Your last quote to me on the "Iheanacho played no 9 in a 4-2-3-1" matter which exposed your lies and cowardice to admit truth is exactly similar to this one. wink Did I indulge your debasing call? Did I respond? Nope. So that should tell you what I will do just now.... cheesy

I will just leave you to your folly so you keep licking your wounds coz the exposition you gave yourself is enough. I have made my points and it is seen by all. So keep doing your best to buy my attention... you won't have it. Looollll
I said Kelechi played no in a 4-2-3-1 formation? This is what you termed "debasing call" ? What nonsense are you talking about? Is your name Kelechi Iheanacho?
Talking about attention, you mentioned me more than 15 times in the last 24hrs. Who is buying whose attention, between me and you?

No I didn't get served... You only exposed your true intents knowing fully well what he said... He insulted my mom... And you never said he was right about me... Again you do what you do best- twisting the truth by inches to cover your dirty tracks and real intents.

You said what Rico guy said and did to make me leave the thread for a while was right. What did he do exactly which no one spoke about then except Safari girl? He insulted my mom....

So you see that you shot yourself.... You showed that you loved when my mom was insulted... Nothing can hide that side of you. It is you who got served. smiley
You're trying to make sense out of your asinine remarks and personal attacks. Maybe you don't know I can also make sense out of what pieroboss said about your mother.
Give me a nudge if you want us to have this no hold bar conversation, if you have the stomach.

Loooolll.... Bla bla bla.... Icon79 said your have a problem with your personality as regards never wanting to feel wrong. He hinted also that you just don't know how to give in to your over-inflatwd ego. And yes, he also called you narcissistic. wink

He never insulted your mom or your dad or anyone close to you. He only spoke to you.

But you.... Hahahahahahahahaha.... You knew exactly what PietroRico did and said about my mother and you typed with your fingers that he is right to do and say what he did.

How really noble of you Goldfish... I guess the darkness in you was exposed afterall. smiley I knew you would come out to defend yourself... But what was said cannot be changed... It cannot be forgotten. So your serving in your coin talk is super lame and your only cop out to cover the tracks of your dark thoughts.
You said someone was right about me, I said someone was equally right about you.
You thought I would let it slide when you hide behind someone else's comment to insult me? How wrong of you.
You got served.

You really are wasting your time with me. Talk to those who deserve your lectures not me. What I see here is just you being diplomatic as always with the truth. Coating it back and forth. So cheers to you too on your path. I have been on this path in various threads before you showed up and I am still on that path.... so don't expect me to hit positive notes your way.
I am a very straightforward person with the truth.... hit on our young players and label them as trash... and I assure you that with time they will all suffer the same fate Goldfish80 suffered. They will only end up eating up themselves and exposing their true dark color... just like Goldfish80 did....smiley

He used his own hands and typed...

"What that guy did to make you leave the thread initially was right. He was right to say all he said."

In other words, Goldfish80 said that PietroRico was right to insult my mom.... now if that is the kind of person you want me to go soft on... I am afraid you are very mistaken. Vipers must be exposed as such... Liars must be called what they are. smiley He lied blatantly about Nacho's position in a game because he didn't wanna lose an argument... such a shame. That is the kind of men that hide behind masks of gentility only to be exposed when I stretch them to their limits. I am good at that... so let Goldfish be an example to them because Malicious negativity against our young stars won't be tolerate by guys like me. Ciao... wink

Where we stand in this is only a reflection of the kinds of people we all are in real life... and I sure damn know that the way a mam handled truth is what defines him most.

This Hammer of truth is here to stay... and no one hits harder than Truth.
But initially in the heat of the moment, you said icon79 was right about me. I wouldn't know what he said but I imagine it wasn't something nice.
You got paid in your own coin and you absolutely loose your rag.
Better don't dish it out if you cant take it.

Sir TheGoodJoe, My honorable Sir, the past is past but elements of it still shapes the future and the present....

I had to mention it because it seems Mujtahida forgets that the hammer of truth is more powerful than the silly hammers of Anti-truth on the matter of our young players. How many times have I been hit back at on this thread yet I still stand tall... wink

He said they will hit back as if he doesn't know they have been doing it for how long now yet it has no single effect... it has all failed. All hits were as lame as the hammers they wielded. Truth is always stronger.

The only time things went out of line was when someone cowardly called out my Mom... Something even Egbon Forgiveness will never do no matter how deeply engrossed in arguments with you he is. And I recall telling some who came to meet me on my other little thread that I know certain monikers smiled when that happened...

Lo and behold, a moment just had to come... a moment to vindicate my statement made out of certain observation... and Goldfish80 exposed himself as one of those monikers... he cannot hide it anymore. That is just who he is.

It takes a mind that is deeply psychological to knock off the walls of pretense some monikers wear here... That is what happened to Goldfish.

So in the end... I am just a deeply passionate and nerdy guy who loves Nigerian football and does so without any ulterior motives or hate towards/bias against any one player in the green and white. I love and have followed Nigerian football from different angles and I have studied the generations of the team......

When I walked into NL Sports in 2015 after SL10.ng closed down, I didnt know my moniker was already noticed there and followed here by a few... I came in here with a song on the possible rise of another grand golden generation and in every such generation there are major players and Star acts key to the exploits and growth of that generation... and this is what I am out to protect in letters and words... we cannot be having people come here and get battered by the strong wind of half-truths and heavy pessimism and then expect not to have a war to ensure that truth gets out there and is not swallowed by the negative atmosphere.

We have what I call subtle enemies of Nigerian football here who we must contend with to ensure that our message on Nigerian football is not choked up or killed away.

When a lie is repeated times without number, it will become truth to many soon. Hitler did this and it worked.

When nonsense is being uttered and no one can challenge that because they want to have peace... I wonder what kind of peace they are after while the truth suffers to have a voice bearer.

I am here to propagate the Good news of Nigerian football and to show that indeed a new golden generation is rising and we must keep fanning that flame with positive views and not predominant negative views taking the so called disguise called "Constructive criticism".

This is what the clashes on this thread is mainly about... nothing more. Every other thing said is just a cover -up.

So the past will stay buried but its lessons still have impact for today. It is well.
What is this one talking?

Pathetic? The quality of teams or conditions of the league?
The conditions are rather bad. How do you expect a club to cris-cross across the country and play every 3 days without a relative drop in general output and quality.
These midweek games are also responsible for the poor performance of Nigerian clubs on the continent.

Joel obi aka plastic leg is injured again..
I will advice Joel Obi like I will advice my own brother. I think it was time he quit the game, he should stop punishing himself and his body.
I have a feeling he has very bad bio mechanics. Something must be patently wrong with him to suffer injuries as much as he has.
I had a friend back in school who was a very good athlete but has unfortunate bio mechanics, something about the way he walks, his body stature and movement made him prone to injures.

It is sad to see great players hang their boots very early due to injuries. I rate Marco Van Basten the greatest striker of all time but it was sad to see such a pure talent quit the game at just 27 due to niggling injuries.

Joel Obi must talk to his family and come to the best decision in his own interest. There's life after football.
His body needs a rest. If he doesn't obey his body, he will definitely not enjoy old age.

Manchester City starlet Tosin Adarabioyo at centre of tug-of-war between England and Nigeria

Manchester City starlet Tosin Adarabioyo is at the centre of an international tug-of-war between England and Nigeria.
The highly-rated central defender has been tipped for senior international honours and represented England juniors all the way up to Under-19 level.
However, the 20-year-old is being targeted by Nigeria, his country of heritage.

Adarabioyo was made available for loan by City during the final 48 hours of the transfer window following the signing of Aymeric Laporte.
But a deal failed to materialise with the youngster named on the bench by Pep Guardiola for City’s win over West Brom on Wednesday night.
The Super Eagles had planned to watch Adarabioyo play sustained senior football before deciding whether to tempt him with a place in their World Cup squad.

Nevertheless, Nigeria’s concrete interest in Adarabioyo remains, leaving the Football Association in a fight to keep hold of the defender, who has made seven first-team appearances for City.

Nigeria have successfully persuaded Victor Moses and Alex Iwobi, who have both played for England at junior level, to change their international allegiance in recent years.
Players are only fully committed to a nation once they’ve played a competitive fixture.

A very warm congratulations to Nigeria, victory is sweet. The success of this Chan team underlines the fact that Nigeria is indeed the powerhouse of African football. Even in the face of poor infrastructure at home, lack of organization and shoddy preparation, yet we could raise a team D which will play for the African crown, beating the full national teams of Libya, Sudan, Angola, Guinea and Rwanda on the way .
For a league that loose her better players every other month, this is a feat worthy of celebration.
If only we can get things right at home, Nigeria could be in the class of Brazil and France. Why not?

You can type "Nelly Uchendu" and it will bring out all her songs and maybe this one too.
I finally found it o grin

Tension was in the air whenever this song was played on radio. Sometimes, when the Eagles were down at half time, radio Nigeria will leave the song on repeat.
But if eventually the Eagles lost, you no hear the song again. grin

Their achievement have nothing to do with my comment but i remember Wilson Oruma as a good professional experience in French league, same thing James Obiorah with Anderlecht and later locomotives moscow and Emma Ebiede in Dutch league,Duke Udi too in Switzerland, and Doodo Avaa in Turkish league.

We cannot have these types of players in this era and be searching for Mikel's deputy, that's my point.

Wilson Oruma was able to deputise for Okocha during Atlanta 96 and France 98 and James Obiorah at 2002 WC.I remember Duke Udi and Emma Ebiede step in for Okocha during Atlanta qualifying series and they did not disappoint.
Whatever happened to James Obiora. I recall how he twisted Roberto Carlos's blood in a Champions league game back in 02.
He came into the game with his side down 3:1, he scored to bring the score to 3:2, hit the bar thereafter. Was on his way to tie the game after dusting Roberto Carlos the second time, when the refree abruptly blew the final whistle, while he was about to pull the trigger.
At that point, I realised ojoro dey European football.

BCC Lions of Gboko, my first local team.. I remember listening to their African cup winners' cup final on radio in 1990..
There was this song by Nelly Uchendu played on radio usually before any crucial match in the 80's.
The song goes something like...
Every match
Every match
Eagles the great, Eagles of Nigeria.
If they play football in Ghana, Eagles must win.......nothing like the eagles in Africa.

I cant recall the name of the song. I have always wanted to download it but I'm hitting dead ends.

This is not the the first time I am having a debate with someone here. Have you seen me go personal or attack anyone's personality even in the face of provocation? I have always laughed and kept my cool.
The personal attacks yesterday was something that would have looked foolish if I walked away from.
Even while I was discussing football, that boy and his girlfriend took it personal. Can you imagine that brat asking my place on the food chain in comparison with my mates. A girl I can cloth and shelter asking a question she dare not ask if she met me face to face.
She made that statement and not even a a single soul called her to order.

Second striker

Deep-lying forwards have a long history in the game, but the terminology to describe their playing activity has varied over the years.
Originally such players were termed inside forwards, creative or deep-lying centre-forwards.

More recently, two more variations of this old type of player have developed: the second, or shadow, or support, or auxiliary striker and, in what is in fact a distinct position unto its own, the number 10, exemplified by Diego Maradona , who is often described as an attacking midfielder or the playmaker .

The second striker position is a loosely defined and most often misapplied description of a player positioned somewhere between the out-and-out striker, whether he is a "target-man" or more of a "poacher", and the Number 10 or attacking midfielder, while possibly showing some of the characteristics of both. In fact, a coined term, the "nine-and-a-half", has been an attempt to become a standard in defining the position.

Conceivably, a Number 10 can alternate as a second-striker provided that he or she is also a prolific goalscorer; otherwise, a mobile forward with good technical ability ( dribbling skills and ball control) and link-up play, who can both score and create opportunities for a less versatile centre-forward, is more suited.

Second or support strikers do not tend to get as involved in the orchestration of attacks as the Number 10, nor do they bring as many other players into play, since they do not share the burden of responsibility, functioning predominantly as
assist providers.

In Italy, this role is known as a "rifinitore" or "seconda punta", whereas in Brazil, it is known as "segundo atacante" or "ponta-de-lança".

Chief Icon4s smiley How were we going round in circles? Can't you see that one was doing his very best to keep the lies coming against that young mam called Nacho. Every time Nacho scores and does well, Goldfish cringes and gnashes.... cheesy #Fact

Or how else do you explain an attempt to debate what formation Leicester played yesterday confirmed by all who watched and by all known reputable sites like Squawka, WhoScored, Goal.com and more?

Firstly , Leicester played a 4-2-3-1 and Nacho's goals prove it over and over again based on the positioning of the players for the most parts..... These deliberately blind bats led by Goldfish80 just wanna argue nonsense for argument sake. They got nothing sound at all. It is just a deliberate attempt to twist the truth.

Also, Goldfish80 proved himself a Neanderthalic coward by not owing up to what an SS means....

He also could not show me where I agreed with him by saying Nacho is NOT a striker....

Abeg, Is a support Striker not a striker? or abi support striker can CM shey? He is very laughable. Looooollllll lolll

Saying someome has a Best position, abeg does is not mean he has alternative positions too?

Please who did Positive, Comparative and Superlative in School back then? Seems Old man Goldfish80 needs a recall? It is really shameful to see a grown mam like him dodge the truth and defecate on himself when presented obvious facts..... He doesn't even understand grammes anymore. He proved himself dumb. And ofcos, Mickael2 and Komekn will agree with him.... very super predictable... they all belong to Tue house of Foolery and negativity directed towards a special Player like Nacho. These are the guys who will cringe and gnash their teeth when Nacho shines in the GWG.... it is f**king obvious.

Loooollll...if it was a question that won't show how silly your argument look, you would have quickly answered naa... abi old man? cheesy

But as the coward that you are, you dodge it..... because answering it only reveals more of your ill-planned thoughts... You play chess I suppose. I know you have a knowledge of the game... You know that question is a checkmate question and refuse to answer... But now everyone who reads our convo will see how really cowardly you are in the face of a simple question... Hahahahahahahahaha....

And if my reply to you was in black and white, what stopped oyu from showing the screenshot? You had to wait for me to show you your folly and then still stubbornly and blindly insist on not understanding what I said...

Sebi SS is all you care for....

Then surely you can tell us what SS means.... since Nacho is not a "striker"... cheesy

Man, You've lost... lick your wounds in peace okay. Your Skepticism is indeed permanent.... as permanent as Nacho's class. grin
Very petulant and childish rant. I wonder how you fooled everyone into believing you were smart. Breeze don blow today.

You want to squeeze in that there's a striker in "SS". Therefore, you have been right all along. Hahahha

I havent heard anything more childish this year. This is height it.. hahahahahahaha
Se how you dug yourself into a big hole in a bid to nail "Kelechi's hater".
Even a pre puberty teen will slap himself for saying this nonsense in public.

Ahhhh... but you read it... didn't you? Lying again? wink Don't worry, I know it is genetic. Yoy cannot help it. Recombinant DNA tech can help out though. That's by the way... cheesy

So ehmmm yes... this SS was indeed mentioned... that is Nacho's BEST position as he also excels or does decently in a few other roles too including Lone striker/Top 9...

Now what is an SS? simple question... what does it mean?
I read what? That gibberish? Is this what your psychic clairvoyance self told you this time?

It is official. You are just a lying coward. You cannot even bring yourself to say what an SS means... Hahahahahahahahaha..... what a man... naaah... you just did distinctive injustice to the word "Man"... loooll
Who are you to ask me a question and demand I must answer? Seriously, you over rate yourself.

TheSuperNerd:
You just dragging this with your tirelessly meaningless blabbings... what is an SS dear old man... ashamed to answer the damn question and get slapped back into reality? Loooollll
Bomboy answer your question yourself. I wasnt the person who said Kelechi was a SS.

All this talk... all meaningless to me...

All I want to hear now is what SS stands for.... I really don't like repeating myself on things other minds will easily understand except yours because you are hell bent on winning on argument... cheesy grin Oya come and win naa... answer the damn question and stop playing the coward.

I gave a detailed reply on Nacho's BEST position and never discredited him as a striker... you think I was gonna drink your coffee? looolll

Just tell us what SS stands for... Simple stuvrs rily... wink
Those yiddy yadda gibberish about hybrid whatever is inconsequential to me. Who had time to read those crap?
The anchor point of your post was that he was a SS.
Finish.

And Goldfish80 takes off.... smh....

How could a simple question such as "What does an SS stand for"? make you go dumb all of a sudden? cheesy

Isn't it cowardice to be scared to look into the mirror to see one's own reflection... look into the mirror Sir Goldfish80... what is an SS? Loooollll....

smh... this is really pathetic I tell you... cheesy
The coward is the person who cannot stick by his word. A person who cannot stand firm by his words is a big disgrace to cowards.

Looolll... bla bla bla... No be you ask for BEST? Was it me who asked? Wasn't the question about BEST again... you don't even understand what you asked... lol

What is the meaning of SS? Your deliberate evasion of this question shows how scared you are... keep running okay.
The stress on the word "One" probably evaded you. I knew how slippery you have been on this matter that's why I shoe horned you with the word "one". You obliged and said SS.
Case closed.
I don't understand why you're this disturbed and working so hard, tirelessly to disprove yourself.
