Turkish airline doesn't require Transit visa.
If you check some booking site, they will put a warning sign on it to let you know this journey requires a Transit visa or not.
In summary, any flight that stop in most European countries require a transit visa except flight lyk Qatar airways, Turkish.
You can fly with African airline which only stop once such as Air Maroc,Ethiopian, Egypt air,Kenya airways etc.
No wahala yu fit check Air Peace sef and you may be lucky to have cheap tickets as first set of customers
WOW! Air Peace kwa!πŸ˜ƒ
Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Why's it that airlines don't include info about if a transit visa will be required for their flight, they just leave the customer guessing!😑
How do I know if Turkish Airlines would require a transit visa for a flight change in Istanbul Airport!😠

Goodevening house, Pls una wey get update for the jobs make una help biko, agent or direct..my wife is an auxiliary nurse, had few certifications ,had written Ielts and we'v applied multiple times on indeed and few other sites with nothing yet. Maybe we not doing some stuff right. She has got a USA visa but expired which she couldn't use, it advisable to state the language test on her CV and the visa history ?

How do we answer question asking if she has permit to work in the UK , which most of the time they end the application once you say No' while you still in Nigeria?

Anyone with useful advice on how to navigate the job search should assist Biko.
If she were a registered nurse, maybe it would've enhanced her chances of getting a job as a nurse. It's hard to find auxiliary nurse/health care assistant jobs with sponsorships, cos even registered nurses are struggling to find nursing jobs.
However, you can try your luck by applying to NHS hospitals. Link below.
https://www.jobs.nhs.uk

Yes, she can mention her IELTS result in her CV.
She doesn't have work permit/right to work because she's not in the UK, so the answer has to be 'No'. You can't lie to an employer whom you're looking for them to sponsor you, since you're an overseas candidate. You can simply let them know at application or interview stage that you'll be needing a CoS to get a work permit. An employer who's really interested in her will definitely give her a chance.

Ethiopia airline doesn't need a transit Visa for technical lay over in Geneva. You can contact them to verify. This is what I used on 29 Dec .
Thanks for this info. I contacted the manager and I was told the same thing you've written above.

So everybody, if you wish to book an Ethiopian Airlines flight from Nigeria to the UK, with a 1 hour layover in Geneva, you don't need a transit visa nor a yellow fever card, unless you're changing flights or doing a transfer.

PLEASE ANY NEED RENEWING MY DRIVERS LICENCE BEFORE MOVING TO THE UK?

HAVING IT WITH ME OVER THERE WHAT'S THE USE. IS IT RECOGNIZED AS A PROOF OF MY DRIVING SKILL OR I MUST STILL PASS THROUGH UK DRIVING SCHOOL?
Nigerian driver's license can be used for driving in the UK only for the first one year of your arrival in the UK. After that, you'll then need the UK one proper.

You need a Schengen Airport Transit Visa. The visa allows its holder to connect through the international transit area of an airport in the Schengen area during a stopover or a change of flights. This visa does not allow its holder to leave the international transit area of an airport.

You must apply for an "A" airport transit visa (ATV) if you are having a layover in any Schengen state which includes Switzerland.

You do not require an airport transit visa if you are a holder of a valid visa for a Member State of the European Union or the European Economic Area, Canada, the United States or Japan.

Cheers!
Thank you so much for this info.πŸ™πŸΏ

That used to be the case years ago (2014 thereabouts)

As of right now, it does not work
The only cards that work from Nigeria are dollar and pounds denominated Mastercard/ Visa

That's what I have using over the years
Thank you very much for your sane and meaningful response. Someone else is looking for a way to display their immaturity and insolence.

I got a not straightforward email today, I won't lie, I'm devastated.
Everything was straightforward, they mailed me and my wife like 4 days after our biometrics that we didn't submit our TB test certificate, we submitted it instantly, both the scanned and the original.
Then today, we are getting not straightforward email
This trust might withdraw COS by 25th of this month.
Is this an NHS Trust?πŸ€” Why would they want to punish their candidate by withdrawing their CoS when the person has already applied for a visa!☹️

Evening all.
I beg for newly wed couple applying for skilled visa. They have over 2yrs WhatsApp chat,Bank transfer evidence & marriage certificate & can get 2yrs call history only if 9ja network provider go giv.
Presenting 1month marriage certificate, does it have adverse effect on the outcome of the application based on the news/speculation that all marriages must be over 2yrs.

I hope 9ja win today match ooo.
These proofs you mentioned that you have should be sufficient to prove that the relationship is genuine. However, UKVI can be unpredictable.

Wife currently in UK as a Paramedic with NHIS Trust. Hubby and daughter in Nigeria planning to join her soon. Visa application process about to commence.

WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS I SHOULD BE GATHERING NOW for a smooth application process.

I still am not sure how much I will pay for myself and my daughter. Are we to pay for IHS ?. During my wife's application she didn't pay I remember but can't say of us as dependants
Documents plenty oo, just search this thread for other people's posts on documents submitted.
If your wife is on the Health and Care visa, then you don't have to pay for IHS.

Good evening house, please must one have a proof of funds before applying for care visa?
Why not! If your employer certified maintenance for you on your CoS, then you don't need PoF. If not, then you certainly need it.

Good everyone, please I would like to know,my is applyimg for care visa, all documents are complete.but the issue now is that she's pregnant which is showing on her tb test result..but does pregnancy plays any role in the visa application process..
It's not a crime to be pregnant and the UKVI have no business with an applicant's physical attributes. The employer may have policies regarding pregnant employees.

At the end of the day praises honour and thanks To the most high for granting my child’s dependent visa. I applied for my child visa who I had from a previous relationship and isn’t the biological daughter of my wife. NB my wife is a nurse who is the main applicant hence I’m a dependent. After 10 working days I got a letter from ukvi which I have attached it. Spoke to a couple of immigration lawyers who couldn’t assure me of even if I pay their Β£1000 charge for them to handle my case. I started researching because the only way out was to select the option C which was SERIOUS AND COMPELLING REASON. I had few guidelines since the information was limited. Yet I got documents to support my argument and rest assured her visa was approved yesterday. Thank you family. One thing I’ve always learnt is dedicate your time, research extensively and pray God will be on your side
This is great news!πŸ‘πŸΏ Congratulations πŸŽ‰ to you & your daughter! Please furnish us with the documents and steps you took to succeed with this option C.

Plz I received a mail from dmc asking to provide reason why my birth certificate was issued 16 years after i was born also asking me to upload evidences please help
Write a cover letter explaining, for instance, that it's a requirement for you to do a new birth certificate with the NPC while applying for a passport at immigration. Then attach your original birth certificate (if you have it) plus other documents bearing your date of birth (eg. WASSC, hospital records etc) to the email. All the best.

hello guys, i want to ask a genuine question, i am aware that most people now buy cos, but is it still possible that a person can apply for healthcare job in uk from nigeria, and the company will give such person cos for free? are some ppl still lucky to get free cos from nigeria without payment?
It's still possible but the truth is that it's VERY tough, even for professionals. Nowadays, most of the people who manage to get CoS free of charge are either health professionals or IT gurus.
The NHS, and a few other orgs, still issue free CoS to international applicants but it's highly competitive and requires a lot of effort and time.

So after registration, the biometrics must be in police headquarters, so each state headquarters can handle it.
Na really na wa oo!!!
During your online registration, you select any state police HQ nearest to you for your biometrics. You download your PCC from your portal some hours after biometrics.

Good morning my people, please I have a question, I'm done with all my documentation and my COS was billed to come out last week Thursday but they asked me to provide reference for a hospital that was in my CV which I removed when I was updating my CV to capture my CBT and IELTS, this was done following the advise of the person guiding me on my relocation process from NHS. When their superior sent me an email to explain why the hospital was removed from the updated CV, I explained to him that it wasn't supposed to be their because I worked in the hospital as a volunteer when I was nursing my mum sickness. Finally the sent me another email that I must get reference from the hospital.

When my school and the last hospital I worked before resigning sent their reference, I was told to fill employment gap to show what I was doing for the past 1year that left gap in my CV which I explained to them and pointed out to the hospital in my CV, they asked me to get reference from them which I did. So far so good I have given them 3 references. But my anger now is that the hospital were I did volunteer service doesn't have domain name, according to the MD, the domain name will be ready soon. But will they reject the HR personal email address I shared with them yesterday? Please am confused. My deployment date is supposed to be 27th February. Will this delay affect my deployment date?
I think you could just explain your situation exactly the way it is to your Trust and provide them with the HR email that's available. If they still require more official proof, eg a letter-headed paper, they'll let you know. All they need is honesty.
