Compliments of the season my people.
So this is my story.....
Applied in April Refused in June
Re-applied in June Refused in November
I was so heartbroken and devastated..... But I just held on to God's promise.
I didn't want to try again.
But the Spirit of God gave me the courage to try again.
So I applied again in November.
God finally came through for me and I got my approval this December.
Lesson : If God has said it, that settles it because He will surely do it. Don't give up. It's not over till you win!
By the way I'm a matured student o, in my forties. I left university over 20 years ago. If God can do it for me, He will also do yours!
To God be the glory! All I can say is THANK YOU JESUS CHRIST MY LORD! |

I also thought of it too o. Maybe the system crashed and they are not letting us know. It's better they refund our money so that we can move forward or re-apply. makano: Am suspecting this too, its obvious their database for June- August applications have crashed ,mayb that was their reason for the frequent maintenance around that period. cos its not sensible holding up to applicants of June - August and replying to those that applied September and October. There is something fishy they are not disclosing... If their database have crahsed, they should just give everybody that applied from May -Ausgut approval since the fault is from them.. Am seriously suspecting those people.. |

Good morning elders and colleagues in the house.
Please what advice would you give someone in Canada on visiting visa but has already applied for study permit from Nigeria since June online.
The permit is still not out but the person is still in Canada, though vacation is over. Should the person return to Nigeria or stay in Canada to wait for final decision. Please advise. Thank you all. |

Big congrats. I rejoice with you. ApostleNduBiz: Hello My People,I received my approved TRV/stamped passport today at VFS office,Lekki,Lagos.
I've been a quiet follower of this thread.I stumbled on it after submitting my study permit application.I must confess some assertions made on this forum made me want to lose confidence in my application and made me leave my fate in the hands of Jehovah as my only Advocate. For instance,a member of this forum stated education loan cannot fly and while another member affirmed that Fixed Deposit Certificates as proof of funds is a no-no.
My Timeline Paper application at VFS Lekki Lagos.... 18th April,2018 Linked my application online....5th May,2018 Medical Call....8th May,2018 Medical Done.... 9th May 2018 Medical updated as passed on my online account...18th May,2018 Contacted by my school (UBC) to give consent to confirm my acceptance and release my personal details(student number, date of birth, program, program start and end dates, etc) to CIC....8th June 2018....I consented immediately. My online account started reading Account/Profile Updated..... 21st June 2018 Within minutes,my online account started reading 'New Message' (no longer Account/Profile Updated).... 21st June,2018 Yet and even uptil now my online account was and is still reading 'Your application is in progress','we are reviewing whether you meet eligibility requirements....We are processing your background check' (even after collecting my stamped passport...this shows the website is having issues).Even the 'new message' does not open for me to see the details. Contacted by VFS to pick up my processed passport at Lekki.....25th June,2018 Visited VFS to pick up my approved TRV/Stamped passport.... 26th June,2018.
To all TRV hopefulls,it will end in praise.Keep on keeping on!!!Now i can sleep very well and plan ahead...What a big relief!!!

Igeope3914: thank you for the advice I am good on internet and I will do more research please for the express entry like how many month can it take me to get my visa if I put all my effort ? For the express entry, you have to first write the IELTS English test, then send your certificate for evaluation (WES). The WES takes time cos your school has to send your transcripts to WES, and no one has control on the timing here. After getting IELTS and WES, then you can now go ahead and create express entry profile on cic website. Every claim you make must have supporting document. The process can be cumbersome but it's doable. If you persevere you will achieve at the end. Good luck and God's grace. |
