IslamTeen Muslim: by gombos(op): 4:02am On Apr 18, 2010
I have never been close to somali people now I have been hanging out with this girl for a while now, She's such a drama queen she wears head scarf and she doesn't even know the importance of being islam. She's dating non muslim which I have done before but she claims to be a good muslim, She drinks which I know is haram, even worse she's under the age. I would rather see her not acting like islam than her giving islam a bad name. How can I tell her to leave her head scarf home or act like a good muslim.
RomanceRe: Since 3yrs I've Known Her, She Hasn't Stepped My Home Not Even Once! by gombos: 2:14am On Apr 18, 2010
^Just because you don't have anxieties about getting to know potential in laws doesn't mean she feels the same. Has it not occured to you she is worried about how your family will view her and whether they will accept her? I think fear infact is the main issue

Get some rag, and some chloroform. While she's passed out, carry her to your house. Don't be under the false illusion this is kidnap; you are merely helping her to face her fears

Meeting family works both ways; if you take the time to get to know hers she should take the time to get to know yours
RomanceWho Want To Be Virgins Again? by gombos(op): 2:04am On Apr 17, 2010
I had to write this thread , after reading another thread, which was about , that women could behave as men and could get their virginity back through the modern help that is available to women who want to be virgins again , In my perception, this should be an advice for wild women who need to cover up their past, but what the poster of the thread didnt think through about the fact that women cant cheat men with experience in this area, and there is a difference between God `s created virgintity and human-made virginity , Easy to know the difference, even for the , , who havent seen ,

This shall help for women who need to hide their past, but this creates more problems for women than benefit, because there will be more hookers and hustler niccas in the Nigeria community, which is harmful and we dont want this to happen , Because this , who is being abused by different men could be your sister, cousin, aunt and worst of all , one's own mother, but we Nigeria men can prevent this problem to be bigger than its today , How can we do? We can do this by respecting women generally, and stop competing on who open most virgins.

however , this may be difficult for most men, and even more difficult for women, but we men are known to be double-morals, because none of want this to happen to one's sister, cousin, but we have no problems with abusing others` sisters, cousins etc.

The importance of virginity? I consider this to be important but less important compared to the overall assessment of a woman, but we're all different, consider different things as being important in women and men, but the best advice I would give the brothers are , Find rather a converted sister than acceptin a Nigeria woman with past as a former , , The reason why I am sayin this is because they say that children cant choose their mother and father, couldnt avoid here bein bit doubel-standard,

RomanceFor Loose & Good Girls by gombos(op): 8:47pm On Apr 16, 2010
Ladies Nairaland, became lately a bashing field whereby us girls are mostly the target. Since a whole thread is dedicated to potential ", " I took it upon myself to recognise those girls and highlight their will power to change the lives they are leading, despite being classed as , I mean the old phrase 'if a guy fuks around he's a king and if a girl does the same she's a hoe" doesn't really apply to our cultural values let alone religion. This is double standard and doesn't add up. .It saddens me to see that Nigeria guys think they have a free pass to do whatever pleases them pre marriage (sometimes even post marriage) because they are, well let's just say a Alpha male. This isn't right and this isn't the way to go about things.

To all the good girls raise your standards. You get what you bargain for, so if you are happy with a guy's hoish past, then by all means don't complain if he doesn't treat you right, marry a 2nd, 3rd,4th wife without meeting the requirements as such , goes clubbing while you are in labour etc. Ladies am pleading you, if you .want a secure future and a successful marriage iif God say make sure you do a backround check before get hitched. Don't let his past just because he's a guy.

To the ladies who changed their lives for the better and wanna marry a decent brother - Play your cards right. If you can't produce a white sheet yourself, make sure you cover your past footprints. You know why am saying that? Well, if God the almighty can forgive us a mountain full of sins, what makes a useless boy think he can't accept a girl's past haram activities? Who are they to judge girls based on a tick box approach which they set the benchmark? Words fail me!

To sum up, if you think the time is right to get married, fix up yourself. Polish some imperfection and make sure that your past doesn't hunt you down. Sometimes you need to put on a fake act to land that top guy - Just like a job interview lol

Good luck! .

RomanceRe: Luv Without Conditions, Capital Lies! by gombos: 4:14pm On Apr 16, 2010
That is false and unrealistic. Anyone who marries for material reasons is wrong, but most people marry for love and that includes their partners strengths and weaknesses. True love is the fact that you marry in spite of the the flaws in your partner, not the size of the bank balance

^true story

There was this girl I was mad about when I was in the 6th grade but she kept rejecting me. 1) she was extremely hot and 2) I couldnt offer what those older niggas with rides and shid could. So a whole year or so I was after her; but eventually moved on and ish. Now in a different city we are both in the same school and in the same class; so I sit by her sometimes and we chat ish. Funny thing is: she has no clue who I am cus I look nothing I like did when I was a kid; even childhood friends wont recognize me today but I wanna keep it like that lol. Maybe I will tell her about me during the end of the querter

I had a crush on girl at my high school, I was dying to ask her out on a date, but every time I used to see her,the biggest erection ever. angry

There was nothing I could do to control it. It just happens, after some time, I decided to get her phone number and call her up. This way I won't have to see her and won't get too excited. I end up asking her out and she says yes, so I figured the best option would be to tie mr blooody happy to my leg, when I see her it'll be tied to my leg and she'll never notice

Not an amazing first crush experience
