As an Atheist. I FEAR DEATH. More like I don't WANT to die. Why?
It's not because I fear hell.. I'm glad to say I've finally gotten rid of that belief.

But Rather Because I belief, Life ends at death.. There's no Afterlife, no rebirth, nothing.

This is the only life I get to live, my only chance to live, so I wish to enjoy it as much as I can while I have it.


Right now, I don't believe I have enjoyed life so much.. So Death is not an option for me now.. so I don't want to die. Hence I fear death.

For those(atheists) suffering everyday doing hard labor or earning below living wages or sickle cell patients etc., what stops you from quitting(commit suicide)?



I'd say that, for those suffering, it's only the hope that things can get better they hold on too.


+ Suicide is not an option that affects only one individual. It has Serious side effects on the family as well.

The main purpose of falling in love is companionship, comfort in knowing someone is looking out for you, trust in that person.

The purpose of marriage to me, should now be procreation. You love this person so much, you trust the person enough to start a family with them, and you want to start a family. There are people who don't want children. Not that they hate kids , but in their plan for their lives ( travel the world , work in space e.t.c ) , they see children as more of a limitation to their goals. So they decided not to have them.
