Congratulations. I assume you are already in the UK and porting to Canada yeah? If yes, what bank statement did you submit? Monzo? If you have any other tips for those transjapa-ing please share.

Your input is valid. True you can produce payslips. Because in uk, most banks do not give letter headed official letter. Monzo doesnt wise doesnt llyods doesnt. I dont know which bank does. So in that case one can use pay slips.

I was asking this in one telegram group and no straightforward answer from anyone who ported from UK to Canada. I use Monzo and Revolut so how do I obtain the bank requirement part? How many months worth of payslip to show? Or just print bank statements?

Please who knows anyone who has gone through UK to Canada in recent times?

please we need advice on the next thing to do concerning an issue about a Canadian visa. A nigerian travel agent assisted us to apply for a visa and told my brother that it was an internship. to cut the long story short we never heard anything from the canadian visa center after biometrics for over 1yr. so we asked the agent to cancel the application. right now hes not talking to us. we re trying to apply for a canadian tourist visa and the agent is not saying anything to us because we need the previous details he used for the other application. what do we do now? how do we get the information's he used previously? please advice pls on how to retrieve my brothers information so we can go ahead to apply again.

This can't be worse than what happened to a friend. Agent applied for agri-category and because of the long silence after medicals and submitting the necessary doc. He abandoned their file. After 5 months when my friend asked to check for information she had previously filled as she wanted to start afresh on another category, they found out they had passport request 5 months earlier. Heartbreaking. They tried their luck and submitted passports but it came back empty. Very few of these agents actually know what they are doing and have your best interest.

Please ask questions. Don't be shy (nobody knows you for here). Who dey ask questions no dey miss road.

Do you think its possible that ircc calls one’s employer to verify one’s position, though i highly doubt they have time to do this. Or do you think they dont really care the koko is the job description and one is good to go. Because ur case is a fresh hope for many.

if 44101 is not on the qualified list for the category then you cant use it. If the job role/description is the same why not use the 33102. I work for an agency that sends us to different places. Care homes, nursing homes, residential, and supported living so I'll use the 33102. My question is 6 months full time is it counted in hours per week in a month. Because with agencies it's not every time you get shifts but you are under their full-time employment. Do we get to show 6 months worth of pay slip week by week in total of what they consider full-time hours?

Thank you. Noc code was 33102. Your course of study has no bearing on your noc, especially with 33102. So just evaluate and use your highest degree.

You can combine work experiences but let the healthcare be your primary NOC and it shouldn't be less than six months experience in the last 3 years.

Thanks for the Info. Did you submit reference letter and 6 months payslip? What of care agencies that pay weekly and some week you may not get shifts is this considered as continuous 6 months full-time work?

AOR: March 13
BIL/MIL: April 17
Gave Biometrics: April 19
Medical passed: April 24
No update until today
FD and Passport request: June 6.

We tried in the year 2019/2020 sitting in the pool with 466 crs. Couldn't get ITA and COVID also damaged things. By the time IRCC started draws after COVID, we had lost significant points due to age. IELTS also expired. We sha packed our bags and enter UK early 2021.

Then IRCC introduced category based draws. Second chance at Canada leyi ooo. So we started again. Had to write ielts 3 times unfortunately. Each time, I am 0.5 short in either listening or writing. I wrote the final one on February 10 2024. Got my CBT results on February 13 with LRWS 9,8,7,7.5. I updated my profile immediately and my score jumped to 440 from 384. The next day, February 14, IRCC did healthcare draw and boom our ITA.

Congratulations to you. Do they also ask for updated for all the dependent bank account or only the M A?

They asked that MA should show her own remaining Pof (tuition balance and living cost) but I had completed my tuition balance and added receipt for accommodation 3 months rent paid upfront so that I think satisfied their request.

It varies. I know someone who wasn't asked and his family got theirs

Yes ,you are on the right path in addressing this,

Write a detailed cover letter to regarding this request and inparticular the difference in the amount, you could do a table of inflow and outflow

1. Reference the relevant documents reflecting fees rents and other bills paid in the UK so far, they have to balance the figures out

2. Ensure the documents you provide are verifiable

When applying for spouse and dependent the gov.uk website says ***If your partner or child is applying at a different time to you (they’re applying separately) they only need to prove they have money to support themselves.***

The funds for them is still in my account and is more than enough but we just got nsf asking for the amount in the screenshot below.

How do I tackle this?

Do I add my fees paid so far, rent paid?

My dependants did biometrics and forgot to use courier services. I contacted TLS via mail and was told to use the post biometric courier option. Was asked to credit their account and provide some information with evidence of payment. I did so but till now there's no feedback or acknowledgement. I need advice on what to do if anyone has had similar experience. I have sent several reminders. Two of the dependants out of four have received collection mail this evening without moving to courier

Which email did you to contact TLS. I don't want courier services again. I want to come pick up for my dependents myself. Is this possible? My own courier took 6days and I'll be out of town soon.

Any idea when both TLS and UKVI offices will close for the holidays and when they'll resume? Or do they have just days like 24, 25, 26, 31 Dec and 1st Jan off?

Vignette is for entry. Your correct duration of stay will be stated on your BRP.

The BRP mail carries the correct date. So no worries on the vignette?

Good morning everyone. Should the valid until date on the vignette sticker not be your course end date? Mine says something like
Entry: 8 Dec 2022 and valid until 8 Feb 2023

Is this correct for a one year course that ends in 2024?

The application was moved to VAC on Friday, collection mail dropped and I just collected my passport now. That was after making paid calls and especially a paid mail I sent, I got response from Sheffieldstudentteamammendment Some days after they have ordered my passport returned to me as soon as possible. Within 48hours, moved to VaC and collection mail.

As for my friend, her husband will now be traveling with the kids.

N.B: if your application is yet to move to VAC and it has exceeded the timeframe for your visas processing. When doing paid calls and paid mails, to be sure your request is been ordered or successful, you will receive a mail from shefieldstudentammendent within 5days max. If not receive keep disturbing them because have seen lots of people whose CAS was withdrawn because of not getting visa and missing enrollment deadline.

Learnt a lot from following this thread and here to share my experience to also help and encourage others. Got 5 schools in September but wanted my spouse to school to enable me work, even though she had previously done MBA in Uk but was online, now wanted to do master in social work. Coventry made a case of progression and successfully defended it with UKVI and gave her admission but later started internal delays, we gave up waiting and requested for refund because we already paid 8k pounds as deposit......and were refunded after 7weeks. I then applied and was waiting for my spouse to try again for January 2023, when it was obvious it wasnt gonna be successful, i decided to meet the condition of my offer and pay deposit!!!

Application date: 15th September.
Conditional offer: 20th September.
Conditions for offer met and deposit payment: 24th October.
Unconditional offer received and place confirmed: 25th October.
CAS received: 26th October.
Visa Application: 26th October ( applied same night i got the CAS, no waiting)
Biometric: 31st October ( luckily saw a regular slot on 31st and not even VIP)
Visa out: 4th November ( 4 days after biometrics!!! Yes you read that right, i met conditions for offer and was holding my visa just 1 week later, Miraculous!!!)

Note: Family of 4, POF was not even in my account as the applying student, was in my spouse's account because we used hers for previous application and there was no time to start transferring to my account and waiting for another 1 month.

Documents submitted

Passport for everyone
Marriage certificate
Consent letter from my spouse authorizing me to use the fund in her account for payments since we were all applying together.
Proof of source of income ( attached 3 months payslip)
Transcript
BSC and NECO certificates
Authorization letter as parents of the kids.
TB certificates ( was about 1 week to expiration date)

You can, but you shouldn't. Apply alone or all together. Spouse can apply with the children later.

Wait o. My school resumes 8 January and spouse's passport won't be out till January.

So applying without dependent partner is grounds for refusal?

Please kindly explain why it's not a good idea. I'm already hyperventilating here as we've submitted our application without him. Although parental consent was included for all dependents.

Spouse's passport is not ready hence the delay for family application. And when passport is out he can still apply as a dependent partner?

On the form "will your spouse be traveling with with you?" in this case the answer is no...right?
