It keep saying I should put a valid travel date.
Have you checked if you're typing the date in the format it wants? Eg. 20.01.24, 20.1.24.
Also, if your job is a care job, you don't need to pay for IHS.🤷🏾‍♂️

Goodday everyone, please i need assistance on my situation. My wife is the MA and i am the dependent, we have twin girls that are less than 2yrs old but i have a 13yrs daughter but wasn't married to her mother. My senior daughter has been living with us since 2yrs now and we plan to move together. We all submitted and did biometric on the 6th of July but we got this email below on the 19th July

The UK Decision Making Centre is currently assessing the application submitted by the above named. We are unable to conclude the application at this time as we require additional information.
Your application is being assessed under paragraph SW 30.1 to SW 30.2. The Immigration Rules require that the applicant’s parents must each be either applying at the same time as the applicant or have permission to be in the UK (other than as a visitor) unless:
(a) the parent with permission as a Skilled Worker is the sole surviving parent; or
(b) the parent with permission as a Skilled Worker has sole responsibility for the child’s upbringing; or
(c) the decision maker is satisfied that there are serious and compelling reasons to grant the child entry clearance or permission to stay with the parent who has permission as a Skilled Worker.
You have applied to join or accompany your father to the UK. You have stated your parents are separated but have not provided sufficient evidence to demonstrate that you meet points (a), (b) or (c) as above.
Please provide any further evidence, information or documents you would like to be considered in line with points (a), (b) or (c).
Please send these documents as a scanned attachment within 10 working days to WorkSponsoredDocumentRequests@ homeoffice.gov.uk quoting your application reference in the subject line. You should include English translations of any documents that are not in English or Welsh.
Please attach the document directly to the email as we are unable to access links to files hosted on sites such as DropboxTM or Google DriveTM.
If you do not contact us with further information, evidence or documents within the next 10 days your application will be considered based on the information and evidence already submitted and may be refused.

We submitted family photos, consent letter from her mother, birth certificate and other necessary documents. Please how can i handle this situation ? Will this delay the whole application or others can be issued theirs while they are waiting to hear from us? What is best to do in this kind of situation?

@AdvanceNDA and everyone else, please assist me.

Thanks
Hi, hope you later sorted this out. Please update us on what you finally did.

Really?.Thanks so much for your quick response.Pls can you explain to me what Bank nurse is all about in UK?.
Bank shifts generally mean working extra time with your employer. If you're an NHS employee, you apply for it through the organization called NHS Professionals or so.

Also, if one renewed their passport a month after CoS issuance, is there any need for the employer to update the person's CoS with the new passport number before the person proceeds to apply for a visa? Thanks.

The renewed passport will still indicate your previous passport number. So, there's no point for updating..
Thanks.

Good morning house, please I have a question?
After series of applications online as a mental health, two trust have contacted me, the other trust ask me if I can sponsor myself to UK as they don't have the capacity to sponsor me which I told them yes because my husband is ok financially, but they are requested my ATM card details that has $350 visa fee, the person that contacted me via WhatsApp told me that they will do the visa application for me, I told them am not comfortable with the offer that they should give me COS so that me and my husband can take it from their, but the man is insisting, after some days, they booked interview via WhatsApp and after the series of questions, they contacted me the next day that I passed the interview and requested my TB test, police clearance and reference letter from my Hospital here in Nigeria. Please are this people genuine?
Nb: This trust is brighten?

However, I did another interview few days ago via Microsoft teams and this people are as transparent as ever. They also collected my phone number after the interview and promised to get back to me by next week, although my husband told me that I did well because their interview questions are circled around my work activities. Do you think they will contact me since they took my number after the interview?
Nb: This trust is in Manchester.
Hi, are you the one who once asked here about the possibility for sponsorship for MH nurses from Nigeria?
When you say Trust, do you mean an NHS Trust?🤔 I doubt that an NHS Trust would request money from an applicant in any guise, let alone chatting you up on WhatsApp.
Ensure you apply via NHS jobs website, and that you're dealing with NHS Trusts directly, not agencies. Most NHS Trusts even offer a full relocation package to RNMH, because it's a hard-to-recruit field. You can request that as well if you're successful, it's not too much for a RNMH.

Hi everyone, quick one. If the "work start date" on one's CoS is in September and the person is applying for a visa this November (2 months after), is there any problem as the work start date has passed?

Also, if one renewed their passport a month after CoS issuance, is there any need for the employer to update the person's CoS with the new passport number before the person proceeds to apply for a visa? Thanks.

Hello , I have decided to just keep mute , pls I would like to know if there’s anyone who did biometric since June , interview in July and still hasn’t heard anything ? STANDARD APPLICATION.

Did one paid mail and two paid calls , still under consideration, I’ve lost hope already , just want to know if there’s anyone who has been in this same situation before , even resumption date for work don pass . Application went well , interview went well .

Even if they want to refuse , does it actually take this long . Since June , has this ever happened on this thread before , please help me shed more light if you had similar experience or know anyone who took this long and still got the VISA.
If not , make I go deh plan on how to collect my IHS fees way I pay for 3 years back.

Cos I’m drained
I presume this was for Temporary Work Visa since you mentioned 'interview'. If so, unfortunately there's no specific turn out time for it oo, as some people wait for countless months. I guess UKVI doesn't prioritize that visa type.

cbn4main post=126771875]Your application has overstayed o. Was this your first NSF?

Quickly, check on your COS if your employer confirmed that you are eligible for a Health and Care worker visa.
I can see that your employer ticked 'Y' in the New Entrant section of your CoS. Are you sure it's supposed to be a yes?

My employer said I should relate with the Home office and explain to them.
I was just surprised that such a misunderstanding can happen at that level.

Again, why didn't the Home office send me an NSF? Rather, they emailed my employer.

Anyways, I have written a cover letter explaining in details. Hopefully, they will action it and do the needful.
I'm hoping it'll turn out favourably. Remember to let us know the outcome.
All the best.😇

I paid £551 which is the correct fee for HCW for 5 years visa. Now, the case worker is requested additional £533, making it a total of £1,084 ( equivalent to an ordinary SW visa for 5 years)
So, what's your employer saying about the whole situation? Have they tried to explain the error to UKVI?
TravelRe: UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health And Care Worker Visa / Qualified Teacher Route by Goodly1: 8:52am On Nov 03, 2023

No, that amount you mentioned is for SWV, not HCWV. £551 is the correct amount for HCWV for 5yrs, which is what he duly paid.

Hello everyone, I just stumbled upon this thread. Please I need information concerning UKVI tests for my wife, who is applying to work in the UK as a Health Care assistant, can we register through IDP instead of British council be sure IDP has a test centre in our present location (Ile-Ife) while the nearest location for British council is Osogbo. I also want to ask if it is compulsory for her to present Care certificates.
Ensure that whatever English test she's taking has UKVI attached to it, so as to avoid premium tears.🤷🏾‍♂️

The employer is the evil one here...

Before that 16th the license was finally revoked, the employer's would have been on suspension months before......and hence should not take on any applicant because it's 50/50

Once employer is on suspension....any application that comes on will be delayed by ukvi until suspension is lifted or license terminated
Oh no, that's so sad!😞

Good evening sir,I also noticed that most employers prefer a nurse that is already in Uk to the one that is still outside uk, which makes some Nurses here to be looking for a way to enter uk with visitors visa and write OSEC in order to get UK pIN,then while on visit visa they use the opportunity to get job offer and come back to Nigeria to apply health and care visa. Also, some have decided to enter uk through One year Masters degree program, while studying, they will write OSEC and get PIN and then use it to get job offer, which I believe the hospital will give the person Unconditional offer which I believe they will allow the person to be working part with them since still studying. After the person have finish the One year Masters degree program,he or she can then switch to Tier 2 visa. So,this another way someone can achieve it.Even the idea is bad,pls let the gurus in the house correct me.
We're trying to give you reasons to be optimistic and you're giving us reasons to be pessimistic. No doubt, what you've pointed out is very true. However, I'm still telling you that it's very possible, in fact, more than possible, to get UK NHS job offers while in Nigeria, especially nurses, as long as you've passed your IELTS and CBT. It all depends on you and your ability to persevere with your job hunt. If you're determined, you'll achieve it, even if it takes a year. But if you feel you have the money to go via study, then it's cool too.

Over a month now.
Just a month and you're already complaining. You haven't even started. You've achieved the first and most important part - passing your IELTS and CBT.
To be honest, UK job hunt is not for the faint-hearted, especially if you want to get it on merit. I'm not exaggerating to tell you that there were people who did more than a thousand applications for over 2 years before they finally got a 'yes'!
The only way out is to keep applying and keep improving yourself and your 'SI'. Also, search for 'International Nurse' on NHS job platforms and apply specifically to those adverts.
Each day, ensure you achieve a target of at least 10 applications. I bet you, you must get a 'yes' soon. All you need is just one 'yes' and the rest will be history.

As a nurse, and mental health for that matter, you're at a better advantage of getting UK job offers from Naija than any other person, because RNMH are being looked for by so many NHS Trusts. And yes, most NHS Trusts are willing to offer not just CoS but also full relocation packages, free of charge to RN's, especially for MH.
