Lookman is the only CAF rep on the Balon d'or list.

Watch as CAF will soon play funny and pick one of those Moroccans or Senegalese. He's undisputed to me.

As for female category... The Oshoala era has come to an end and there's not even an exceptional cadet squad player that's showing any sort of promise to reach these heights.
If CAF no crown am na their wahala be that, we go crown am ourselves, their father!

I like that he made three subs at once. It was like adding atarodo to soup. He cook well. E dey sweet my belly
Na real atarodo, that’s why I tried cooling some guys down here when they were complaining when I saw bashiru and Osi warming up. Omo AE finish work with those substitutions.

Yea, but Benin is a small team shikena. Good game by our boys but tamper the hype
There’s no hype bruv, if the team play well we praise them if they don’t we bash them but not all of us are cynics

For scoring against backwater Benin? Everyone knows that he is a king of small teams but let’s play Ghana in a WCQ or Afcon final Na O ti lo. Good game by osimehn sha
The Benin beat our silly ass months back with a former ballon dor nominee as coach. Guy just rest and sip some tea

Be like na im Twitter antics vex na im dey do charlesemeka85 but we should give him time. He was in good position but fluffed his lines. We need to encourage him. We need all our men sharp.
Boni na asset, he’s no fluke o. If Boni was in Afcon we would have seen more goals from the eagles. He was a major actor in the scoreline for today though many may disagree

According to the match stats, we completed 435 passes today.. I don't think we have reached that number in recent games.. at the AFCON in particular, I doubt we completed up to 300 passes in a game..

that being said, I don't think this 2 man midfield will benefit us in the long run, especially with Iwobi starting.... Iwobi is a fantastic player most of the time for the SE, but he isn't a workaholic, and partnering him with Ndidi or any other DM will lead to both gassing out quicker... Eguavon needs to reconsider..
I wasn’t surprised with those stats when you factor in what we played in the first half the eagles have not been that sharp in a long while with fast recovery runs and progression it was so lovely to the eyes, hope our tiki taka fans here were impressed.

For the midfield am not sure any eagles coach will want to sacrifice any of our upfront players to add to the midfield. Our strength is still upfront but perhaps as the game wind down then I think your suggestion should be considered

Dele bashiru took the midfield from benin , he turned the game around for Nigeria
When I saw him warming up I knew the match was done. Kudos to Eguavoen, he really saved enough fire on the bench. I give him his flowers for today

I was saying to charlesemeka85 that while it appears on paper that we have attackers, I necessarily don't think so because most of them apart from Osimhen and Lookman most of them are not reliable.

I just hope that Boniface settles in and gives us that much needed bite
Boniface will come good, he’s an important player in this set up. Pray Lookman doesn’t get injured what are your other options.

OsIMhEN iS OVEraTED. WhY dOES hE EVen stART sEf?

Thank God for Lookman finally some consistently reliable to take the goal scoring burden of Victor.
We have a loaded attack to be too reliant on Oshimen. I loved that osihmen started from the bench in this game.

And point of correction osihmen is not overrated if he didn’t score the game would have ended 1-0

Do you know Guardiola?

If you see Guardiola, you see me.

Eguavoen doing what Finidi could not do. BEATING ROHR LIKE PIKIN.
His starting 11 was on point, reserved some fire 🔥 on the bench. The boniface people were complaining about was part of the script, wear the defence out and bring in more firepower later. Very apt
