface hardly gets into the game not to talk of missing chances. I criticise Osimhen majorly due to inability to time his runs and missed chances but I will take that ahead of a Boniface that you will hardly identify on the pitch.
don't you think if we rely too much on osihmen to win our games, that makes it harder for us if he's not available or coming to the party in any game he features in?

And Point of correction, Boniface was highly visible in our last game, he was just firing blanks. Just chill abeg, osihmen will play this game.

There is no tactics here, Eguavoen just wants to prove one yeye point that he is in charge. Osimhen's absence really affected our 2026 WCQ games. Victor Boniface has been given enough time but is still yet to impress. Osimhen's ability to press and disorganize defences is so priceless. His physical presence alone is a problem to the defence. I hope we will not be chasing the game before Eguavoen will be thinking of bringing in Osimhen.
easy man, if osihmen starts firing blanks, we will still complain, let's not forget he also wasted two chances in the last game. For now, until he's back to full fitness, he should come in as a substitute after reading the game. It's also an advantage when the opposition is tiring out and he comes in to push them to the edge.

Can't you deflect the question or simply say, no comment?

Now he's giving juice to journalists who are only concerned about pushing narratives that will generate traffic for their content..

Finidi should be smarter
Focus on your job
Rebuild your pedigree and leave all this Osimhen matter alone

Agreement is agreement. If I decide to make you the most expensive player in my club history and we have a gentleman agreement that anyone that pays your release clause can have you, I am sticking to that agreement. Do you think that, money grows on trees? Or when you were receiving my high salary, you nor remember?
that's not a gentleman's agreement, that's over-estimation foolishness cos if they are not cowards they should have continued to keep the guy on the bench and pay the damn high wages at least to discipline the player since they have so called standards but alas, they saw through their folly and jump on the next available flight, see if you want to talk about osihmen's behaviour continue but to say Napoli has standards is pure witchcraft.

In life, when you don’t raise your child properly the authorities and God will do it for you. Since Nigeria decided that, there’s no standard, ethics and laws, Napoli showed they have standards. Additionally, whenever bunch of Nigerian social networks nonentities are supporting your behavior, just be aware that, they’re orchestrating your downfall. To be crowned African footballer of the year, pursued by clubs like Chelsea, psg, Arsenal and concluding at a backwater turkey league is enough warning sign and I will conclude by saying, pride goes before downfall let the bobo go and apologize except he was sure that finidi made those statements
standards in not letting a player go for over 100m, e no go better for that standard, phew.

It doesn't even make sense to drop Nwabali
On what grounds?
When we secure qualification, then sure, we can tinker
But somehow I feel AE might want to start Okoye
He should not try it o
It’s his business, he should just get results or leave the team

DABIGATRAN:
Regarding the goalkeeper position, I believe Nwabali has earned his place and should continue. Few coaches would really want to make changes in that position if the current custodian is equal to the task.

If we manage to secure friendly matches, that will be a good opportunity to try out new goalkeepers but not in competitive matches.

Some pundits have called for Okoye to be named first choice just because he has a regular shirt at Udinese. That's horribly infantile and typically African. The black man sees playing for UDINESE superior to playing in Africa even if the foreign-based player is dumb.

I have followed Okoye since his days in the German youth teams and eventually Sparta Rotterdam. He is decent but Nwabali is far more talented.
don't mind them o, they are trying to type and print out Eguavoen's sack letter.

Competition for every position should be encouraged it enables the best to be selected.

Okoye should play and so should Nwabili and let the best play , number one is not a permanent fixture.
Nwabali is the best for now except another agenda dey wey we no know

Guys, there's a question we need to ask. How come Eguavoen deployed the same 3-5-3 Peseiro used at the AFCON, yet his team had better flow and more goals per match than Peseiro?

This is not in praise of Eguavoen oo. I'm only just wondering maybe the instructions coaches tell players affects how they interpret their roles in a particular formation.
Perfection, the boys were already used to it and just added more expression according to the instructions of the coach who must have studied how the system was deployed at Afcon. My observation though and it justified all I have been saying since that we ought not to have thrown everything we did at Afcon away.
