She can't even spell the polytechnic she went to.
Is she in anyway related to Oga Dino? grin

I doubt if bro Dino can differentiate Bentley by name from his other cars if not by color and sound....

TV/Movies / Re: What Is The Main Purpose And Aim Of Bigbrother Nigeria ? by GoldEnyong(m): 12:41pm On Mar 21, 2017
ITbomb:
In the meantime, let me give you an insight.
The reason showbiz strive is that people tend to show interest in stuff that are out of their normal daily activities.
If you listen to Asa songs, you will feel the stir in your soul as you flow with the lyrics however the truth is that you are in the minority as the other majority needs something more physical, they don't care about the meaning, they want the beats.

So what happens in showbiz, you give the people what they want.

You may not care about Tonto new red dress or Adaeze cleavage but they are people are clicking on any topic that show related headlines (check traffic report of most bloggers).
So if people are so interested in celebrity's lifestyle. Why not promote some people as celebrities, lock them in a house and put cameras to screen out what they do.

Those guys who organize the show are not charity organization, they are businessmen who are expecting profit.
If people don't like what they do, they will be out of business.

On how it affects the common man or the economy.
1. Viewing is through cable, many people specifically subscribed during the period for the show. The guy at the DStv shop near you gets some commission, if you are installing newly then bigger pay for him.

2. Voting are done through text, the recharge card boy issue selling more credits

3. You don't wanna miss a show cos of NEPA? then buy fuel. The fuel attendant is getting paid.

4. Bloggers just need to post "see what TTT did at night" and thousands will click to see. More clicks, more money from Google and other advertising networks

5. Perspective : There are thousands of ajebutters locked up in their high fence compound and the only thing they know are housemaids and driver. This shows may be their only opportunity to see real living from another perspective.

It showbiz bro, if people are willing to pay to watch, then give them what they want after all you are not 700 Club that gives boring testimonies but they are still on air only because they live on donations for the good work

No answer is better than this. Only the organizers will you something different and that will be lies

I really feel your pains brother. You have missed so much fun and women are becoming much more beautiful and attractive like my wife. You need to join us soon to celebrate them... Your problem has no affinity with spiritual forces since your problem is not peculiar to Africa. It's medical brother. There's a little disconnect . Masturbation- I equally tested it at age 17. By then I was even a strong youth of Apostolic Faith. That's far from being a problem. But you need to walk away from it.
Doctors these days won't take long to solve your problem. Follow their instructions and don't resort to self-help. Do it now so that they can rescue you before the little erection go off completely.

Aba takes 1st and 2nd, and currently pushing for 3rd position as the most dirtiest place on earth.
Even if the governor gives them 8lanes, they will narrow it to half within the first month of commissioning.

Education / Re: Which African Country Speaks The Best English? by GoldEnyong(m): 10:58am On Feb 25, 2017
Akpevwe9:
While I was browsing the net this evening with my itel S31, came across this and decided to share.
Who speaks the best English in Africa? And the answer is Uganda. According to the world linguistic Agency, Uganda takes the cake for being the best English speaking African Nation.
First off, the idea behind the best English speaking African nation ranking is in no way to slight any nation. Africa is a country of an entirely different culture from the west. So, it is understandable that some African countries are still not fluent in them. As a matter of fact not all the nations of the world fancy the English language.
English language is the global/international language at the moment.
Like we say, anything worth doing is worth doing well. There are 28 English speaking African nations. From these 28, the World Linguistic Agency made a list of those who speak the best of English language in Africa.
Best English Speaking Countries In Africa:

1. Uganda

2. South Africa

3. Nigeria

4. Kenya

5. Zambia

6. Botswana

7. Zimbabwe

8. Malawi

9. Ghana

10. Rwanda

11. Sudan

It is also worthy to mention that as some countries were not colonized by the British, their Lingua franca differs. It will be asking too much to expect fluency from them.

where's Ghana with their WEAK English..

Sometime I just feel like we guys are being insulted by some of this write up....How do u feel u can secure an adult that got mind of their own.. we are not kids that could not differentiate between right or wrong...Any man that wants to be promiscuous did that with a sound mind...he has the right to say no to the so called strange woman assuming he wanted to...escort him to the gate?...As in kindergarten school levels..

Some times we hear things like she SNATCHED him away from her....Haba!!! just call men inanimate object now...that would have been cool...only some animal or inanimate objects can be snatched....Not someone that got a mind of his own..

Any man that wants to leave you....If you like cook chicken marsala daily for him, clean..wash till your hands got pilled.....Call him honey, sweetie, sugar etc...If he want's to go, no matter how secured u feel you have done on him, he will and some will roll with some one you are better than in all ramification ...I feel so sad seeing ladies fighting over a man...if he puts you in a difficult position, why not confront him instead of the other woman..........You ladies should stop treating guys as if we are fifth graders...we are Adults

Politics / Re: INEC Director To Face Prosecution For N16 Million Scam (photos) by GoldEnyong(m): 9:02pm On Feb 21, 2017
stephanie11:
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has concluded arrangements to prosecute a Deputy Director of the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC in Akwa Ibom State, and former Electoral Officer in Rivers State, Gogo Anderson Waribo, for his alleged collection of N16million from the infamous N23billion Diezani Allison Madueke’s during the 2015 general election bribery funds.

Waribo was arrested by operatives of the anti-graft agency following intelligence report that some INEC officers conspired with some staff of Fidelity Bank to defraud the Federal Government of several millions of naira. Although, he has consistently denied involvement in the fraud, investigation revealed that the INEC Deputy Director’s name is on the list of beneficiaries of the money. He is alleged to have received the sum of N16 million through his First Bank account on March 27, 2015. Waribo allegedly gave N5 million from the N16 million to Peter Popnen, an ex- INEC official.

The suspect will be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is completed.

Phones / Re: 6 Ways Social Networks Are Ruining Your Life - Naijatechguy by GoldEnyong(m): 9:05pm On Dec 27, 2016
NaijaTechGuy:
Social Media is now an irreplaceable part of each and every one of us. Social networks these days boast of huge numbers of users. Facebook itself has about 1.5 Billion users. These networks have helped us in many ways but today I'll be looking at the ways it's ruining our lives.

It Keeps Connecting You With A Past That's Best Forgotten.

Most recently, Facebook had a glitch that had old photos of users being reshared. It's possible that there are some of your photos you wouldn't want anyone to see but due to the glitch it became public. This is quite embarrassing. There are some memories you wouldn't want to remember but on social media there's a high probability that you'll come across the post one day and it'll get you annoyed or depressed.

Some people can't even spell anymore
Due to the many short ways of typing words on on social media. Some students can't even spell correctly. I've once read an essay that's filled with Internet slangs and it's embarrassing because it was written by a high school student. That's very bad.

We keep comparing ourselves to other people

"Obi just bought a new car", "Sandra just got an iPhone" and I'm still here . All these stuffs tend to make us desperate just because our friends have gotten something we don't have yet. Sometimes it makes us jealous and get envious. We start living fake lives just to keep up so they'll see you as a big boy or big girl indirectly ruining Our self worth and self esteem

You lose connection with the people around you
This is the annoying part of the whole thing. These days most of us can spend a lot of time online loosing the feeling of a decent personal conversation. We hide behind the screens of our smartphones forming as experts and providing answers to some unknown people's problems meanwhile you haven't addressed the problems in your immediate environment.
Have you ever imagined if that person you crossed on the road when your eyes were glued to your phone would have made a positive impact in your life?. Don't let social media draw much of your attention.
.
It Makes You Paranoid And Needy.

This one mostly affects the Ladies. A typical scenario of this is when a girl posts a picture and gets up to 1000+ likes, there are other girls on her list who'll get to see the picture. Some of them tend to become paranoid and needy. On the contrary, the person that's making them become needy and paranoid may not be better than them in real life.

You Waste So Much Time Online

We're all familiar with the scenario when you just want to quickly check something on your Facebook account but you see something else that keeps you glued to your screen for a very long time. The hours you spent or wasted on social media could have been used for more productive things.

Social media is fun but we should also be aware of the ways it ruins our lives.

Absolutely..
