Oga, who you wan deceive? This was a comment you made during the AFCON. Cameroon had not even reached the final yet. Show us the ones you made in the weeks leading to the Nigeria vs Cameroon clash.
There is no point trying to defend yourself. Our memories have not failed us.

The way you pull out some skewed statistics each time you want to bring down a Nigerian player is so disturbing. A Nigerian player does well, you do not show up but when he gets even an average rating you come here to make noise.

As I said, no need defending yourself. We know you already.

You mean comment like this one? Show me where I said Cameroun will beat Nigeria or forever hold your peace.

About Cameroun, it is no false accusation, dont know about Iceland though. Infact it was ur statement about Cameroun against Nigeria that made me start hitting on u subtly then. U were hyping Cameroun to high heavens and belittling Nigeria just because u were lucky to predict their afcon Victory. Remember Ondoa ur hero? he is still a bench warmer even in Belgium grin

Here was my comment and this was your reply. Please can you objectively show me where I said Cameroun will beat Nigeria.
If you can't I expect an unreserved apology but if you can show me where I said otherwise, I'm dangling a 100k prize. Here and now... This offer is open to anyone.

You think football is 1+1=2. Oya teach me the fundamentals naa.

And of course they will definitely make adjustments. But you sleeping on the fact that they lost to Korea and so would lose to another Asian giant even after restructuring is a no-no. Cos that was the case for Nigeria vs Cameroon. We lost to South Africa and despite the return of key players and inclusion of some other players you still slept on the SA defeat to refuse to give the team a chance against Cameroon.
Who didn't give Nigeria a chance against Cameroun? Was I not the one who got a lot of bashing when I constantly said Nigeria will beat Cameroun if we went with a physical striker not the Kelechi type?
These arguments lasted months non stop here between myself and TheGoodJoe.
This shows you have a sinister motive because you're not a new member of this thread.

''You are good as your last game''. Germany lost to South Korea in their last game so that means South Korea is better than Germany and you should also expect Japan or Saudi Arabia to beat Germany because they lost to Korea right?
You had to go dig up the most knee jerking of examples just to score a point.
Let me tell you something, if Germany do not go back to the drawing board and make adjustments, they will still loose to South Korea if the game was played next week.
That is football for you. Do I really have to start explaining fundamental things like this to someone like you?

The problem is you so magnify the negative side of the team and diminish the positive side. Before that South Africa lose did we not beat Algeria? Why didn't you draw inspiration form the Algeria win but you would rather paint the ugly picture based on the negative result against South Africa.

I know that to you Nigeria has the worst team under FIFA. I wouldn't be surprised if you come up to say that Tahiti is better than us.

You're as good as your last game, as a trained coach you should know this.
I wonder why you will want me to judge a team with the game they played almost 9 months prior to the Cameroun match and disregard the most recent result of the team. It's not as if the Algerian match in question was perfect on its own.

You think you wish the team well, but clearly you don't. Since you're keen to always turn a blind eye to the teams weakness.
If you were in charge of the Super Eagles, good heavens....

To drive change, we need someone with a cabinet who can put policies in place to drive change. We can not wait and expect things to get well. We need to start from somewhere and with time, with better policies, we can get good governance at different level. But there must be a start.

The Harvard and other ministers in the pawere setup by a leader put there to impoverish the people. So getting results from them was a far cry. The cabinet then was not set up to transform the country.
You can see the problem I'm talking about almost immediately.
Himself and his cabinet will be sending those policies to the parliament for approval. Does his party have the majority in the parliament to push through his agenda?
The problem of Nigeria is too hydra headed for one man to effect any meaningful change.

We only lost to SA before Ighalo. So saying Ighalo was the magic wand is a long call.
The manner we lost to South Africa gave a big indication that we couldn't have trumped Cameroun who were crowned African champions at the time,if changes weren't made.
Those hard earned 4 points was vital to our qualification bearing in mind the ducked points suffered as a result of Shehu's gaffee.
This is very easy to understand.

Fela Durutoye just want to spark the brains of the people who can help transform this country. He knows winning the election is a big task, let alone transforming this country overnight. This is just the beginning of others marching out.

One thing I believe is that if Durotoye becomes president, his cabinet will be made of innovative, compassionate and service driven leaders to transform the nation.

Evil succeed when Good sits back. This is the beginning of the good fighting.

I also believe in the Union of Fela Durutoye and Sowore. However, Fela Durutoye has his political ideologies which I do not think he will compromise to win an election.

The federal system of government as it is being practiced in Nigeria is very far from the masses. We have had Havard trained professors as ministers, yet Nigeria didn't change, so Fela wouldn't be reinventing the wheels with appointments.
My point is those in charge at the grassroots, local government, constituencies and state will be pretty much the same people even if Fela won.
If anyone wants to implement change in Nigeria, it must be done holistically from bottom up.

Rohr lost his confidence in his offensive play after the SA game. His midfielders found it difficult connecting with Nacho despite Nacho making good runs. Thus, Rohr switched tactics to a more long ball style and thus getting Ighalo who suited the long strategy.

However, this led to the slump in our play and results. I will always up for offensive, pressing play and Nacho trumps Ighalo in making it work.

If Ighalo wasn't recalled, I don't think we would have qualified for the world cup. I know it is a strong statement but I have my reasons.
Except as usual we want to be economic with the truth, but Ighalo was instrumental in the 4 points we got from Cameroun. Those 4 points proved to be crucial after the ducked points due to the Shehu Abdullahi debacle later on.
Kelechi simply wasn't finding his feet. Many ex internationals, including the likes of Okocha called for a review of our strikers after the SA game. It wasn't just me.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ml-v-kwFYrM

I missed one of these Fela Durotoye's Town hall meetings by the whiskers. Quite unfortunate.

I wanted to ask him if one man can change Nigeria. I want to find out from him if he was elected president, how he will perform and deliver when he will be working with the same governors, senators, council heads and local government chairmen because his party basically doesn't not have the structure to win majority of the states and local government elections in Nigeria.

In my opinion, Sowore, Moghalu and Fela should unite and form a coalition. This coalition should go down to the grassroot and engage people just like Nnamdi Kalu did. They can work out a strategic 8years plan, within the said period, leaders will emerge organically from every state and local government in the country.
The polity will be on fire so muc so that these criminals parading as leaders will go into exile for good in just 8years.
It will take a lot of guts anyway from these actors. Anything less, will be like pissing in the wind.

That is clearly you being evasive of the truth. Coaches have tactical plans and different methods work. Rohr intended to apply pressure on the Algerian defence to prevent them from building from the back. He also needed mobility in front to prevent them from having a direct plan to stop the movement of our attacking play.

Nacho played a big part in the team pulling off the tactics and delivered the pressing and movement well. Rohr could have chosen another option and could still win. That does not change the fact that Nacho played a big part in our win.

So without being evasive and bias, did Nacho play a vital part to our win?

If kelechi implemented the press and caused Algeria all sorts of problem, why did Rohr relegate him to the bench and recalled Ighalo who was almost a forgotten man in China after we went belly up against SA. Another game you claim Kelechi aced but fingered the midfielders for not connecting his runs?
Can't you see the paradox here?

Bringing ratings is a clear point that you misunderstood the argument. The ratings came before the release of the Algerian coach statement. I disagreed with it, citing that they neglected the impact of Nacho's running and pressing which played a big part to our win. Owngoal released the article and the journalist after I made the statement.

So it is funny you jumped back to bringing the ratings I disagreed with. My question still remains, did Nacho's run help causing the Algerians problems?
I have answered this question. I said we would still have beat Algeria 3:1if you lead the Super Eagles attack on the day.
But take away Victor Moses, we wouldn't have gotten a result in that game.

Firstly, I never said it was a fine assist.

Arsenal’s other forwards did not have nice first half stats either.

The change was purely tactical. The ratings are out.

Exactly, based on the ratings, Iwobi was clearly rated the worst player for Arsenal.
This is by no way an attack on Iwobi but truth must be told at all times, irrespective of who is involved, be it your favorite player or least favourite player.

you are not correcting any information.

Earlier today, when TheGoodJoe said Kelechi played well against Algeria, you discredited him with some screenshot from Complete Sports even if he was making a point from his perspective of the match

I have equally posted screenshots from the Fantasy Premier League site to discredit your own point. That site is more valid than you are, so, your perspective is null and void tongue

Well in that case, TheGoodJoe brought up the idea that Kelechi played well in the game citing what the Algerian coach was reported to have said, it is fair I posted the player's ratings in that match, as reported.
Now I see what this was all about. This argument had nothing to do with Iwobi just like I suspected.
