Priority remains priority (5days I think) except when your application is not straightforward.

On the applicant portal you'll see your tasks and next steps. Have you gotten your PRID number before you make your deposit? If not your deposit will hang. Go to your applicant portal and keep following the steps. Scroll all the way down.

They stated for January intake CAS process and issuance will be October. Exactly October 1st I got my questionaire.

Just one thought. If you refused to pay your daughter's school fees and she was attending school I'd say go and pay up or go to the school and pay half or what you can with explanation. I know you needed to pull all resources available but then again you played a fast one on them. You may want to leave this country with clean mind abi clear conscience.

NOTE:
I made a mistake in my POF calculation.POF was held in account only 9 days when we submitted the application and paid. I never knew the money has to stay full 28 days before submitting the online application. My POF matured on the date of my biometrics. I calculated from the date I deposited my POF to the date of the biometrics.
We have to eschew unnecessary fears cos must of the things that make people cancel their application doesn’t really matter to the UKVI.

To all of you still waiting for their decisions, it shall end in praise.

Perhaps your personal statement did not convince them enough that you’re a genuine study applicant. Re-apply to other schools and makes sure to draw emphasis on why you’re pursuing a masters after 15 years. The motivation, benefits and career plan after.

I did o. I'm a good writer... IELTS writing 8 (not blowing my own horn but I'm not new to personal statement/statement of Purpose) Over the years I've gotten scholarships to attend various short course from enterprise development center (Lagos Business School) I've done short courses based on the new path I want to follow hence the course and career change. My CV listed all of that.

Anyways I applied to other schools too. This is just Chester's reply and on their site they stated mature applicants are welcome. If not for Canadian visa refusal (based on my special needs child posing a burden to their health and social welfare...story for another day) I also got partial scholarship to university of British Columbia I had to forfeit.

Has anyone here over 15years study gap gotten admission for Master's? If yes which school?

For Study gap of 15years university of Chester withdraws your application Is that applicable to other schools? Has anyone experienced this? Yet their website says "mature students" are encouraged to apply

Nobody but God and all good people here assisting with great response. Journey started oct with Oxford Brooke’s, denied me CAS after deposit because of my previous refusal.

Applied to Uni of Northampton, paid deposit in March via Black market and got CAS late April.

Biometric : May 11
NSF : June 7 requesting my Birth certificate because I used my mom Bank statement. Then one Uncle here that think he works with UKVI said I will be refused if I provide birth certificate that wasn’t signed by Deputy registrar or if I try to apply for new Birth certificate because I couldn't find the old one. I just ignored and stayed positive because it’s not every advise here you have to listen to. Well God never fails, I went to local government that my birth was registered and they gave me a new one. I guess UKVI have their way of verifying authenticity of documents wether it’s signed by deputy general or not.

Sent paid email June 17th
Decision made response
Transferred to VAC June 21
Collection mail June 22

Congratulations! University of Northampton did you write IELTS? I want to apply for January if this Sept start date is not feasible given the timeline of the stages involved

Good day everyone. Please I'll like if anyone can quote how long their admission letter took whether conditional or unconditional.

How can admission take 2 months and counting while others take way less. I know that's why we are advice to apply to more than one but your choice school process can be problematic.

I don't know how September resumption is still feasible but we keep hoping.

I noticed that from Abuja to Heathrow is cheaper with more flights than from Abuja to Birmingham.

Please house, does school reputation determine if the embassy would grant you visa or not? I got an admission from Bedfordshire uni and I'm worried if the reputation of the school is high enough to be granted easy visa before paying a deposit of 4.5mil naira(65% of total fees).

Congratulations on your admission. How long did it take them to give you admission? I just applied to them a week ago.

I also know a friend's friend there and she was given visa. So I don't think it affects your visa chances. Just have your documents as required

Please if you know which universities reject or withdraw their offer because previous visa refusal biko mention them. Also mention the ones that don't mind irrespective of visa refusal.

Context: I was refused Canadian study permit last year because of my special needs child. Upon ordering my gcms note, everything was positive except for the officer's comment that they think my dependent's health will a burden to their health and social welfare.

Now if schools I apply to reject me should I offer this explanation? Has anyone applied with a special needs child?

Will this make a difference... I've been to the UK once (2011) and have a good travel history
