They verify with your school then your school sends the email to you that it was just being verified by ircc. Maybe not all schools sends email to let you know

I do not think you need to apply for the GCMS note because the recent denial/refusal letter comes with the notes or comment of the Visa Officer. Please check the refusal letter carefully.

There is no condition that he must pay the entire tuition fee before the visa is approved. Unless there is a condition by the school to pay a non refundable fee, which must be met before submitting your application. You must be able to demonstrate that you have the balance tuition, living expenses and others in your bank balance.

Let’s set sentiment aside and follow the regulations. If I were the visa officer, I would refuse your application because you have significant ties to Canada. You own a business there, you have a wife and a daughter you haven’t seen in two years, and your wife has already been living in Canada for over five years. Under these circumstances, applying for a visitor visa raises serious concerns about your intention to leave Canada at the end of your stay with a previous refusal , as required under Section 179(b) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR), which states that a temporary resident visa may only be issued if the officer is satisfied the applicant will leave Canada at the end of the authorized stay.
My advice is to first request reconsideration, then apply for permanent residence through family sponsorship. If your marriage is genuine and legitimate, this will significantly improve your chances of approval. Under Section 22(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA), Canada recognizes dual intent meaning you may apply for permanent residence while also applying for temporary entry, as long as you can demonstrate that you will comply with the conditions of your temporary stay and ircc stated with ur aor for pr included in ur visit application it will be processed faster.

I applied for Canada Visit Visa on 9th September
and Got refused 29th September.
It hurts me so bad that I feel Ircc do not consider Family and lacks empathy and compassion.
My wife is very sick and scheduled for a Major life and death surgery
One of the Biggest Govt. hospital sent me invitation Letter , including doctors telling them I'm needed to be present due to the complexity of the Surgery.
Yet I was refused Visa and reason which I attached. Financial reasons.
I earn over 18 million Naira monthly in Salary and commission
I attached my pay stubs and also letter from the Company which I'm the Executive director.
I support my Wife and child, I send over 5 million naira to them for Rent and upkeep
I have a 2 years old child who is a Canadian citizen.
My first refusal was I did not attach a marriage Certificate..
Reapplying, I attached it with various evidence of marriage.
Now, there excuse is I do not have access to my own funds I was shocked
I didn't just have money stuck up, I perform and run the account so well.
I attached bank statement of my wife with over $55,000 and my own Balance which is super over my wife Balance. But instead they said over $100k is insufficient for a 3 weeks visit?
I'm worried my wife has no one to stay with her during this surgery, in fact the Canadian Govt. has spent over $1million on her health.
I am forced to believe these guys do not really pay attention to Visit Visa Application.
These guys has no human feeling even for genuine family, I have not seen my daughter ever she was born, her mom which is my wife is going in for one of the most complex surgery you can ever think of..

Please I need an advice on what next to do. Her surgery date is in less than a month and I need to be there ..
Do I reapply?
If I do what other document should I add, I added almost every financial document you can think of in the earlier application.

Thanks a lot for the message, and it is really appreciated. Someone advised me to send reconsideration letters for both. which I did yesterday. If I had gotten this message earlier, I would have sent for Grandma alone. I got a reply for both this morning that the 2 applications have been sent to an officer to review, and the officer will determine whether to reopen them or not and reconsider them. Question, please. Is it possible to add a fresh document that was not included in the application to the reconsideration? If yes, I can focus on Grandma to include the properties in her and a full list of the daughters, sons, grandchildren, locations, and their connection to her.

It is possible that your payment for the visa fee was declined or suspicious. The best thing to do at the moment is to apply for the GCMS note so that you can address it properly in your next application.

If you have a family application for visitor visa. Can you send all the passports and documents for the visa stamping to the Abuja VAC, in one envelope or you have to do it separately. I also have the same question for the package transmission fee of 9,930, is that for each idividual or one payment for everybody?

You can send all in one package, but you must pay the transmission fee for each passport. I hope this helps.

Yes. Make a simple letter giving the reason you renewed your passport and submit only the new passport with the letter of explanation. Also, send a copy of the letter and the new passport to IRCC via webform for their update. Good luck!

Egypt Air has no restrictions on travel dates, provided you have all the required documents regarding your studies. Your payment receipts is very important, including your LOA, LOI, LOE and POF. Again, you must show your ticket confirmation to your final destination if Toronto is not your last stop.

Submit only the new passport. Then write a simple letter explaining why the passport has changed. That is, give reason why you have to renew your passport. Attach the letter to the new passport during submission and also send a copy of the new passport and letter to IRCC via webform. Good luck!

I submitted VV application for my parents and sibling yesterday June 19th

I got biometrics request letter for my mum and sibling immediately but none for my dad.

My dad is the primary applicant and has an existing biometric that is still valid till 2026. While filing my dad's application I paid for a new biometric so that his visa will be valid till the expiry of his passport i.e 2033

My question is what do I do about my dad's biometric letter that is yet to be received? I tried uploading the receipts via his portal but it's greyed out. Is it too early to send a web form about this?

Also, I tried creating a tracker account so I could track the progress of their application but I keep getting an error even though all necessary informations were entered correctly. Do I need to wait for a few days to create a tracker? Thanks

You really need to be careful with your response to them, and I hope he was not given a Ban by the UK embassy.

Meanwhile, you could say it was an oversight not to have mentioned it. You actually thought the question was for Canada's refusal alone. And apologise to them for that. But if your husband was given a ban and you didn't explain the reason for it (because they must have seen it), and tell them if the issue was resolved or not, then it's another chapter of Ban by IRCC. The UK, United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand share a common database; hence you must not tell a verifiable lie or misrepresentation. The listed countries are called "The Five Eyes".

I have recently renewed my passport to 10 years validity since 2 months ago, and just last week, I sent them a webform with a scanned copy of my new passport stating the old one expires in Sept so I got a new one. Maybe any need to send another webform to reiterate that?

I believe I should be excepting a PPR soon? (really don't know what PPR means but I see from the thread that it refers to the temporary residence visa?)

Also, once I receive the request to submit my passport, should I submit both old and new passports and maybe with a letter? would be good to know if this is what people in similar situation do. Thanks again!

PPR means Passport Request. Meanwhile, you don't need to submit the old passport alongside the new one. Just submit only the new one with a Letter of Explanation. I will advise you also send the Letter of Explanation via webform too.

You can use same portal to apply for your Study Permit. You do not need to create a different account with another email.

You can quote same UCI when required. It's unique!

You may need to send them a reminder for your PPR via webform. Maybe them forget ooo.

Nothing serious at all , no home ties I think . He has China visas and other countries also . So while applying for Canada he just decided there was not need adding the U.S refusal . That was the mostake

He should respond to the Procedural Fairness Letter (PFL) by stating the reason for the US visa refusal and the year it happened. And why he didn't mention it in his application. His reason for not saying it has to be a convincing one. An oversight could be a reason for this. Finally, he should be apologetic in his letter to VO. Good luck to him.

No, IRCC does not issue visas beyond the biometrics expiry date. Your passport and biometric expiry date determine your visa expiry date.

The same applies even after decision. IRCC does not issue visas beyond the passport expiration date. They always issue visas according to passport expiration date except in a few cases, which is rare.

From my findings, most last updates were done 19th of April, and it appears most of the applicant's statuses are similar. Let's be optimistic!

They work with her current passport which is still valid till 2024.

Actually there's nothing you can do to extend her visa.

This is not true, please. I have witnessed where IRCC extended visa expiry after passport renewal.

They will issue her the 10 years if you renew your passport before submission.
