Though i have read the bible verses before...1 Tim 2 v 11-15. These verses was again brought to my attention again by a woman preacher, though the preacher read 1 Tim 2 v 1-8, but i cant help but noticed the rest of the chapter, So from the these verses written by Paul the Apostle. Is it right for a woman to mount the pulpit to teach/preach. Or we can ignore these verses

Houstency: My greetings 2 d professors of the house, @YModulus and others and to the fellow importers...Pls, i have a nice suggestions for all.
I was finking there is need for us to form an association of Nairaland importers( I am not advocating for a National kind of association), This are some of my reasons, why i fink an association would help us all..
1. To check d excesses of dis numerous freight forwarders we use in China to get our goods to Naija.. One of such company(names with held) changes there exchange rate any how. last two weeks it was @170 naira per dollar, as at today it was @174 naira per dollar, maybe next week it may rise to @178 naira per dollar.. you may not feel much of the impact of these exploitative exchange rate when the total cost of your goods are below $10, but when you buy more, you are definitely going to feel it.
2. The freight forwarding companies not keeping up to the number of days they promised to deliver our goods from China to Naija.. Fellow importers, i fink we all know d importance of getting our goods in good time.
Alone we can't stand this people, but when we come together as one to take stands on those companies they would seat up and give us better services than they are currently giving us now. And there are many more reasons why we need one voice.. This is open to all members of the house, pls let's deliberate on this, to make importing more profitable and better for all of us.. I have already worked out some modalities on how we should operate, but need to hear from d house, every suggestion would be opened to the house.

i think the best we can do is to create a thread where people can place their complains abt these agent. Once a particular shipping agent name is mentioned too much in that thread then we all know what that means. We should make sure the thread is purely for complains. JJC in this importation business are getting scared by the these agents consistent inconsistency. One of the guru in the house has to take the initiative of creating the thread. from ur writing u claimed APC is not as popular as it claimed. i'm wondering what ur definiton is and i totally disagree with u on that esp. If u are talking from south west's perspective. Another point u write that got me thinking is about omisore's tainted image, i think that shows the value of PDP as a political party because if people with tainted names and images kept emerging as its flagbearer, then there is something wrong with the party. I am not any political party fanatics, i vote based on the candidate's track record because the ideology of the main political parties in nigeria is wrong.

cant agree less...after all said and done...there is always one important factor...some call it grace, favor. God's factor, luck, chance based on wat u beleive in

this is a total misconcetion. You are makin it look like those with bad grades have more tendency of been successful in life. Nothing is fixed...we have seen brilliant students become a success and flops in 'real life', also we have seen average students turning the tides. I think the deciding factors are COURAGE and DETERMINATION/PERSISTENCE. Knowledge is not power but APPLIED KNOWLEGE. Some brilliant students though have reservoir of knowledge and 'brain' do not have that courage to take action in 'real life' situation. Some even take action but give up once the tide of life is against them. These group of brainy end up not fulfillin their potential. On the other side, some average student also accept 'defeat', thinking they are meant be average, hence they fulfil the 'prophesies'. And finally we have the average students who will neva accept they are average, though their grades make not be 'smoking' so not high but they always believe and see themselves as smart in other areas. You see these average student in schools doing school politics, sports, entertainment, business and other activities. They are taking ACTIONS with the 'little' knowlege they have. They are not afraid to fail and even they are not discouraged to try again. They have these burning desires to be successful. Nothing is certain, ANYBODY CAN MAKE IT, it all depends more on our attitude and less on our grades
