I paid using my mobile bank app like 4days ago and this evening I got a message telling me to make payment else, I won't be able to write my test. I have mailed them but saying they will get back to me after 3working days can be a problem since I was given 24 hours now to make payment.


Kindly help me on what to do please.

My story is going to be in 2 parts

Part 1(BRP):
So after my CoS was issued, my solicitor (hired directly by my employer) contacted me to provide my documents; tuberculosis, PCC, statement of account as maintenance wasn't ticked, NIN, passport page, IELTS but I told her I'll prefer ECCTIS. She however advised that ECCTIS would cost me more but strong head didn't allow me hear word because I didn't want to write IELTS yet again after wasting my first IELTS result of LRWS(8.5,8.5,7,8 ) running after Canadian immigration

So I forwarded my proficiency letter, my transcripts and my certificate to naric paid for 10 days evaluation at 140 pounds or thereabouts (don't know the exact amount as my big sis over there paid for me).

Strong head is a bad shaid. Now, on my university, my middle/other name was misspelled (added an 'h' as their ancestors whispered to them) but the h didn't affect the pronunciation of my name.

After submitting for naric, I started feeling uneasy that that misspelled name will kobalise me. Told my sis and she said we should wait to hear from them.

Long story short o, they replied on the 5th day that my name don't match and my transcripts wasn't legible enough. Na so I jumped up ooo; I dash dem the 140. Off to IELTS.

Booked IELTS the following the for a date about 3 or 4 days away. I whipped out my Barron's IELTS textbooks and refreshed for about a day cos I was so busy with work.

On the day of the exam, the speaking dragged nonsense with me but I dragged it too Listening too wanted to do somehow but I went with God sha. I wasn't really feeling myself as I felt I didn't do well when I got home due to inadequate prep.

To the Glory of God, I got LRWS 7,8.5,6.5,7. And with that IELTS was ready.

Unto the next hurdle, my funds has been in money market since June last year so for some reasons (asked questions, even asked my solicitor) I went ahead with the statement of account of my mutual funds with stanbic.

Long story short we put forward the applications on 24th March,
Biometrics: 04/04
I wasn't at ease all through because of the SOA
Additional documents mail 13/04 requesting for a SOA for my funds in a regular bank account (savings or current) for 28 days or a letter of maintenance from my employer that they could maintain me if need be for the first month Upto 1270£.

I had 10 working days to respond so the first option was out of it because withdrawing the money from mutual funds to my account would spoil my 28 days waka.

My sister later informed me that Naric refunded 130£ to her and held onto 10£ as admin charges. I was so happy. Money wey I think Don waka.

So I messaged my employer and the letter of maintenance was written and submitted by my solicitor on 17/04. Then another wait began...

At last BRP mail came 23/04
Collection mail 25/04
Passport picked up 27/04

U dont need an account showing ur employer's details....u just need an account to show the needed 1270£ required to survive for a month........ infact if ur employer agree to officially or unofficially foot ur 1270£ ....u wont even need to submit any bank statement.....

uk does not even care weda u were doing swiming engineering job before or pathological yoruba science...... their own is that u successfully convinced a recruiter u want to transition to the healthcare niche and the employer hired you with COS that permits u to stay in the country..... kapish!

My money has finished in this project. I would just risk it. By submitting my degree and IELTS UKVI (Which by the way is qualified to prove English Proficiency) I would give updates on the responses I get.

That should be the new site created for UK only. I will advise you avoid that site. Send a mail, direct it to the centre you plan to have it done. Attach the passport of all that is involved. In the mail, state your phone number, preferred TB date and country of destination. If it is Lagos, email it to iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int if Abuja or Benin, browse their email. Title it 'booking appointment'. Ticket number will first be created for you and you will get a response within 48 hours

The registration of a total of 512 nurses and midwives, around five per cent on the register of the Nursing and Midwifery Council in the United Kingdom who passed at a Computer-Based Test centre, could be fraudulent or incorrect.

This is according to a press statement posted on the website of the NMC.

The NMC said it was writing to them to set out what happened and to tell them it was opening cases to determine whether or not they gained fraudulent or incorrect entry to the register.

The NMC uses a Test of Competence to assess the skills and knowledge of people applying to join its register from overseas.

This has two main parts: a multiple-choice computer-based test known as the CBT, which applicants usually sit in their home country; and a practical test known as the OSCE, which people take in the UK.

The CBT is split into two parts: Part A covers numeracy, and Part B covers clinical questions for nursing or midwifery.

A company called Pearson VUE runs the CBT. They have been the NMC’s test provider since 2014, when the test was introduced.

Pearson VUE alerted the regulator to “anomalous data” at one of its third-party CBT centres in Ibadan, Nigeria.

The NMC Chief Executive and Registrar, Andrea Sutcliffe, said, “Data from one test site in Nigeria is unusual and concerning. We have regulatory processes which we will now follow, and if necessary, we can refuse registration or remove people from our register, to protect the public and people who use health and care services.

“We know the public and people who use services may find this worrying. This affects just over 500 out of the 771,445 professionals on our register. They will all have passed the practical test in this country before they were accepted onto the register and to date no concerns have been referred to us about their fitness to practise.

“We should remember that thousands of nurses and midwives who were educated overseas have safely joined our register recently and continue to provide safe, effective and kind care across the UK.”

The NMC said a total of 1,970 candidates took their CBT at this centre, of whom 512 are on the NMC register.

It said no fitness to practise concerns had been raised about anyone on the register in this group.

“But clearly, if someone has gained entry to the register incorrectly or fraudulently, then the NMC will need to take action.

“The NMC is approaching investigations about individuals objectively and transparently, avoiding any unfair discrimination. It has not yet made any determinations about individuals. Unless the NMC decides there is sufficient evidence to seek an interim suspension order, individuals will be able to continue to work,” it noted.

Feb 7th additional doc requested MA and one child
Feb 8 NSF mail to wife, no additional doc.
Submitted additional documents for MA and child 15th Feb
24th April MA got VISA.
After 2 paid mails after 2 weeks they replied with additional documents for wife March 28th.
Though she was ban 2008 for fake document, also her passport used then had fake DoB.
(As at 2008 she and her brother wanted to go for her sister graduation, the IV came in late so they went to design it online not knowing they would know it's fake. In the process their application got ban).
Note: while filling the application for 2023 we indicated that he was ban before, but didn't know the first passport DoB was wrong.
April 20th..2nd additional documents.
Submitted 21st.
April 28th, worksanddocuments replied that I didn't not send attachment so I replied back with same email and attachment.
May 4, collection email.
May 5 Brp mail.

When it's your time, it's your time. So many issues with wife's application but God saw us through. They requested for additional documents twice and we replied them.
But we thank God after all hurdles, midnight prayers, So many church prayers, mountains prayers and all.
At a point I tay for my wife. she won kill herself o. My people prayers no dey waste o I now see the essence. I didn't have issues at the POE, no much questions, nothing nothing.
My people God did it o. Everyone expecting theirs too please keep the hopes high. God will do it for you too.
